To further research the response of the tearing mode(TM) to dynamic resonant magnetic perturbation(DRMP) on the J-TEXT tokamak, a modified series resonant inverter power supply(MSRIPS) with a function of discrete variable frequency is designed for DRMP coils in this study. The MSRIPS is an AC–DC–AC converter, including a phase-controlled rectifier, an LC filter, an insulated gate bipolar transistor(IGBT) full bridge, a matching transformer, three resonant capacitors with different capacitance values, and three corresponding silicon controlled rectifier(SCR) switches. The function of discrete variable frequency is realized by switching over different resonant capacitors with corresponding SCR switches while matching the corresponding driving frequency of the IGBT full bridge. A detailed switching strategy of the SCR switch is put forward to obtain sinusoidal current waveform and realize current waveform smooth transition during frequency conversion. In addition, a resistor and thyristor bleeder is designed to protect the SCR switch from overvoltage. Manufacturing of the MSRIPS is completed, and the MSRIPS equipment can output current with an amplitude of 1.5 kA when its working frequency jumps among different frequencies. Moreover, the current waveform is sinusoidal and can smoothly transition during frequency conversion. Furthermore, the transition time when the current amplitude rises from zero to a steady state is less than 2 ms during frequency conversion. By using the MSRIPS, the expected discrete variable frequency DRMP is generated, and the phenomenon of the TM being locked to the discrete variable frequency DRMP is observed on the J-TEXT tokamak. 展开更多

Single Phase Induction Motor(SPIM)is widely used in industries at starting stage to provide high starting torque.The objective of the work is to develop a drive for Single Phase Induction Motor that does not use a start or run capacitor.In this work,the researchers present the details about Maximum Power Point Tracking using series-compensated Buck Boost Converter,resonant Direct Current(DC)to Alternate Current(AC)inverter and matrix converter-based drive.The proposed method provides a variable starting torque feature that can be adjusted depending upon machine load to ensure Power Quality(PQ).The system uses Series Compensated Buck Boost Converter(SCBBC)to derive the power from solar source and a Partial Resonant Inverter(PRI)between the Matrix Converter(MC)and DC link battery to reduce the switching loss.The application of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation(SVPWM)ensures the improvement of power quality at driving terminals of SPIM.The proposed system has been math-ematically modelled and simulated in MATLAB SIMULINK environment and was validated using standardized experimental verification. 展开更多

This paper presents a lumped equivalent circuit model of the nonreciprocal magnetoelectric tunable microwave bandpass filter.The reciprocal coupled-line circuit is based on the converse magnetoelectric effect of magnetoelectric composites,includes the electrical tunable equivalent factor of the piezoelectric layer,and is established by the introduced lumped elements,such as radiation capacitance,radiation inductance,and coupling inductance,according to the transmission characteristics of the electromagnetic wave and magnetostatic wave in an inverted-L-shaped microstrip line and ferrite slab.The nonreciprocal transmission property of the filter is described by the introduced T-shaped circuit containing controlled sources.Finally,the lumped equivalent circuit of a nonreciprocal magnetoelectric tunable microwave band-pass filter is given and the lumped parameters are also expressed.When the deviation angles of the ferrite slab are respectively 0° and45°,the corresponding magnetoelectric devices are respectively a reciprocal device and a nonreciprocal device.The curves of S parameter obtained by the lumped equivalent circuit model and electromagnetic simulation are in good agreement with the experimental results.When the deviation angle is between 0° and 45°,the maximum value of the S parameter predicted by the lumped equivalent circuit model is in good agreement with the experimental result.The comparison results of the paper show that the lumped equivalent circuit model is valid.Further,the effect of some key material parameters on the performance of devices is predicted by the lumped equivalent circuit model.The research can provide the theoretical basis for the design and application of nonreciprocal magnetoelectric tunable devices. 展开更多

Photovoltaic(PV)inverters have been widely used in large-scale PV power generation systems to reduce the system mismatch and increase the output power.With the increasing installed capacity of PV power stations,the number of string PV inverters increases,which brings about risk of inverter resonance and influences the quality and stability of multi-parallel inverters grid-connected system.Thus,the problems of multi-parallel inverters resonance have become a hot research topic.This paper is focused on the case of grid-connected string PV inverter systems,and the grid-connected PV inverter resonance where resonance suppression strategy will be analyzed and discussed.Firstly,the structure of string PV inverter and multi-parallel inverters system are presented.Secondly,discussions are made about the model of multi-parallel inverters system and its resonance characteristics based on the multi-input-multi-output(MIMO)system,Norton equivalent circuit and carrier synchronization.Thirdly,two strategies of^inverter level"and"system level"are provided to summarize the multi-parallel inverters resonance suppression strategy.Finally,the development tendency of resonance suppression strategy and conclusions are prospected. 展开更多
