Objective:This scoping review will summarize COVID-19 vaccine research activities and describe the extent,range,and nature of evidence in the research of COVID-19 vaccines.Methods:Following Arksey and O’Malley’s fra...Objective:This scoping review will summarize COVID-19 vaccine research activities and describe the extent,range,and nature of evidence in the research of COVID-19 vaccines.Methods:Following Arksey and O’Malley’s framework and the methodological guidance of Joanna Briggs Institute(JBI),we propose a scoping review to summarize the extent,range,and na-ture of evidence in research related to COVID-19 vaccines.Based on research questions developed by us,a comprehensive search will be performed using the PubMed,Cochrane Library,Embase,Web of Science,CNKI,CBM,VIP,and WanFang databases by two independent reviewers.According to our predefined inclusion criteria,pairs of reviewers will independently assess theeligibility of the identified studies from the databases.Following literature selection,pairs of reviewers will extract relevant information related to our research questions.Subsequently,methodological quality and reporting quality of key evidence types(i.e.,random-ized controlled trials,systematic reviews,and meta-analyses)will be evaluated using commonly used tools,if possible.Qualitative synthesis and descriptive statistics will be used to summarize and present the results.In addition,new or updated meta-analysis will be conducted to pool the available data in included primary studies where possible.To track the trends in COVID-19 vaccine research,we plan to update our results approximately every 2-3 months.For preparing this scoping review protocol,we referred to the PRISMA-P checklist,and for reporting the following full texts,we will be following PRISMA-ScR guidelines.Conclusion:We believe that the results of this scoping review on COVID-19 vaccine will contribute to providing foundational knowledge and will have significant value in the research and practice concerning COVID-19 vaccines.The findings will also allow us to identify research gaps on this topic and also help us guide future research on COVID-19 vaccines.展开更多

In the light of this, an approach to analysing flutter characteristics which combines the merit of graphic and analytic methods, is presented. Also an optimal cost function with clear physical meaning which can overcome some inherent drawbacks of linear quadratic technique, is developed. Firstly,the demonstration test(3000 ton/a)results using a novel catalyst Co/SiO2 with egg-shell structure and the strategies for this catalyst preparation based on the issues from the mass transfer of produced wax from F-T synthesis will be discussed. Recent progresses on C2-oxygenate synthesis from syngas over a Rh/SiO2 catalyst and a 10 thousands ton/a demonstration test facility in China will be built in 2010 will be reported in the second section. A naphtha and diesel distillate which cut off the heavier end of S-F-A distribution direct synthesis with low methane selectivity from syngas over a Co/AC1 catalyst and a 10000 ton/a demonstration test with a bubble column slurry reactor will be talked about in this speech. A high α-alcohols of C2-C18 direct synthesis with more than 50 wt% selectivity and low methane and methanol selectivities from syngas over a Co2C/AC2 catalyst,a 3000 ton/a demonstration test with a bubble column slurry reactor and the primary fundamental understandings will be detailedly discussed in the forth section. Astronomy has been practiced in the Philippines for the past century. However, the study of celestial objects in the country is confined to its observation and publication of data. There is no course in astrnonmy in t...Astronomy has been practiced in the Philippines for the past century. However, the study of celestial objects in the country is confined to its observation and publication of data. There is no course in astrnonmy in the tertiary level while it is briefly covered in the general science curriculum of the elementary and high schools in the country. No serious research activity has been conducted primarily due to lack of necessary research instruments such as a high grade telescope and the required formal education or training of staff in astronomy to perform such an activity. The possible donation of a 45cm high grade telescope with its accessories by the government of Japan, through its Cultural Grant aid Program, to the Philippines will upgrade the capability of the Astronomical Observatory of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) to observe and study astronomical objects and phenomena. This paper mainly explores the impact of export market diversification as an important measure to deal with trade friction on firms total factor productivity.Firstly,this article focuses on the theoretical analysis of...This paper mainly explores the impact of export market diversification as an important measure to deal with trade friction on firms total factor productivity.Firstly,this article focuses on the theoretical analysis of the impact mechanism,including risk diversification,reversal effect and spillover effect.Based on the sample data of Chinese manufacturing export enterprises from 2000 to 2007,this paper conducts an empirical test on the relationship between export market diversification and total factor productivity.The result indicates that export market diversification has a significant positive effect on the total factor productivity of enterprises.After considering the endogenous problem,by controlling the fixed effects,using the two-stage least square method and changing the duration of the sample for robustness analysis,the results are still consistent.In addition,the role of diversification policy in total factor productivity presents heterogeneous characteristics in terms of different types of enterprise ownership,export intensity,industry competition,trade methods,and the development degree of exporting market.Accordingly,this paper puts forward corresponding policy recommendations.展开更多

Such increase should result in making ...The concept of higher education development allowing universities to make full contribution to the Lisbon Strategy, assumes an increased competitiveness of European universities. Such increase should result in making them more attractive to students, improving teaching quality, and finally ensuring higher levels of research and innovation. Universities will not become innovative and responsive to change unless they are given real autonomy and accountability. This requires new internal governance systems based on strategic priorities and on professional management of human resources, investment, and administrative procedures. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the relationship between education and scientific activities of universities. The said interrelation was analyzed both from the perspective of the university's main sources of revenues (i.e., subsidies), as well as from the perspective of financial results generated by the university's internal units. The paper's objective determines the choice of research methods, based on critical, comparative, and descriptive analysis. The paper contains elements of deductive reasoning. The authors' analysis showed a strongly negative correlation of research performance to educational performance. The structure of algorithms used to calculate the subsidy paid to a given university may suggest a negative correlation between its revenues from educational activity and those from research. However, by analyzing the variability of revenues vis-a-vis the main components of algorithms used to calculate the subsidy one can conclude that revenues from research and from education are not interrelated. This lack of any relationship could be explained by considerable inertia of the subsidies. Changes in key algorithm components do not have a proportional effect on the amount of available subsidy.展开更多

Resolution enhancement of active sonar can suppress the reverberation.While it also makes the envelope data distribution diverge from Rayleigh distribution to K-distribution.The stronger scattering speckles,the heavie...Resolution enhancement of active sonar can suppress the reverberation.While it also makes the envelope data distribution diverge from Rayleigh distribution to K-distribution.The stronger scattering speckles,the heavier of the K-distribution tails.The envelope amplitudes of these strong scattering speckles are usually very big.As the interfering target,the strong reverberation decreases the performances of the background power level estimation and the target detection.The fuzzy statistical normalization processing(FSNP) is introduced to suppress the strong reverberation firstly in this paper.Then how the strong reverberation and the FSNP affect the distribution of K-distributed sonar data is studied.The influence on the constant false alarm rate(CFAR) detection performance caused by the strong reverberation and the FSNP is also simulated and analyzed.Performance comparisons between the CFAR detector based on FSNP and the conventional CFAR detectors are carried out.The simulation results show that the strong reverberation can make the shape parameter of the interfering K-distributed data become smaller than that of the original K-distributed data.While the FSNP can suppress the strong reverberation,increase the shape parameter value,and improve the performance of the shape parameter estimator and the CFAR detector.展开更多

The achievements including publications and inter/national academic awards are also introduced. It can be seen that the level of academic publications has been growing over the past decades. Continuum mechanics may be seen as the symbol of modem mechanics, which differs greatly from current physics, the two often being mixed up by people and even sci- entists. In this short paper, I will first try to give an illustration on the differences between (modem) mechanics and physics, in my personal view, and then focus on some important current research activities in continuum mechanics, attempting to identify its path to the near future. We can see that continuum mechanics, while having a dominating impact on engineering design in the 20th century, also plays a pivotal role in modem science, and is much closer to physics, chemistry, biology, etc. than ever before.展开更多
