We investigated the relative efficacy of a different reminder in performing a time-based Prospective Memory (PM) task. The PM performance of 24 participants with amnesic Mild Cognitive Impairment (AMCI) has been compared with that of 24 healthy controls. As ongoing task, samples of the Attentive Matrices Test were used. In the PM task subjects were requested to write an “X” every three minutes during a 9 minutes period. Participants received the task consisting either in a low demand condition (checking number “5”) or in a high demand condition (checking numbers “1”, “4”, “9”). In order to be as punctual as possible, participants were asked to simultaneously write the “X” at task time expiration, using a digital clock. Time monitoring was recorded. Reminder occurring was manipulated in that participants could receive critical, accidental or completely absent reminder. As expected, high cognitive demand was negatively correlated with PM performance and time monitoring. Unexpectedly, all the participants did not benefit from the critical reminder. These findings demonstrated, from a behavioral perspective, that Working Memory (WM) and PM processes are not based on the same memory system and PM may require WM resources at high demand.展开更多
Chinese Reminder Theorem(CRT)for integers has been widely used to construct secret sharing schemes for different scenarios,but these schemes have lower information rates than that of Lagrange interpolation-based schem...Chinese Reminder Theorem(CRT)for integers has been widely used to construct secret sharing schemes for different scenarios,but these schemes have lower information rates than that of Lagrange interpolation-based schemes.In ASIACRYPT 2018,Ning,et al.constructed a perfect(r,n)-threshold scheme based on CRT for polynomial ring over finite field,and the corresponding information rate is one which is the greatest case for a(r,n)-threshold scheme.However,for many practical purposes,the information rate of Ning,et al.scheme is low and perfect security is too much security.In this work,the authors generalize the Ning,et al.(r,n)-threshold scheme to a(t,r,n)-ramp scheme based on CRT for polynomial ring over finite field,which attains the greatest information rate(r−t)for a(t,r,n)-ramp scheme.Moreover,for any given 2≤r_(1)<r_(2)≤n,the ramp scheme can be used to construct a(r_(1),n)-threshold scheme that is threshold changeable to(r′,n)-threshold scheme for all r′∈{r_(1)+1,r_(1)+2,···,r_(2)}.The threshold changeable secret sharing(TCSS)scheme has a greater information rate than other existing TCSS schemes of this type.展开更多

The NBIOT has the characteristics of low power consumption, wide coverage and large number of connections, it supports the access of multiple intelligent medicine boxes in the same community[1].The set medication information is transmitted to the smart medicine box terminal through the NBIOT Internet of Things management platform, which sets the medication time and the medication dose. In order to prevent the mistake of taking medicine, the specifi ed medicine is opened by the medicine box electromagnetic lock device at the time of reaching the medication time, In order to remind the number of medications taken by the elderly during the medication, we use the voice module and the weighing module to provide services. At the same time, we installed a semiconductor refrigeration sheet in the medicine drawer of the medicine box, which can adjust the temperature of the medicine box to the set value to prevent the deterioration of the medicine. The experimental results of the medicine box showed that the smart medicine box of the old man has the characteristics of intelligence, stability, reliability and simple operation.展开更多
