The purpose of the present study is to develop a methodology to evaluate fuel discharge through the CRGT (control-rod guide tube) during CDAs (core-disruptive accidents) of SFRs (sodium-cooled fast reactors), si...The purpose of the present study is to develop a methodology to evaluate fuel discharge through the CRGT (control-rod guide tube) during CDAs (core-disruptive accidents) of SFRs (sodium-cooled fast reactors), since fuel discharge will decrease the core reactivity and CRGTs have a potential to provide an effective discharge path. Fuel discharge contains multi-component fluid dynamics with phase changes, and, in the present study, the SFR safety analysis code SIMMER (Sn, implicit, multifield, multicomponent, Eulerian recriticality) was utilized as a technical basis. First, dominant phenomena affecting fuel discharge through the CRGT are identified based on parametric calculations by the SIMMER code. Next, validations on the code models closely relating to these phenomena were carried out based on experimental data. It was shown that the SIMMER code with some model modifications could reproduce the experimental results appropriately. Through the present study, the evaluation methodology for the molten-fuel discharge through the CRGT was successfully developed.展开更多

The cryptosystem based on Goppa code has high security, but can be achieved poor. The cryptosystems based on other error correcting codes have higher performance than Goppa code. But there are still some disadvantages to solve. At last, the paper produce an assumption of the Niederreiter cascade combination cryptosystem based on double public-keys under complex circumstances, which has higher performance and security than the traditional cryptosystems.展开更多

Safe site selection (SSS) largely depends upon compiling, analyzing , and refining the information of an area where a building is tikety to be tocated. The locationat and topographical aspects of an area located in hilly regions pray a major rote in SSS, but are generally neglected in traditional and CAD-based systems used for site setection. Architects and engineers select a site based on their judgment, knowledge, and experience, but issues related to site safety are generally ignored. This study reviewed the existing literature on site selection techniques, building codes, and approaches of existing standards to identify various aspects cruciat for SSS in hilly regions. A questionnaire survey was conducted to identify various aspects that construction professionats consider critical for SSS. This study exptored the apptication of geographic information systems (GIS) in modeting the locational and topographical aspects to identify areas of suitabitity. A GIS-based methodotogy for locating a safe site that satisfies various spatial safety aspects was devetoped.展开更多
