Enhancing transboundary natural tourism resources governance:unveiling the spatial pattern and its influencing factors

Tourism resources that span provincial boundaries in China play a pivotal role in regional development,yet effective governance poses persistent challenges.This study addresses this issue by constructing a comprehensive database of transboundary natural tourism resources(TNTR)through amalgamation of diverse data sources.Utilizing the Getis-Ord Gi^(*),kernel density estimation,and geographical detectors,we scrutinize the spatial patterns of TNTR,focusing on both named and unnamed entities,while exploring the influencing factors.Our findings reveal 7883 identified TNTR in China,with mountain tourism resources emerging as the predominant type.Among provinces,Hunan boasts the highest count,while Shanghai exhibits the lowest.Southern China demonstrates a pronounced clustering trend in TNTR distribution,with the spatial arrangement of biological landscapes appearing more random compared to geological and water landscapes.Western China,characterized by intricate terrain,exhibits fewer TNTR,concurrently unveiling a significant presence of unnamed natural tourism resources.Crucially,administrative segmentation influences TNTR development,generating disparities in regional goals,developmental stages and intensities,and management approaches.In response to these variations,we advocate for strengthening the naming of the unnamed transboundary tourism resources,constructing a geographic database of TNTR for government and establishing a collaborative management mechanism based on TNTR database.Our research contributes to elucidating the intricate landscape of TNTR,offering insights for tailored governance strategies in the realm of cross-provincial tourism resource management.

Development of Spring Tourism Resources in Jinan Based on RMCP Analysis

In recent years,the integrated development of culture and tourism in China has shown a promising trend,but there are still some shortcomings in the development of tourism resources.Jinan is prosperous and famous for its springs.As a landmark of Jinan,spring has played an indispensable role in Jinan’s tourism.The unique spring culture is an important component of Chinese water culture and has significant development value.At present,there is still shortcoming of spring tourism resources development in Jinan.In this paper,combining market demand and utilizing RMCP analysis,Jinan spring water resources are further analyzed and integrated,and targeted development strategies and suggestions for Jinan’s characteristic spring resources are proposed.

Using ArcGIS to Study Transportation Accessibility of Cultural Tourism Resources with Wan'an County in Jiangxi Province as an Example

This paper reviews cultural tourist attractions and transportation conditions of Wan'an County in Jiangxi Province,and calculates the accessibility and kernel density of transportation network by using ArcGIS.Through the analysis,it obtains the spatial relationship between the accessibility of Wan an County and the spatial structural characteristics of"one center,two clusters,two verticals and one horizontal"presented by the cultural tourism resources.Based on this,the paper puts forward the transportation development suggestions for the development of cultural tourism for Wan'an County.

Development of Yimeng Red Tourism Resources from the Perspective of Tourist Perception

In this paper,the connotation of red tourism is explained from a new perspective firstly.On the basis of summarizing and evaluating the red tourism resources in Yimeng,combined with the current development status of red tourism in Yimeng region,based on the subjective evaluation of tourists on the development of red tourism in Yimeng region,several targeted suggestions for the development of red tourism in Yimeng are proposed.

Development of Tourism Resources of Baimai Spring Park in Jinan City and Its Path Optimization

Tourism is gradually becoming one of the pillar industries of China s economy. Tourism resources are the premise and foundation of tourism development. It is of great significance to study the exploitation of tourism resources to promote the development of tourism. Jinan is famous for water, and Baimai Spring Park is a collection of springs in one place, with rich tourism resources. Coupled with the local government s attention to tourism, Baimai Spring Park, as a representative, has accumulated a rich tourism market foundation. With the support of policies, unique spring ecological and cultural resources and increasingly perfect location conditions, the high-quality development of tourism resources in Baimai Spring Park is particularly urgent. In this study, the present situation and problems of development of tourism resources in Baimai Spring Park were analyzed by questionnaire survey method, and corresponding optimization suggestions were put forward.

Analysis of the Spatial Structure of Tourism Resources in Ji'an City

This paper analyzed characteristics of tourism resources in Ji'an City,and carried out quantitative analysis of local tourism resources based on agglomeration effect of resources,connectivity analysis,and accessibility analysis. The results showed that the city has poor loop of tourism network,major scenic areas(spots) have moderate network accessibility,in view of this,suggestions for the optimum development of local tourism industry were proposed.

Carrying capacity of water environment in public tourism resources based on matter-element model

When water environmental carrying capacity of public resource tourist attraction is studied, the two action subjects of tourists and local residents should be discussed, and comprehensive consideration must be given to the influence of these two on water environment. On the basis of water resource carrying capacity and water quality carrying capacity, water environmental carrying capacity index of public resource tourist attraction was constructed, the model for the water environmental carrying capacity of public resource tourist attraction was established on the basis of matter-element model and analytical hierarchy process. By applying this method, water environmental carrying capacity situation of a certain public resource tourist attraction can be gained, moreover, situations about several aspects of water environmental carrying capacity can be evaluated.

Coordinated Development Mechanism for the Low-carbon Utilization and Connotative Preservation of Humanistic Tourism Resources

Low-carbon tourism is an irresistible development trend of world tourism industry, domestic and international theoretical researches and practices have remained in the exploration stage, especially function and role of humanistic tourism resources in low-carbon tourism have not been fully recognized. In this study, facility environment is regarded as the fundamental requirement of low-carbon tourism development, and humanistic elements as the connotative support. Therefore, based on exploring low-carbon utilization features and functions of humanistic tourism resources, the low-carbon techniques and models of using humanistic tourism resources were proposed, for example, designing low-carbon humanistic tourism products characterized by "inheritance + innovation"; establishing the coordinated development system for low-carbon utilization and connotative preservation of humanistic tourism resources; realizing the utilization model with low energy consumption, low emission and pollution under the premise of maintaining integrality, diversity and sustainability of humanistic tourism system, so as to enrich connotations of low-carbon tourism and bring sustainable vitality of low-carbon tourism.

Research on the Exploitation of Study Tour Resources in Mount Taishan

Mount Taishan in Taian Prefecture of Shandong Province has rich study tour resources,but its development efforts are extremely disproportionate to its status as one of the five unique mountains.Through analyzing study tour in the context of its development and study tour resources in Mount Taishan,and based on the in-depth analysis of the existing problems,the proposals for the development of resources were put forward:highlight the main line and enrich the study activities to create study bases around Mount Taishan;improve the study services through the research and development of special products;expand the publicity to promote the educational products and research products.

Tourism resource assessment and spatial analysis of wine tourism development： a case study of the eastern foothills of China＇s Helan Mountains

The reasonable development and utilization of mountainous regions closely relates to local economic development and ecological security. The wine production region in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in Ningxia, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, with its excellent terroir, is emerging as one of China's three major geographical attractions. Based on surveys of tourism resources and spatial analysis for this wine producing region, we propose a highly representative and practicable path for wine tourism development. Based on China's national standard in Classification, Investigation and Evaluation of Tourism Resources(GB/T 18972-2003), which recommended the types and grades of tourism resources in one area, we conduct an analysis of resource characteristics and the current state of development. Using Arc GIS software, spatialautocorrelation analysis, average nearest neighbor analysis, as well as clustering and outlier analysis, we are able to derive the spatial distribution characteristics of tourism resources. Our survey showed that tourism resources in this area are relatively abundant and have good quality and clear combination advantages. Nonetheless, there are resources shortage for wine tourism and poor integration of wine production with the tourism industry. Regarding the spatial distribution of resources, we revealed the current states of and issues surrounding regions with concentrated resources, as well as characteristics of this clustering. Finally, we proposed a development path for wine tourism in this region based on the five dimensions of management mode, industrial path, product development, spatial optimization, and market development.

Eco－tourism industry development──An alternative to sustainable use of landscape resources

Traditional tourism is a source of not only income and recreation but also environmental pollution and landscape resource destruction. How to leave the same or even better landscape resources to future generations is the key to sustainable development of tourism industry. Ecotourism industry could be an approach to sustainable use of landscape resources.The connotation of eco-tourism industry and its differences from the traditional tourism in resource use were given in this paper. The ecological planning for Kangyuan recreation area is taken as an example to demonstrate how to make an eco-tourism industry development plan from a system’s point of view.In terms of the characteristics of the landscape resources, advantageous geographic location and principles for eco-tourism industry development,a suitable structure of the eco-tourism industry was presented. Based on ecological suitability analysis of the landscape resource use-analysis of capacity and constraint of landscape resources, spatial distribution of the industry sectors was given.In the development process, both opportunities and risks exist, cost-benefit analysis is thus made, and cost-effective strategies and policies are provided for the eco-tourism industry development.

Karst Cave Tourism System in Zhejiang Province Based on Resource Regional Analysis

Karst cave tourism plays an important role in the overall tourism of Zhejiang Province,China.In analyzing the current status of karst cave tourism resources,it is crucial to develop a scientific system for optimizing resource exploitation and tourism development in the future.This study conducted an analysis of resource characteristics and regional structure in Zhejiang Province.Nearest neighbor index(NNI) method and accessibility index method were used for a comprehensive understanding of the effects of scale,strength,combination,and accessibility of karst cave tourism resources.Results indicated that karst cave tourism resources in Zhejiang Province have a significant regional influence,and that resource quality and exploitation are diverse in different regions.Among the regions,Jinhua had the highest exploitation proportion of over 60% and the lowest NNI value of 0.098.Furthermore,regional analysis inferred that different karst caves demonstrate diversity in accessibility to tourism markets,among which the Lingshan Cave,Fengshui Cave,and Xianqiao Cave reveal the highest accessibility index of 2.41.Finally,we put forward a karst cave tourism system in Zhejiang Province based on the Growth Pole Theory and set up an overall scheme for karst cave tourism development.From a regional perspective analysis,the study refined the methods for regional resource research and provided a strategic proposal for karst cave tourism in Zhejiang Province.

Thinking on Exploitation of Tourism Resources and Development of Tourism Industry in the Republic of Kiribati

The endowment of tourism resources is the material foundation for the development of tourism industry. However,at present,there is no special study about Kiribati’s tourism resources,landscape features,and industrial development inside and outside of Kiribati. Through review and analysis,the author believes that Kiribati’s national tourism resources are rich,distinctive and have high development potential,and it will play a major role in Kiribati’s economic and social development. Its tourism resources could be exploited from 9 aspects including characteristic geography,human landscape,ecological environment,water sports and historical sites. At present,the infrastructure such as transportation and communication in Kiribati is poor,and the tourism industry is still weak and small,remains at starting stage,lacks overall planning,and professional talents are short. In summary,it is necessary to be improved in many ways. It is recommended that Kiribati should vigorously develop cultural and educational undertakings,strengthen the infrastructure construction across the country,formulate national tourism development plans,focus on the construction of five major scenic tourist areas,and stick to the green,ecological and sustainable development principle.

Integration Path of Coastal Leisure Tourism Resources in Rizhao Based on Regional Economic Theory

Aiming at the rapid development of leisure tourism in coastal cities,the regional economic theory was first analyzed based on existing studies,the integration path of coastal leisure tourism resources in Rizhao was explored using the theory of unbalanced growth of regional economy and the theory of industrial agglomeration,and four countermeasures were proposed for the development of coastal leisure tourism in Rizhao City.

THE EVALUATION AND ANALYSIS OF THE TOURISM RESOURCES IN JILIN PROVINCE

This paper comprehensively evaluates and analyzes the tourism resources in Jilin Province, China. And it consists of three parts. The first two parts are on the resources evaluation and analysis. Based on the results of evaluation about the structural and spatial distribution of the tourism resources, it is found that, the natural resources play fundamental roles in Jilin, while the human and cultural resources are important complementary parts as well. In the spatial distribution analysis, the resources show the characteristic of "six clusters"and "three belts"spatial relations. Four clusters are centered on the cities, which are Changchun, Jilin, Baicheng, Tonghua and Ji′an; one cluster is around the Changbai Moutains and one cluster nears the frontier at Tumen between China, Russia and P.D. R. Korea. And the three belts are: 1) The west belt. It contains Xianghai and Momoge natural protection region. The evident of this zone is its ecological and ethical tourism resources. 2)The middle belt characterized by urban traveling and recreation, including Jilin and Changchun, together with their nearby Nong′an and Siping. 3) The last belt is also the most important one, which is the east zone. It covers the Changbai Mountains, the golden triangles of Tonghua and the Tumen River. This zone is remarkable for its abundant natural landscapes and unique folk customs. In the last part the concept planning is briefly constructed for the tourism resources in Jilin Province according to the above evaluation and analysis.

Development of tourism resources and environment conservation in China: with special reference to Taishan Mountain

By analyzing the cases in Taishan Mountain, Shandong Province and other tourist sites in China, this paper pointed out the problems in tourism management, such as resources damage, environment pollution, which are the result of tourism development, and are obstacles to the development. The paper also gave suggestion and practical ways to preserve tourism resources and environment.

Development of Inquiry-Based Learning Tourism Products in Binzhou from the Perspective of Tourism Resources

Under the macro-background of “all-for-one” tourism,this study analyzes the related concepts and characteristics of inquiry-based learning tourism to understand the significance and role of developing inquiry-based learning tourism in China.With Binzhou as the object of study,this study also explores the development of inquiry-based learning tourism products from the aspects of the product development idea,level,framework and marketing,with a view to providing references for implementing inquiry-based learning tourism activities in other regions.

Study on Development Potential of Tourism Resource Population in Baoji City

Based on the latest survey data of tourism resources in Baoji City,the development potential of all kinds of tourism resources was calculated by aggregation degree,superiority degree,and scale index.The results show that biological landscape(C),ruins(E)and astronomical phenomena and climate landscape(D)in Baoji City have greater development potential than other types of tourism resources;the overall development potential of tourism resources is the greatest in Meixian County,Taibai County,and Fengxian County.

Spatial Structure of Tourism Resources in Liaoning Province

Selecting fifty one 4A grade scenic spots in Liaoning Province as sample scenic spots,this paper analyzes spatial structure of tourism resources of Liaoning Province in quantitative and qualitative aspects by means of geographical and mathematical spatial analysis method. Results indicate that spatial distribution of resource type scenic spots is agglomerative,and the balance of regional distribution is not high; the degree of centralized distribution is relatively low,but it is still centralized distribution,the distribution uniformity is relatively low. Areas with high density of resource type scenic spot distribution include Shenyang,Dalian,and Dandong cities in Liaoning Province.
