The stability constants of Sb^5+with Cl−as well as thermodynamics of the Sb−S−Cl−H2O system were calculated.The stability constants of Sb5+with Cl−were obtained by theoretical calculations of the absorbance of a Sb5+-...The stability constants of Sb^5+with Cl−as well as thermodynamics of the Sb−S−Cl−H2O system were calculated.The stability constants of Sb5+with Cl−were obtained by theoretical calculations of the absorbance of a Sb5+-containing solution at different Cl^−concentrations,which was detected by spectrophotometric analysis at certain wavelengths of light(380 nm).The logarithmic values versus 10 of stability constants of Sb^5+with Cl−were 1.795,3.150,4.191,4.955,5.427 and 5.511,respectively,and partly filled the data gaps in the hydrometallurgy of antimony.The presence and distribution of pentavalent antimony compounds under different conditions were analyzed based on equilibrium calculations.Thermodynamic equilibrium calculations were performed for Sb−S−Cl−H2O system,which included the complex behavior of Sb with Cl,and the equilibrium equations of related reactions in this system were integrated into the potential−pH diagram.展开更多
Adding compatibilizer to polymer-modified asphalt(PMA)is an effective method to improve compatibility and performance.However,only few studies have systematically focused on how compatibilizer can affect the performan...Adding compatibilizer to polymer-modified asphalt(PMA)is an effective method to improve compatibility and performance.However,only few studies have systematically focused on how compatibilizer can affect the performance of styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS)polymer-modified asphalt(PMA).In this study,six compatibilizers with different compositions were used to prepare SBS PMA samples.Conventional performance,viscosity-temperature characteristics,viscoelastic behavior,creep properties,and morphology were investigated.The results show that adding compatibilizer to SBS PMA has a great effect on its performance.High aromatics content in compatibilizers can improve the high-temperature performance of SBS PMA,while a high saturates content can enhance the low-temperature performance.Additionally,high aromatics content in compatibilizer can increase the temperature sensitivity.While the aromatics content does improve the compatibility of SBS PMA to some extent,adding compatibilizer to SBS PMA has few effects on the microstructure.Judging from our test results,we can conclude that the optimum aromatics content for adding compatibilizer to SBS PMA ranges from 33.21%to 54.22%.展开更多

The anodic corrosion layers formed at 0.9 V for 4 h in 4.5 mol·L -1 sulfuric acid solution were in...The mechanical properties, microstructures of as-cast Pb-Sb-Re alloy and of traditional Pb-Sb alloy were studied. The anodic corrosion layers formed at 0.9 V for 4 h in 4.5 mol·L -1 sulfuric acid solution were investigated using A.C impedance. The results show that the strength of Pb-Sb-Re alloy is slightly decreased, while the tenacity is increasing rapidly, which is helpful for the later manufacture of grid alloy material, and the anodic corrosion layer of Pb-Sb-Re alloy has better conductivity than that of traditional Pb-Sb alloy. It is shown that cerium can inhibit the development of Pb(Ⅱ) compound in anodic corrosion scale, and this can compensate for the effect of premature capacity loss for the low Sb content. In addition, cerium promotes the corrosion-resistant behavior of Pb-Sb alloy with low Sb content.展开更多
