In a modern electrical driver, rotor field oriented control an appropriate transient response. In this method, the space (RFOC) method has been used to achieve a good performance and vector of the rotor flux comes handy by the rotor resistance value. The rotor resistance is one of the important parameters which varies according to motor speed and room temperature alteration. In this paper, a new on-line estimation method is utilized to obtain the rotor resistance by using Walsh functions domain. The Walsh functions are one of the most applicable functions in piecewise constant basis functions (PCBF) to solve dynamic equations. On the other hand, an integral operational matrix is used to simplify the process and speed of the computation algorithm. The simulations results show that the proposed method is capable of solving the dynamic equations in an electrical machine on a time interval which robustly estimates the rotor resistance in contrast with injection noises. 展开更多

The equivalent simplification of large wind farms is essential for evaluating the safety of power systems.However,sub-synchronous oscillations can significantly affect the stability of power systems.Although detailed mathematical models of wind farms can help accurately analyze the oscillation mechanism,the solution process is complicated and may lead to problems such as the“dimensional disaster.”Therefore,this paper proposes a sub-synchronous frequency domain-equivalent modeling method for wind farms based on the nature of the equivalent resistance of the rotor,in order to analyze sub-synchronous oscillations accurately.To this end,Matlab/Simulink is used to simulate a detailed model,a single-unit model,and an equivalent model,considering a wind farm as an example.A simulation analysis is then performed under the sub-synchronous frequency to prove that the model is effective and that the wind farm equivalence model method is valid. 展开更多

This paper presents a new sensorless vector controlled induction motor drive robust against rotor resistance variation. Indeed, the speed and rotor resistance are estimated using extended Kalman filter (EKF). Then, we introduce a new fuzzy logic speed controller based on learning by minimizing cost function. This strategy is based on a topology control self-organized and an algorithm for modifying the knowledge base of fuzzy corrector. The learning mechanism addresses the con- sequences of corrector rules, which are modified according to the comparison between the current speed of machine and an output signal or a desired trajectory. Thus, fuzzy associative memory is constructed to meet the criteria imposed in problems either control or pursuit. The consequent algorithm updating consists of a regulator mechanism allowing a fast and robust learning without unnecessarily compromising the control signal and steady- state performance. The performance of this new strategy is satisfactory, even in the presence of noise or when there are variations in the parameters of induction motor drive. 展开更多
