Previous article reported a novel NLR protein SUT1 (SUPPRESSORS OF TOPP4-1, 1), which is involved in autoimmunity initiated by type one protein phosphatase 4 mutation (topp4-1) in Arabidopsis, however, its role in planta is still unclear. This study employed Nicotiana benthamiana, a model platform, to conduct an overall structural and functional analysis of SUT1 protein. The transient expression results revealed that SUT1 is a typical CNL (CC-NBS-LRR) receptor, both fluorescence data and biochemical results showed the protein is mainly anchored on the plasma membrane due to its N-terminal acylation site. Further truncation experiments announced that its CC (coiled-coil) domain possessed cell-death-inducing activity. The outcomes of point mutations analysis revealed that not only the CC domain, but also the full-length SUT1 protein, whose function and subcellular localization are influenced by highly conserved hydrophobic residues. These research outcomes provided favorable clues for elucidating the activation mechanism of SUT1.展开更多

文摘In the context of the joint operation of China’s intra-provincial markets and inter-provincial trading, how to meet the load demand and energy consumption using inter-provincial renewable energy trading is a key problem. The combined operation of intra-provincial and inter-provincial markets provides a new way for provincial power companies to optimize and clear the intra-provincial power market, complete the intra-provincial consumption responsibility weight index, and consume renewable energy across provinces and regions. This paper combines power generation and consumption within the province, uses inter-provincial renewable energy trading tomeet the load demand within the province and completes the index of intra-provincial consumption responsibility weights. The intra-provincial market trading and inter-provincial market clearing are respectively taken as the upper and lower levels of the model.Under the two-level electricity market operation framework, the upper-level model aims to minimize the expected total operating cost within the province considering the carbon emission cost and the weight of the consumption responsibility, while the lower-level model aims to minimize the inter-provincial renewable energy purchasing cost. Finally, the influence of inter-provincial transaction mechanism, risk aversion coefficient, voucher price, and responsibility weight on operating cost is analyzed.Simulation is used to verify that the proposed model can meet the requirements of the provincial load power consumption and the consumption responsibility weight index, and promote the consumption of renewable energy.
文摘Corporate social responsibility is the inevitable requirement for the survival and development of enterprises in modern society,as well as the basic guarantee for the sustainable development of economy and society. In order to analyze the driving factors of corporate social responsibility from both internal and external aspects, the dynamic model of corporate social responsibility was constructed, and the driving strategies of corporate social responsibility were also suggested. The driving factors of corporate social responsibility include not only the external constraints of policies, regulations and stakeholders, but also the internal requirements of the sustainable development of enterprises.Only when the external driving force is transformed into the spontaneous and conscious responsibility behavior of the enterprise, can the enterprise achieve its due effect. Moreover,in order to better fulfill the social responsibility, enterprise should build a management system of social responsibility, enhance the awareness of social responsibility, and promote the effective implementation of social responsibility projects. The relevant department should strengthen the all-round supervision of corporate social responsibility, and further improve the policies, laws and regulations related to social responsibility.Enterprises should strengthen communication with stakeholders, actively disclose social responsibility information, and constantly improve social responsibility behavior.By implementing social responsibility, enterprise can improve its business environment, enhance corporate brand image and core competitiveness, and promote the sustainable development of economy and society.

文摘Green innovation has become a strategic direction for the country and enterprises, and it is an important facet in achieving high-quality economic development.Whether corporate social responsibility(CSR),as a key competitive strategy for achieving sustainable economic development, can promote corporate green innovation and the path of evolution has become a hot topic of current research. This paper takes Chinese manufacturing A share listed companies as its sample and uses Stata sofware to conduct regression analysis to test the relationship between CSR,financing constraints, and green innovation, respectively. It further distinguishes the sample into different technological properties and different regions to study the degree of differentiation of the mediating effect on financing constraints. The results show that CSR can not only directly promote corporate green innovation, but that it also can further positively influence corporate green innovation by alleviating financing constraints.Financing constraints play a mediating role in the relationship between CSR and green innovation, especially in enterprises with strong innovation demand and in regions with high levels of regional economic development. The findings enrich the research perspective on the relationship between CSR and green innovation and provide realistic data support for subsequent studies.

文摘Underground hydrogen storage(UHS)and compressed air energy storage(CAES)are two viable largescale energy storage technologies for mitigating the intermittency of wind and solar power. Therefore,it is meaningful to compare the properties of hydrogen and air with typical thermodynamic storage processes. This study employs a multi-physical coupling model to compare the operations of CAES and UHS,integrating gas thermodynamics within caverns, thermal conduction, and mechanical deformation around rock caverns.Gas thermodynamic responses are validated using additional simulations and the field test data.Temperature and pressure variations of air and hydrogen within rock caverns exhibit similarities under both adiabatic and diabatic simulation modes.Hydrogen reaches higher temperature and pressure following gas charging stage compared to air,and the ideal gas assumption may lead to overestimation of gas temperature and pressure.Unlike steel lining of CAES,the sealing layer(fibre-reinforced plastic FRP)in UHS is prone to deformation but can effectively mitigates stress in the sealing layer. In CAES,the first principal stress on the surface of the sealing layer and concrete lining is tensile stress, whereas UHS exhibits compressive stress in the same areas. Our present research can provide references for the selection of energy storage methods.

文摘The hydrothermal synthesis of In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2)–In_(2)O_(3)is investigated as well as the properties of sensor layers based on these compounds.During the synthesis of In_(2)O_(3),intermediate products In(OH)_(3)and InOOH are formed, which are the precursors of stable cubic(c-In_(2)O_(3))and metastable rhombohedral(rh-In_(2)O_(3))phases,respectively.A transition from c-In_(2)O_(3)to rh-In_(2)O_(3)is observed with the addition of CeO_(2).The introduction of cerium into rh-In_(2)O_(3)results in a decrease in the sensor response to hydrogen, while it increases in composites based on c-In_(2)O_(3).The data on the sensor activity of the composites correlate with XPS results in which CeO_(2)causes a decrease in the concentrations of chemisorbed oxygen and oxygen vacancies in rh-In_(2)O_(3).The reverse situation is observed in composites based on c-In_(2)O_(3).Compared to In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2)–In_(2)O_(3)obtained by other methods, the synthesized composites demonstrate maximum response to H_(2)at low temperatures by 70–100℃,and have short response time(0.2–0.5 s),short recovery time(6–7 s),and long-term stability.A model is proposed for the dependence of sensitivity on the direction of electron transfer between In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2).
文摘Nucleotide-binding site leucine-rich repeat receptors (NBS-LRR/NLRs) are crucial intracellular immune proteins in plants. These research outcomes provided favorable clues for elucidating the activation mechanism of SUT1.
文摘To explore the response law of non-lethal large-size kinetic energy projectiles to blunt attack on skin tissue, and to evaluate the skin injury characteristics of the attacked personnel and the use safety of kinetic energy projectiles.Based on the LS-DYNA simulation software,a three-layer skin simulation model and a Flash-Ball rubber bullet model are established, and the force-time and deformation-time biomechanical corridors of the Flash-Ball rubber bullet impacting human skin tissue are obtained. The corridor curve and the energy transfer and diffusion are analyzed and compared. The safety evaluation of the damage caused by the rubber bullet shooting a human body at different distances is carried out using the empirical formula of the penetration limit. Finally, the safe shooting distance is obtained. The results show that the model used in the simulation has a good correlation with the experimental data, its biomechanical corridor characteristics are different from those of conventional vehicle impact and smallsize projectile response characteristics. The energy transfer and action time of medium and low-speed impact may cause greater damage. The fat layer is the largest energy absorption unit. The minimum safe shooting distance to ensure skin tissue from penetrating damage is 15.8 m,and the limit specific kinetic energy of skin damage is 7.88 J/cm^(2).This study can be extended to the study of biomechanical response law and safety evaluation under the impact of the same type of large kinetic energy projectile, which provides an important theoretical reference for the police to use large kinetic energy projectiles to conduct safe shooting in peacekeeping operations.
文摘Background:According to clinical practice guidelines, transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is the standard treatment modality for patients with intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Early prediction of treatment response can help patients choose a reasonable treatment plan. This study aimed to investigate the value of the radiomic-clinical model in predicting the efficacy of the first TACE treatment for HCC to prolong patient survival. Methods:A total of 164 patients with HCC who underwent the first TACE from January 2017 to September 2021 were analyzed. The tumor response was assessed by modified response evaluation criteria in solid tumors(mRECIST),and the response of the first TACE to each session and its correlation with overall survival were evaluated. The radiomic signatures associated with the treatment response were identified by the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO),and four machine learning models were built with different types of regions of interest(ROIs)(tumor and corresponding tissues)and the model with the best performance was selected. The predictive performance was assessed with receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves and calibration curves. Results:Of all the models, the random forest(RF)model with peritumor(+10 mm)radiomic signatures had the best performance[area under ROC curve(AUC)=0.964 in the training cohort,AUC=0.949 in the validation cohort].The RF model was used to calculate the radiomic score(Rad-score),and the optimal cutoff value(0.34)was calculated according to the Youden’s index.Patients were then divided into a high-risk group(Rad-score>0.34)and a low-risk group(Rad-score≤0.34),and a nomogram model was successfully established to predict treatment response. The predicted treatment response also allowed for significant discrimination of Kaplan-Meier curves.Multivariate Cox regression identified six independent prognostic factors for overall survival, including male[hazard ratio(HR)=0.500,95%confidence interval(CI):0.260–0.962,P=0.038],alpha-fetoprotein(HR=1.003,95%CI:1.002–1.004,P<0.001),alanine aminotransferase(HR=1.003,95%CI:1.001–1.005,P=0.025),performance status(HR=2.400,95%CI:1.200–4.800,P=0.013),the number of TACE sessions(HR=0.870,95%CI:0.780–0.970,P=0.012)and Rad-score(HR=3.480,95%CI:1.416–8.552,P=0.007).Conclusions:The radiomic signatures and clinical factors can be well-used to predict the response of HCC patients to the first TACE and may help identify the patients most likely to benefit from TACE.

文摘Background:Choosing the appropriate antipsychotic drug(APD)treatment for patients with schizophrenia(SCZ)can be challenging,as the treatment response to APD is highly variable and difficult to predict due to the lack of effective biomarkers.Previous studies have indicated the association between treatment response and genetic and epigenetic factors, but no effective biomarkers have been identified.Hence, further research is imperative to enhance precision medicine in SCZ treatment. Methods:Participants with SCZ were recruited from two randomized trials. The discovery cohort was recruited from the CAPOC trial(n=2307)involved 6 weeks of treatment and equally randomized the participants to the Olanzapine,Risperidone,Quetiapine,Aripiprazole,Ziprasidone, and Haloperidol/Perphenazine(subsequently equally assigned to one or the other)groups. The external validation cohort was recruited from the CAPEC trial(n=1379),which involved 8 weeks of treatment and equally randomized the participants to the Olanzapine,Risperidone, and Aripiprazole groups.Additionally, healthy controls(n=275)from the local community were utilized as a genetic/epigenetic reference. The genetic and epigenetic(DNA methylation)risks of SCZ were assessed using the polygenic risk score(PRS)and polymethylation score, respectively. The study also examined the genetic-epigenetic interactions with treatment response through differential methylation analysis, methylation quantitative trait loci, colocalization, and promoteranchored chromatin interaction.Machine learning was used to develop a prediction model for treatment response, which was evaluated for accuracy and clinical benefit using the area under curve(AUC)for classification,R^(2) for regression, and decision curve analysis. Results:Six risk genes for SCZ(LINC01795,DDHD2,SBNO1,KCNG2,SEMA7A,and RUFY1)involved in cortical morphology were identified as having a genetic-epigenetic interaction associated with treatment response. The developed and externally validated prediction model, which incorporated clinical information,PRS,genetic risk score(GRS),and proxy methylation level(proxyDNAm),demonstrated positive benefits for a wide range of patients receiving different APDs,regardless of sex[discovery cohort:AUC=0.874(95%CI 0.867-0.881),R^(2)=0.478;external validation cohort:AUC=0.851(95%CI 0.841-0.861),R^(2)=0.507].Conclusions:This study presents a promising precision medicine approach to evaluate treatment response, which has the potential to aid clinicians in making informed decisions about APD treatment for patients with SCZ.Trial registration Chinese Clinical Trial Registry(https://www.chictr.org.cn/),18 Aug 2009 retrospectively registered:CAPOC-ChiCTR-RNC-09000521(https://www.chictr.org.cn/showproj.aspx?proj=9014),CAPEC-ChiCTRRNC-09000522(https://www.chictr.org.cn/showproj.aspx?proj=9013).

文摘White Hypsizygus marmoreus is a popular edible mushroom. Its mycelium is easy to be contaminated by Penicillium, which leads to a decrease in its quality and yield.Penicillium could compete for limited space and nutrients through rapid growth and produce a variety of harmful gases, such as benzene, aldehydes, phenols, etc.,to inhibit the growth of H.marmoreus mycelium.A series of changes occurred in H.marmoreus proteome after contamination when detected by the label-free tandem mass spectrometry(MS/MS)technique.Some proteins with up-regulated expression worked together to participate in some processes, such as the non-toxic transformation of harmful gases, glutathione metabolism, histone modification, nucleotide excision repair, clearing misfolded proteins, and synthesizing glutamine, which were mainly used in response to biological stress. The proteins with down-regulated expression are mainly related to the processes of ribosome function, protein processing, spliceosome, carbon metabolism, glycolysis, and gluconeogenesis. The reduction in the function of these proteins affected the production of the cell components, which might be an adjustment to adapt to growth retardation. This study further enhanced the understanding of the biological stress response and the growth restriction adaptation mechanisms in edible fungi. It also provided a theoretical basis for protein function exploration and edible mushroom food safety research.

文摘To address the issues of limited demand response data, low generalization of demand response potential evaluation, and poor demand response effect, the article proposes a demand response potential feature extraction and prediction model based on data mining and a demand response potential assessment model for adjustable loads in demand response scenarios based on subjective and objective weight analysis.Firstly, based on the demand response process and demand response behavior, obtain demand response characteristics that characterize the process and behavior.Secondly, establish a feature extraction and prediction model based on data mining, including similar day clustering, time series decomposition, redundancy processing, and data prediction. The predicted values of each demand response feature on the response day are obtained.Thirdly, the predicted data of various characteristics on the response day are used as demand response potential evaluation indicators to represent different demand response scenarios and adjustable loads, and a demand response potential evaluation model based on subjective and objective weight allocation is established to calculate the demand response potential of different adjustable loads in different demand response scenarios. Finally, the effectiveness of the method proposed in the article is verified through examples, providing a reference for load aggregators to formulate demand response schemes.

文摘Human agency has become increasingly limited in complex systems with increasingly automated decision-making capabilities. For instance, human occupants are passengers and do not have direct vehicle control in fully automated cars(i.e.,driverless cars). An interesting question is whether users are responsible for the accidents of these cars.Normative ethical and legal analyses frequently argue that individuals should not bear responsibility for harm beyond their control. Here,we consider human judgment of responsibility for accidents involving fully automated cars through three studies with seven experiments(N=2668).We compared the responsibility attributed to the occupants in three conditions:an owner in his private fully automated car,a passenger in a driverless robotaxi, and a passenger in a conventional taxi, where none of these three occupants have direct vehicle control over the involved vehicles that cause identical pedestrian injury. In contrast to normative analyses,we show that the occupants of driverless cars(private cars and robotaxis)are attributed more responsibility than conventional taxi passengers. This dilemma is robust across different contexts(e.g.,participants from China vs the Republic of Korea, participants with first-vs third-person perspectives, and occupant presence vs absence).Furthermore,we observe that this is not due to the perception that these occupants have greater control over driving but because they are more expected to foresee the potential consequences of using driverless cars. Our findings suggest that when driverless vehicles(private cars and taxis)cause harm, their users may face more social pressure, which public discourse and legal regulations should manage appropriately.

文摘Blast disease, caused by the hemibiotrophic ascomycete fungus,Magnaporthe oryzae,is a significant threat to sustainable rice production worldwide.Studies have shown that the blast fungus secretes vast arrays of functionally diverse proteins into the host cell for a successful disease progression. However, the final destinations of these effector proteins inside the host cell and their role in advancing fungal pathogenesis remain a mystery. Here,we reported that a putative mitochondrial targeting non-classically secreted protein(MoMtp)positively regulates conidiogenesis and appressorium maturation in M.oryzae.Moreover,MoM TP gene deletion mutant strains triggered a hypersensitive response when inoculated on rice leaves displaying that MoMtp is essential for the virulence of M.oryzae.In addition, cell wall and oxidative stress results indicated that MoMtp is likely involved in the maintenance of the structural integrity of the fungus cell. Our study also demonstrates an upregulation in the expression pattern of the MoMTP gene at all stages of infection, indicating its possible regulatory role in host invasion and the infectious development of M.oryzae.Furthermore,Agrobacterium infiltration and sheath inoculation confirmed that MoMtpGFP protein is predominantly localized in the host mitochondria of tobacco leaf and rice cells.Taken together,we conclude that MoMtp protein likely promotes the normal conidiation and pathogenesis of M.oryzae and might have a role in disturbing the proper functioning of the host mitochondria during pathogen invasion.
