To deal with the adverse influence of model failures on Kalman filtering (KF) estimation, it is necessary to investigate the generalized reliability theory, including the model failure detection and identification m...To deal with the adverse influence of model failures on Kalman filtering (KF) estimation, it is necessary to investigate the generalized reliability theory, including the model failure detection and identification method as well as the separability and reliability theories. Although the generalized reliability theory for the least square has been discussed for many decades, the generalized reliability theory of KF is not widely discussed. Compared with the least square, KF includes not only the measurement model, but also the dynamic model. In KF, the predicted value of the state parameters from the dynamic model is considered as pseudomeasurements and combined with the observed measurements to compose the form of the least square. According to the reliability of the least square, the generalized reliability of KF is derived. Then, the dynamic model failure of precise point positioning is simulated to demonstrate the usage of the generalized reliability theory. The results show that the adverse influence of the dynamic model failure is more severe than that of the measurement model. Moreover, it is recommended that the model failure identification should always be used even if the overall model test passes. It is shown that the derived generalized reliability measures are suitable for the generalized KF estimation.展开更多
To analyze main factors affecting the separation reliability between a missile and adapters for the launching process, a six DOF underwater dynamic model for the missile and adapters is utilized to simulate the separa...To analyze main factors affecting the separation reliability between a missile and adapters for the launching process, a six DOF underwater dynamic model for the missile and adapters is utilized to simulate the separation process, considering elastic forces of separating springs, hydrodynamic forces, gravity and buoyancy. Moreover, a criterion based on the maximum separating distance is put forward to determine whether adapters separate with the missile reliably. The results show that the magnitude and position of elastic force, the wedge angle and mass of the adapter significantly affect the separating process. The local sensitivity analysis for the reference status of design parameters demonstrates that the wedge angle of adapters has the maximum influence about 70. 4% on the separating distance.展开更多
The LM-5B carrier rocket is a new-generation large-scale launch vehicle developed for space station launch missions.Its separation system includes fairing separation,space station module-rocket separation,and booster ...The LM-5B carrier rocket is a new-generation large-scale launch vehicle developed for space station launch missions.Its separation system includes fairing separation,space station module-rocket separation,and booster separation.The separation systems play an important role in the design of launch vehicles,and any failure during the separation process would affect the final completion of rocket flight mission.This paper presents the reliability design and analysis for the LM-5B carrier rocket separation system.The LM-5B carrier rocket separation system was developed on the basis of the LM-5 carrier rocket separation system,inheriting its booster separation system and fairing separation system scheme,which maximizes the reliability of the separation system.The reliability of the LM-5B fairing separation system,booster separation system and space station module-rocket separation system can meet the requirements for launch missions.The demonstration results prove that redundant design of the separation systems was the most effective technical means to improve reliability.展开更多
