Dilemma and Improvement Strategy of Ideological and Political Teaching in Chinese Universities based on Remote Online Education

As a new teaching method,remote online education has gradually become the most dependent teaching auxiliary method in universities.Especially under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic,Chinese universities,which mainly have cross-provincial students,have strengthened the development and construction of remote online courses due to social and geographical constraints.Among them,due to the particularity of ideological and political education,remote online ideological and political teaching has some problems,such as lack of learning situation analysis,difficult measurement of goal achievement,inefficient teacher-student interaction,single teaching strategy,and lack of unified teaching norms.To deal with these difficulties,in the background of digital transformation of education,especially in the post-epidemic era and the moment of the rise of artificial intelligence technology,to strengthen the top-level education design,security,and supervision as the benchmark,standardize local curriculum standards,classify and gradually improve teachers’enthusiasm for participation,and give full play to the advantages of artificial intelligence remote ideological and political teaching improvement.It is of profound significance to the cultivation of talents in Chinese universities.

Remote Teaching of Experimental Chemistry in Developing Countries

During the ongoing 2020 CoVid-19 crisis,the use of remote meeting technologies such as Zoom™,Microsoft Teams™and Google Meetings™has been paramount to theoretical teaching in a safe socially distanced environment.However,several problems arise when there is a need for an experimental approach.This paper looks at one of the possible solutions,including how to best separate the students,how to minimize close interactions and how a mixed environment of remote/presential teaching is required,minimizing the amount of extra materials,resources and protection equipment required,such that developing countries can quickly adopt this method,without the purchase of any external equipment.

Impacts of Online Remote Education on the Learning Process among Nursing Students

The period of existence and spread of Corona virus has led to the use of all means of remote education as an urgent necessity for all educational facilities, especially universities. Aim: Therefore, it was necessary to study the impacts of online remote education on the learning process among nursing students through studying of two courses;health information management at 6th semester and gerontology nursing course at 4th semester. Tool of Data Collection: A modified questionnaire comprised of forty statements was used through paper-based survey and online survey. Sample: A total samples (224) of nursing students were participated in the survey who enrolled in 2019 and 2020 spring semesters. Setting: The field of study was the nursing department of Applied Medical Science at Misr University for Science and Technology. Results: Induced positive impacts of online education on the learning process for nursing students experience were proven as more than half of the students (53.9%) had prior experience on online system use, and more than two thirds (62.5%) were competent in mobile/computer applications. Almost, two thirds (59.3%) agreed about online assessment experience, except that the online exam was anxious, and the time was insufficient to answer all questions. Also, more than two thirds (64.7%) agreed about the learning process of the two nursing courses. Conclusion: The study concluded that there were positive impacts of online education system on the learning process for nursing students except that the students were not able to decide that the remote online education system can replace traditional face-to-face learning as the clinical experience was not evaluated through this study. Recommendation: This study is recommended to be repeated on a large scale of participants to assess the possibility of achieving clinical experience through online remote education if Corona virus still coexists.

To avoid the shortcomings of many Web education systems that look like Web books, a true Web multimedia Engineering Graphics courseware is developed to explore the method and techniques of 2D animation with text, buttons, sounds and graphics merged together. For speeding up the transmission and download, data compression and interactive approach are introduced.

An Interactive Network Laboratory for Electronic Engineering Education

The advantage of the network laboratory is the better flexibility of lab experiments by allowing remote control from different locations at a freely chosen time. In engineering education, the work should not only be focused on the technical realization of virtual or remote access experiments, but also on the achievement of its pedagogical goals. In this paper, an interactive laboratory is introduced which is based on the online tutoring system, virtual and remote access experiments. It has been piloted in the Department of Electronic Science and Technology, HUST. Some pedagogical issues for electronic engineering laboratory design, the development of a multi-serverbased distributed architecture for the reduction of network latency and implementations of the function module are presented. Finally, the system is proved valid by an experiment.
