A mold non-sinusoidal oscillation mechanism driven by servomotor is proposed and the prototype is produced in the lab, the investment is low and the modification ratio is can be adjusted online, and the stability problem is studied. At first the dynamics model of the servomotor non-sinusoidal oscillation is established, and the kinematics differential function is deduced. Furthermore, based on the harmonic balance method, the eigenvalues of the system are solved; the criterion of the stability of the system is put forward. In addition, the eigenvalues and harmonic with different oscillating parameters are analyzed. Analytical results show that the real parts of the eigenvalues are positive, the system will be unstable, and the resonance will occur when the positive real parts of the eigenvalues are extremum. A foundation is established for solving the running smooth problem and next application of this mechanism.展开更多

We systematically analyse the effects of time delays, the feedback mechanism, and biological stochasticity on the power spectra. It has been clarified that the time delays together with the feedback mechanism can induce stochastic oscillations at the molecular level and invalidate the noise addition rule for a modular description of the noise propagator. Delay-induced stochastic resonance can be expected, which is related to the stability loss of the reaction systems and Hopf bifurcation occurring for solutions of the corresponding deterministic reaction equations. Through the analysis of the power spectrum, a new approach is proposed to estimate the oscillation period.展开更多

The effects of the Reynolds number, oscillation amplitude and frequency on the vortex wake modes and hydrodynamics forces on the cylinder surface are systematically investigated. Special attention is paid to the phenomenon of resonance induced by the cylinder oscillation. The results demonstrate that vortex shedding can be excited extensively under subcritical conditions, and the response region of vibration frequency broadens with increasing Reynolds number and oscillation amplitude. Two distinct types of vortex shedding regimes are observed. The first type of vortex shedding regime(VSR I) is excited at low frequencies close to the intrinsic frequency of flow, and the second type of vortex shedding regime(VSR II)occurs at high frequencies with the Reynolds number close to the critical value. In the VSR I, a pair of alternately rotating vortices are shed in the wake per oscillation cycle, and lock-in/synchronization occurs, while in the VSR II, two alternately rotating vortices are shed for several oscillation cycles, and the vortex shedding frequency is close to that of a stationary cylinder under the critical condition. The excitation mechanisms of the two types of vortex shedding modes are analyzed separately.展开更多

文摘The relaxation oscillation characteristics of a resonant tunneling diode (RTD) with applied pressure are reported. The oscillation circuit is simulated and designed by Pspice 8. 0, and the measured oscillation frequency is up to 200kHz. Using molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) ,AIAs/lnx Ga1-x As/GaAs double barrier resonant tunneling structures (DBRTS) are grown on (100) semi-insulated (SI) GaAs substrate, and the RTD is processed by Au/Ge/Ni/Au metallization and an airbridge structure. Because of the piezoresistive effect of RTD,with Raman spectrum to measure the applied pressure, the relaxation oscillation characteristics have been studied, which show that the relaxation oscillation frequency has approxi- mately a - 17.9kHz/MPa change.

文摘A weakly nonlinear oscillator was modeled by a sort of differential equation, a saddle-node bifurcation was found in case of primary and secondary resonance. To control the jumping phenomena and the unstable region of the nonlinear oscillator, feedback controllers were designed. Bifurcation control equations were obtained by using the multiple scales method. And through the numerical analysis, good controller could be obtained by changing the feedback control gain. Then a feasible way of further research of saddle-node bifurcation was provided. Finally, an example shows that the feedback control method applied to the hanging bridge system of gas turbine is doable.

文摘The investments of the electro-hydraulic servo system of the mold non-sinusoidal oscillator are great, the modification ratio of the mechanical type is unable to be adjusted online, and some continuous casters suffer from server resonance during the casting. A foundation is established for solving the running smooth problem and next application of this mechanism.
文摘Harmonic, subharmonic, superharmonic, simultaneous sub/super harmonic, and combination resonances of the additive type of self-excited two coupled-second order systems to multi-frequency excitation are investigated. The theoretical results are obtained by the multiple-scales method. The steady state amplitudes for each resonance are plotted, showing the influence of the different parameters. Analysis for each figure is given. Approximate solution corresponding to each type of resonance is determined. Stability analyses are carried out for each case.

文摘With the aid of stochastic delayed-feedback differential equations, we derive an analytic expression for the power spectra of reacting molecules included in a generic biological network motif that is incorporated with a feedback mechanism and time delays in gene regulation. Through the analysis of the power spectrum, a new approach is proposed to estimate the oscillation period.

文摘Flow around an oscillating cylinder in a subcritical region are numerically studied with a lattice Boltzmann method(LBM). The excitation mechanisms of the two types of vortex shedding modes are analyzed separately.

文摘The dynamical properties of fractional-order Duffing–van der Pol oscillator are studied, and the amplitude–frequency response equation of primary resonance is obtained by the harmonic balance method. The stability condition for steady-state solution is obtained based on Lyapunov theory. The comparison of the approximate analytical results with the numerical results is fulfilled, and the approximations obtained are in good agreement with the numerical solutions. The bifurcations of primary resonance for system parameters are analyzed. The results show that the harmonic balance method is effective and convenient for solving this problem, and it provides a reference for the dynamical analysis of similar nonlinear systems.
