The NHase activity of the strain LUV30-06 was increased by 21.99% (3881.3 U/ml), as compared with that of R. ruber CGMCC3090 (3181.4 U/ml). The mutant strain UV30-06 has been proved genetically stable with higher NHase activity in seven successive subcultures as well as random amplified polymorphic DNA analysis (RAPD).展开更多
One new spirocyclic alkaloid,5-isopentenyl-cryptoechinuline D(1),along with 11 known compounds(2–12),were iso-lated from a marine fungus Aspergillus ruber TX-M4-1.The structures of compounds 1–12 were elucidated by ...One new spirocyclic alkaloid,5-isopentenyl-cryptoechinuline D(1),along with 11 known compounds(2–12),were iso-lated from a marine fungus Aspergillus ruber TX-M4-1.The structures of compounds 1–12 were elucidated by spectroscopic evi-dences.Compound 1 was initially isolated as an enantiomer,and further separation of 1 by chiral HPLC afforded a pair of enantio-mers,including(-)-5-isopentenyl-cryptoechinuline D(1a)and(+)-5-isopentenyl-cryptoechinuline D(1b).Their absolute configura-tions were elucidated by ECD spectroscopic data.Compounds 1a,5 and 10 could inhibit thioredoxin reductase(TrxR)activity with IC50 values of 6.2,36.3 and 18.6μmol L^(-1),respectively.Surface plasmon resonance(SPR)study also demonsrated the interactions between compounds 6,8 and Niemann-Pick C1 Like 1(NPC1L1)respectively,which indicate that compounds 6 and 8 are potential NPC1L1 inhibitors.展开更多
Planktonic foraminifer Globigerinoides ruber(white)and Trilobatus sacculifer are the most frequently used mixedlayer dwelling species for reconstructing past oceanic environments.Specifically,the Mg/Ca ratios of these...Planktonic foraminifer Globigerinoides ruber(white)and Trilobatus sacculifer are the most frequently used mixedlayer dwelling species for reconstructing past oceanic environments.Specifically,the Mg/Ca ratios of these two foraminiferal species have been used for reconstructing tropical/subtropical changes in sea surface temperature(SST).However,these two species have different morphotypes,of which the spatial and temporal differences in Mg/Ca ratios and their influencing factors are still unclear.Our objective is to investigate the potential differences between the Mg/Ca ratios of these different morphotypes of G.ruber(white)and T.sacculifer in the western Philippine Sea(WPS)and determine their implications for the reconstruction of SST and upper-ocean structure.Mg/Ca measurements are made on two basic morphotypes of G.ruber(white)[sensu stricto(s.s.)and sensu lato(s.l.)]and T.sacculifer[with(w)and without(w/o)a sac-like final chamber]on samples of Site MD06-3047B from the WPS.Our results reveal that Mg/Ca ratios of different G.ruber morphotypes show consistent differences;and those of T.sacculifer morphotypes show staged variations since MIS 3.It is suggested to select a single morphotype for reconstructing SST changes using the Mg/Ca ratios of G.ruber and T.sacculifer in the WPS.Furthermore,the Mg/Ca ratios between G.ruber s.s.and G.ruber s.l.[Δ(Mg/Ca)_(G.ruber s.s.-s.l.)]downcore MD06-3047B covaries with indexes of summer monsoon.Combining with the core-top results,showing regional variation of differences in theΔ(Mg/Ca)_(G.ruber s.s.-s.l.)over the western tropical Pacific,we propose thatΔ(Mg/Ca)_(G.ruber s.s.-s.l.)may tend to reflect summer mixed layer depth.展开更多
Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a chronic relapsing-remitting systemic disease of the gastrointestinal tract,characterized by an inflammatory process.Gut mycobiota community dysbiosis has been reported that is close...Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a chronic relapsing-remitting systemic disease of the gastrointestinal tract,characterized by an inflammatory process.Gut mycobiota community dysbiosis has been reported that is closely related to the development of IBD.Our previous findings indicated that polyphenol of the inner shell(BPIS)from foxtail millet bran could restore the gut microbiome and inhibit the progress of colorectal cancer(CRC).In the present study,we studied the anti-inflammatory potential of BPIS in the dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced mouse colitis model.Data suggested that BPIS alleviated experimental colitis by restoring body weight,colonic length and protecting the epithelial architecture from damage by DSS.Moreover,we found that BPIS strengthened the gut barrier function and inhibited the activation of Wnt1/β-catenin pathway.Gene sequence analysis indicated that BPIS remodeled the overall structure of the gut mycobiota from colitis mice toward that of the normal counterparts,including 1 phylum and 9 genera.Interestingly,BPIS significantly increased the abundance of Aspergillus ruber.It further verified that BPIS significantly promoted the growth of A.ruber in vitro.Collectively,BPIS has great potential to develop into an effective against IBD drug.展开更多
