In this paper,the problem of guaranteed cost control and anti-windup design is studied for a class of switched systems with actuator saturation.The switching strategy and anti-windup compensator are designed to ensure the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system and to obtain the minimum upper bound of the cost function.Some sufficient conditions for the existence of an anti-windup compensator of guaranteed cost are given by using the multiple Lyapunov functions method.On this basis,the minimum upper bound of the cost function is determined by solving the optimisation problem under the constraint of linear matrix inequality(LMI).Finally,a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

In this paper,local stability and performance analysis of fractional-order linear systems with saturating elements are shown,which lead to less conservative information and data on the region of stability and the disturbance rejection.Then,a standard performance analysis and global stability by using Lyapunov’s second method are addressed,and the introduction of Lyapunov’s function candidate whose sub-level set provide stability region and performance with a restricted state space origin is also addressed.The results include both single and multiple saturation elements and can be extended to fractional-order linear systems with any nonlinear elements and nonlinear noise that satisfy Lipschitz condition.A noticeable application of these techniques is analysis of control fractional-order linear systems with saturation control inputs. 展开更多

This paper investigates both the robust semi-global leaderless consensus problem and the robust semi-global containment control problem for a group of identical linear systems with imperfect actuators. The imperfect actuators are characterized by nonlinearities such as saturation and dead zone and there input output relationships are not precisely known. The dynamics of follower agents are also affected by the input additive disturbances. Low-and-high gain feedback consensus protocols are constructed to solve these problems. More specifically, it is shown that robust semi-global leaderless consensus can be achieved over a connected undirected graph and robust semi-global containment control can be achieved when each follower agent has access to the information of at least one leader agent. Numerical simulation illustrates the theoretical results. 展开更多

This paper addresses the composite nonlinear feedback(CNF) control for a class of singleinput single-output nonlinear systems with input saturation to track a time varying reference target with good transient performance. The CNF control law consists of a tracking control law and a performance compensator. The tracking control law is designed to drive the output of the system to track the time varying reference target rapidly, while the performance compensator is used to reduce the overshoot caused by the tracking control law. The stability of the closed-loop system is established. The design procedure and the improvement of transient performance of the closed-loop system are illustrated with a numerical example and the controlled Van del Pol oscillator. 展开更多

This paper presents a gain-scheduling model predictive control(MPC) for linear parameter varying(LPV) systems subject to actuator saturation. The proposed gain-scheduling MPC algorithm is then applied to the lateral control of unmanned airship.The unmanned airship is modeled by an LPV-type system and transformed into a polytopic uncertain description with actuator saturation. By introducing a parameter-dependent state feedback law, the set invariance condition of the polytopic uncertain system is identified. Based on the invariant set, the gain-scheduling MPC controller is presented by solving a linear matrix inequality(LMI) optimization problem. The proposed gain-scheduling MPC algorithm is demonstrated by simulating on the unmanned airship system. 展开更多
