Understanding excited state and reaction intermediate during light irradiation to return to ground state may be important for such composite systems. Therefore, we investigated such optical properties for systems using time-resolved luminescence and transient absorption measurements. DMSO solutions of the four newly prepared and characterized complexes (<strong>MMn</strong><strong>, MZn, CMn,</strong> and <strong>CZn</strong>) and ethanol solutions of the composite materials of each complex with AgNPs were served for optical measurements. The time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC), the streak camera which is much shorter period of time than TCSPC and transient absorption measurement, was performed for the eight samples. The fluorescence lifetime of the sole complexes and the composite materials with AgNPs was derived from curve-fitting analysis of luminescence decay curves of TCSPC. Lifetime of the composite systems with AgNPs was longer than that of the corresponding sole metal complexes for three cases. It was revealed that composite systems may go through three reaction intermediates during relaxation from excited state to ground state. </div>展开更多

文摘The polymer-bound Schiff base ternary manganese complexes [PS-SalPhe-Mn-L(L=Phen, Bipy and 8HQ)] have been prepared from the polymer-bound Schiff base ligand, a manganese salt and the second ligand, such as 1,10-phenanthroline(phen), 2,2′-bipyridyl(bipy) and 8-quinolinol(8HQ). The polymer-bound Schiff base ternary manganese complexes were characterized by means of infrared spectrometry and ICP-AES. The catalytic activities of the complexes have been studied in the aerobic epoxidation of long-chain linear aliphatic olefins. It is shown that 1-octene or 1-decene can be directly oxidized by molecular oxygen when catalyzed by PS-SalPhe-Mn-L(L=Phen, Bipy and 8HQ), and 1,2-epoxy alkane can be afforded in these reactions.
文摘<div style="text-align:justify;"> Herein we have originally designed chiral azo-salen Mn(II) and Zn(II) complexes for interacting silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) exhibiting localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR). </div>

文摘Two new mononuclear complexes, namely [Co(L)2](1) and [Mn(L)2](2)(HL = N-(3-methylsalicylidene)tryptamine), have been synthesized by the reactions of the ligand with cobalt acetate or manganese acetate in anhydrous ethanol. The crystal structures of the complexes were characterized by IR spectrum, elemental analysis, PXRD and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a = 23.146(2), b = 9.4864(10), c = 13.9261(15)A, β = 102.898(2)°, V = 2980.6(5) ?3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.367 g/cm3, F(000) = 1284 and μ = 0.616 mm^-1. Complex 2 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/n, with a = 14.807(11), b = 13.118(10), c = 16.663(13) A, β = 111.237(14)°, V = 3017(4) A^3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.342 g/cm^3, F(000) = 1276 and μ = 0.477 mm-1. The units of complex 1 are linked by intermolecular N–H…π hydrogen bonds into infinite 1D chains, which are further extended into a 3D supramolecular structure by a series of π···π stacking interactions. The units of complex 2 are linked by intermolecular N–H…π hydrogen bonds and C–H…π hydrogen bonds into an infinite 3D supramolecular structure. Meanwhile, the antibacterial activities of the ligand and its complexes have been tested against four kinds of bacteria. The results show that the three compounds all have excellent antibacterial activities and that 1 and 2 possess stronger inhibiting effects against the bacteria than the Schiff base.

文摘A new chain-like coordination polymer, namely, [CuL]n (1, Na2L = 2-[(2-hydroxy- benzylidene)-amino]-benzenesulfonic acid sodium salt), has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 9.2296(16), b = 10.4754(18), c = 12.200(2) A, β = 102.392(2)°, V = 1152.0(3)A3, CI3H9CuNOaN, Mr = 338.83, Dc = 1.953 g/cm3, Z = 4, F(000) = 684, p = 2.089 mm-1, the final R = 0.0376 and wR = 0.0956. X-ray diffraction analyses indicate that 1 displays a square-pyramidal metal center with NO4 donor sets. The sulfonate-derived Schiff base serves as a common N,O,O'-tridentate and a unique O-bridged ligand connecting the metals. Dinuclear copper complexes serve as secondary building blocks (SBUs) to construct an unusual 2D coordination network. In the crystal, the components form a stable 3D supramolecular architecture by C-H...O interactions and to-stacking
文摘Enantiomeric four chelated planar square schiff base Cu 2+ and Ni 2+ complexes were synthesized using ( 1R,trans ) and ( 1S,trans) N,N bis(2 hydroxyphenyl methylene) 1,2 diaminocyclohexane. The chirality could not be shown by usual UV Vis spectra. The intrinsic chiral difference of the enantiomeric complexes can be displayed by circular dichroism(CD) spectra. The Cotton effect of every polarlight sensitive absorption of one enantiomer will be the opposite of that of the other enantiomer. It was found that no tetrahedron form exists for Ni 2+ complexes, which was determined with UV Vis spectra and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance(EPR) measures.

文摘A new complex [Mn(L)(NCS)]2·0.5CH3CN (H2L = N,N'-bis(chlorosalicylidene)-1,2-diaminoethane) has been synthesized, and its structure (C70H51Cl8Mn4N13O8S4,Mr = 1833.84) was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal belongs to the monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 25.883(2),b = 12.3320(13),c = 13.5951(16) ,β = 112.906(2),V = 3997.2(7) 3,Z = 2,Dc = 1.524 g/cm3,μ(MoKα) = 1.050mm-1,F(000) = 1852,S = 1.098,the final R = 0.0630 and wR = 0.1847 for 2542 reflections with Ⅰ 〉 2σ(Ⅰ). The centrosymmetric title complex contains a dimer in which two distorted octahedral Mn(Ⅲ) centers are bridged equatorially by phenolic oxygen of the Schiff base ligand. The units of the complex are linked via weak C-H···N hydrogen bonds, leading to the formation of 1D chains along the b axis. The weak π-π packing interactions and weak intermolecular C(3)-H(3)···N(3) hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal structure.

文摘Two cobalt(Ⅱ) complexes of the Schiff base with morpholino or aza-crown ether pendants, CoL^1 and CoL^2, as mimic hydrolytic metalloenzyme, were used in catalytic hydrolysis of carboxylic ester (PNPP). The analysis of specific absorption spectra of the hydrolytic reaction systems indicates that key intermediates, made up of PNPP and Co(Ⅱ) complexes, have been formed in reaction processes of the PNPP catalytic hydrolysis. The mechanism of PNPP catalytic hydrolysis has been proposed based on the analytic result of specific absorption spectrum. A kinetic mathematical model, applied to the calculation of the kinetic parameter of PNPP catalytic hydrolysis, has been established based on the mechanism proposed. The acid effect of buffer solution, structural effect of the complexes, and effect of temperature on the rate of PNPP hydrolysis catalyzed by the complexes have been also discussed.

文摘Three novel Schiff base cobalt(Ⅱ) complexes containing benzoaza-15-crown-5, CoL^1, CoL^2 and CoL^3 were synthesized and characterized, and these complexes were used in catalytic hydrolysis of carboxylic ester (PNPP, p-nitrophenyl picolinate) as mimic hydrolytic metalloenzyme. The analysis of specific absorption spectra of the hydrolytic reaction systems indicated that the catalytic hydrolysis involved the key intermediates formed by PNPP with cobalt(Ⅱ) complexes. The CoL^3 bearing the electron withdrawing group shows better catalytic activity due to its stabilization effect on active species MLS^-. The catalytic mechanism of PNPP hydrolysis was also proposed. The kinetic parameter of PNPP catalytic hydrolysis has been calculated and the activation energy for the catalytic hydrolysis is 43.69, 39.76 and 35.44 kJ·mol^-1, respectively.
