The present study addresses the problem of fault estimation for a specific class of nonlinear time-varying complex networks,utilizing an unknown-input-observer approach within the framework of dynamic event-triggered mechanism(DETM).In order to optimize communication resource utilization,the DETM is employed to determine whether the current measurement data should be transmitted to the estimator or not.To guarantee a satisfactory estimation performance for the fault signal,an unknown-input-observer-based estimator is constructed to decouple the estimation error dynamics from the influence of fault signals.The aim of this paper is to find the suitable estimator parameters under the effects of DETM such that both the state estimates and fault estimates are confined within two sets of closed ellipsoid domains.The techniques of recursive matrix inequality are applied to derive sufficient conditions for the existence of the desired estimator,ensuring that the specified performance requirements are met under certain conditions.Then,the estimator gains are derived by minimizing the ellipsoid domain in the sense of trace and a recursive estimator parameter design algorithm is then provided.Finally,a numerical example is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed estimator. 展开更多

The nonlinear filtering problem has enduringly been an active research topic in both academia and industry due to its ever-growing theoretical importance and practical significance.The main objective of nonlinear filtering is to infer the states of a nonlinear dynamical system of interest based on the available noisy measurements. In recent years, the advance of network communication technology has not only popularized the networked systems with apparent advantages in terms of installation,cost and maintenance, but also brought about a series of challenges to the design of nonlinear filtering algorithms, among which the communication constraint has been recognized as a dominating concern. In this context, a great number of investigations have been launched towards the networked nonlinear filtering problem with communication constraints, and many samplebased nonlinear filters have been developed to deal with the highly nonlinear and/or non-Gaussian scenarios. The aim of this paper is to provide a timely survey about the recent advances on the sample-based networked nonlinear filtering problem from the perspective of communication constraints. More specifically, we first review three important families of sample-based filtering methods known as the unscented Kalman filter, particle filter,and maximum correntropy filter. Then, the latest developments are surveyed with stress on the topics regarding incomplete/imperfect information, limited resources and cyber security.Finally, several challenges and open problems are highlighted to shed some lights on the possible trends of future research in this realm. 展开更多

In light of the prevailing issue that the existing convolutional neural network(CNN)power quality disturbance identification method can only extract single-scale features,which leads to a lack of feature information and weak anti-noise performance,a new approach for identifying power quality disturbances based on an adaptive Kalman filter(KF)and multi-scale channel attention(MS-CAM)fused convolutional neural network is suggested.Single and composite-disruption signals are generated through simulation.The adaptive maximum likelihood Kalman filter is employed for noise reduction in the initial disturbance signal,and subsequent integration of multi-scale features into the conventional CNN architecture is conducted.The multi-scale features of the signal are captured by convolution kernels of different sizes so that the model can obtain diverse feature expressions.The attention mechanism(ATT)is introduced to adaptively allocate the extracted features,and the features are fused and selected to obtain the new main features.The Softmax classifier is employed for the classification of power quality disturbances.Finally,by comparing the recognition accuracy of the convolutional neural network(CNN),the model using the attention mechanism,the bidirectional long-term and short-term memory network(MS-Bi-LSTM),and the multi-scale convolutional neural network(MSCNN)with the attention mechanism with the proposed method.The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method is higher than CNN,MS-Bi-LSTM,and MSCNN,and the overall recognition rate exceeds 99%,and the proposed method has significant classification accuracy and robust classification performance.This achievement provides a new perspective for further exploration in the field of power quality disturbance classification. 展开更多

A wireless sensor network mobile target tracking algorithm(ISO-EKF)based on improved snake optimization algorithm(ISO)is proposed to address the difficulty of estimating initial values when using extended Kalman filtering to solve the state of nonlinear mobile target tracking.First,the steps of extended Kalman filtering(EKF)are introduced.Second,the ISO is used to adjust the parameters of the EKF in real time to adapt to the current motion state of the mobile target.Finally,the effectiveness of the algorithm is demonstrated through filtering and tracking using the constant velocity circular motion model(CM).Under the specified conditions,the position and velocity mean square error curves are compared among the snake optimizer(SO)-EKF algorithm,EKF algorithm,and the proposed algorithm.The comparison shows that the proposed algorithm reduces the root mean square error of position by 52%and 41%compared to the SOEKF algorithm and EKF algorithm,respectively. 展开更多

A study is made for a 4 poles filter with 2 transmission zeros between the N + 2 transversal network method and the one found in the literature. This paper is concerned with the robust H ∞ filter problem for networked environments, which are subject to both transmission delay and packet dropouts randomly. By employing random series which have Bernoulli distributions taking value of 0 or 1, the data transmission model is obtained. Based on state augmentation and stochastic theory, the sufficient condition for robust stability with H ∞ constraints is derived for the filtering error system. The robust filter is designed in terms of feasibility of one certain linear matrix inequality (LMI), which is formed by adopting matrix congruence transformations. Filter Bank Networks for Few-Shot Class-Incremental Learning

Deep Convolution Neural Networks(DCNNs)can capture discriminative features from large datasets.However,how to incrementally learn new samples without forgetting old ones and recognize novel classes that arise in the dynamically changing world,e.g.,classifying newly discovered fish species,remains an open problem.We address an even more challenging and realistic setting of this problem where new class samples are insufficient,i.e.,Few-Shot Class-Incremental Learning(FSCIL).Current FSCIL methods augment the training data to alleviate the overfitting of novel classes.By contrast,we propose Filter Bank Networks(FBNs)that augment the learnable filters to capture fine-detailed features for adapting to future new classes.In the forward pass,FBNs augment each convolutional filter to a virtual filter bank containing the canonical one,i.e.,itself,and multiple transformed versions.During back-propagation,FBNs explicitly stimulate fine-detailed features to emerge and collectively align all gradients of each filter bank to learn the canonical one.FBNs capture pattern variants that do not yet exist in the pretraining session,thus making it easy to incorporate new classes in the incremental learning phase.Moreover,FBNs introduce model-level prior knowledge to efficiently utilize the limited few-shot data.Extensive experiments on MNIST,CIFAR100,CUB200,andMini-ImageNet datasets show that FBNs consistently outperformthe baseline by a significantmargin,reporting new state-of-the-art FSCIL results.In addition,we contribute a challenging FSCIL benchmark,Fishshot1K,which contains 8261 underwater images covering 1000 ocean fish species.The code is included in the supplementary materials. 展开更多

The stability of the subsea oil and gas production system is heavily influenced by slug flow. One successful method of managing slug flow is to use top valve control based on subsea pipeline pressure. However, the complexity of production makes it difficult to measure the pressure of subsea pipelines, and measured values are not always accessible in real-time. The research introduces a technique for integrating Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) and Wavelet Neural Network (WNN) to estimate the state of subsea pipeline pressure using historical data and a state model. The proposed method treats multiphase flow transport as a nonlinear model, with a dynamic WNN serving as the state observer. To achieve real-time state estimation, the WNN is included into the UKF algorithm to create a WNN-based UKF state equation. Integrate WNN and UKF in a novel way to predict system state accurately. The simulated results show that the approach can efficiently predict the inlet pressure and manage the slug flow in real-time using the riser's top pressure, outlet flow and valve opening. This method of estimate can significantly increase the control effect. 展开更多

The alpha–beta filter algorithm has been widely researched for various applications,for example,navigation and target tracking systems.To improve the dynamic performance of the alpha–beta filter algorithm,a new prediction learning model is proposed in this study.The proposed model has two main components:(1)the alpha–beta filter algorithm is the main prediction module,and(2)the learning module is a feedforward artificial neural network(FF‐ANN).Furthermore,the model uses two inputs,temperature sensor and humidity sensor data,and a prediction algorithm is used to predict actual sensor readings from noisy sensor readings.Using the novel proposed technique,prediction accuracy is significantly improved while adding the feed‐forward backpropagation neural network,and also reduces the root mean square error(RMSE)and mean absolute error(MAE).We carried out different experiments with different experimental setups.The proposed model performance was evaluated with the traditional alpha–beta filter algorithm and other algorithms such as the Kalman filter.A higher prediction accuracy was achieved,and the MAE and RMSE were 35.1%–38.2%respectively.The final proposed model results show increased performance when compared to traditional methods. 展开更多

Using some instantaneously mixed observations of several real-world vehicle acoustic signals, the proposed statistical method is compared with a conventional non-stationary Blind Source Separation algorithm and attractive simulation results are achieved. Moreover, considering the natural convenience to transmit particles between sensor nodes, the algorithm based on particle filtering is believed to have potential to enable the task of multiple vehicles recognition collaboratively performed by sensor nodes in distributed wireless sensor network. 展开更多

With the development of Internet technology,the explosive growth of Internet information presentation has led to difficulty in filtering effective information.Finding a model with high accuracy for text classification has become a critical problem to be solved by text filtering,especially for Chinese texts.This paper selected the manually calibrated Douban movie website comment data for research.First,a text filtering model based on the BP neural network has been built;Second,based on the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency(TF-IDF)vector space model and the doc2vec method,the text word frequency vector and the text semantic vector were obtained respectively,and the text word frequency vector was linearly reduced by the Principal Component Analysis(PCA)method.Third,the text word frequency vector after dimensionality reduction and the text semantic vector were combined,add the text value degree,and the text synthesis vector was constructed.Experiments show that the model combined with text word frequency vector degree after dimensionality reduction,text semantic vector,and text value has reached the highest accuracy of 84.67%. 展开更多

The detection of ash content in coal slime flotation tailings using deep learning can be hindered by various factors such as foam,impurities,and changing lighting conditions that disrupt the collection of tailings images.To address this challenge,we present a method for ash content detection in coal slime flotation tailings.This method utilizes chromatographic filter paper sampling and a multi-scale residual network,which we refer to as MRCN.Initially,tailings are sampled using chromatographic filter paper to obtain static tailings images,effectively isolating interference factors at the flotation site.Subsequently,the MRCN,consisting of a multi-scale residual network,is employed to extract image features and compute ash content.Within the MRCN structure,tailings images undergo convolution operations through two parallel branches that utilize convolution kernels of different sizes,enabling the extraction of image features at various scales and capturing a more comprehensive representation of the ash content information.Furthermore,a channel attention mechanism is integrated to enhance the performance of the model.The combination of the multi-scale residual structure and the channel attention mechanism within MRCN results in robust capabilities for image feature extraction and ash content detection.Comparative experiments demonstrate that this proposed approach,based on chromatographic filter paper sampling and the multi-scale residual network,exhibits significantly superior performance in the detection of ash content in coal slime flotation tailings. 展开更多

In the tag recommendation task on academic platforms,existing methods disregard users’customized preferences in favor of extracting tags based just on the content of the articles.Besides,it uses co-occurrence techniques and tries to combine nodes’textual content for modelling.They still do not,however,directly simulate many interactions in network learning.In order to address these issues,we present a novel system that more thoroughly integrates user preferences and citation networks into article labelling recommendations.Specifically,we first employ path similarity to quantify the degree of similarity between user labelling preferences and articles in the citation network.Then,the Commuting Matrix for massive node pair paths is used to improve computational performance.Finally,the two commonalities mentioned above are combined with the interaction paper labels based on the additivity of Poisson distribution.In addition,we also consider solving the model’s parameters by applying variational inference.Experimental results demonstrate that our suggested framework agrees and significantly outperforms the state-of-the-art baseline on two real datasets by efficiently merging the three relational data.Based on the Area Under Curve(AUC)and Mean Average Precision(MAP)analysis,the performance of the suggested task is evaluated,and it is demonstrated to have a greater solving efficiency than current techniques. 展开更多

The aging prediction of railway catenary is of profound significance for ensuring the regular operation of electrified trains.However,in real-world scenarios,accurate predictions are challenging due to various interferences.This paper addresses this challenge by proposing a novel method for predicting the aging of railway catenary based on an improved Kalman filter(KF).The proposed method focuses on modifying the priori state estimate covariance and measurement error covariance of the KF to enhance accuracy in complex environments.By comparing the optimal displacement value with the theoretically calculated value based on the thermal expansion effect of metals,it becomes possible to ascertain the aging status of the catenary.To improve prediction accuracy,a railway catenary aging prediction model is constructed by integrating the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy neural network(FNN)and KF.In this model,an adaptive training method is introduced,allowing the FNN to use fewer fuzzy rules.The inputs of the model include time,temperature,and historical displacement,while the output is the predicted displacement.Furthermore,the KF is enhanced by modifying its prior state estimate covariance and measurement error covariance.These modifications contribute to more accurate predictions.Lastly,a low-power experimental platform based on FPGA is implemented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.The test results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms the compared method,showcasing its superior performance. 展开更多

Finally, based on the LDI model, a neural network-based nonlinear filter (NNBNF) is developed to minimize the upper bound of H∞ gain index of the estimation error under some linear matrix inequality (LMI) constraints. Compared with the existing nonlinear filters, NNBNF is time-invariant and numerically tractable. In this method, the long-short-term memory(LSTM) neural network is nested into the extended Kalman filter(EKF) to modify the Kalman gain such that the filtering performance is improved in the presence of large model uncertainties. To avoid the unstable network output caused by the abrupt changes of system states,an adaptive correction factor is introduced to correct the network output online. In the process of training the network, a multi-gradient descent learning mode is proposed to better fit the internal state of the system, and a rolling training is used to implement an online prediction logic. Based on the Lyapunov second method, we discuss the stability of the system, the result shows that when the training error of neural network is sufficiently small, the system is asymptotically stable. With its application to the estimation of time-varying parameters of a missile dual control system, the LSTM-EKF shows better filtering performance than the EKF and adaptive EKF(AEKF) when there exist large uncertainties in the system model. 展开更多

The model of vehicular dead reckoning system fitting for the algorithm is constructed, and the design scheme of system filtering and estimation based on Hopfield network is proposed. Compared with Kalman filter, the algorithm does not require very precise system model and the prior knowledge of noise statistics and does not diverge easily. The simulation results show that the vehicular dead reckoning system based on Hopfield network filtering and estimation has the good position precision, and needn't require the inertial sensors with high precision. Potential friendship discovery in social networks based on hybrid ensemble multiple collaborative filtering models in a 5G network environment

At present, 5G network technology is being applied to various social network modes, and it can provide technical and traffic support for social networks. Potential friendship discovery technology in 5G-enabled social networks is beneficial for users to make potential friends and expand their range of activities and social hierarchy, which is highly sought after in today's social networks and has great economic and application value. However, the sparsity of the dominant user association dataset in 5G-enabled social networks and the limitations of traditional collaborative filtering algorithms are two major challenges for the friend recommendation problem. Therefore, in order to overcome these problems regarding previous models, we propose a Hybrid Ensemble Multiple Collaborative Filtering Model (HEMCF) for discovering potential buddy relationships. The HEMCF model draws on a special autoencoder method that can effectively exploit the association matrix between friends and additional information to extract a hidden representation of users containing global structural information. Then, it uses the random walk-based graph embedding algorithm DeepWalk to extract another hidden representation of users in the buddy network containing local structural information. Finally, in the output module, the HEMCF model stacks and multiplies the two types of hidden representations of users to ensure that the information mentioned above is concentrated in the final output to generate the final prediction value. The magnitude of the prediction value represents the probability of the users being friends, with larger values representing a high probability of the two users being friends, and vice versa. Experimental results show that the proposed method boosts the accuracy of the relationship prediction over baselines on 3 real-world public datasets dramatically. 展开更多
