The Association between Exposure to Second-Hand Smoke and Disease in the Chinese Population: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Objective To analyze the association between exposure to second-hand smoke(SHS) and 23 diseases,categorized into four classifications, among the Chinese population.Methods We searched the literature up to June 30, 2021, and eligible studies were identified according to the PECOS format: Participants and Competitors(Chinese population), Exposure(SHS),Outcomes(Disease or Death), and Study design(Case-control or Cohort).Results In total, 53 studies were selected. The odds ratio(OR) for all types of cancer was 1.79(1.56–2.05), and for individual cancers was 1.92(1.42–2.59) for lung cancer, 1.57(1.40–1.76) for breast cancer, 1.52(1.12–2.05) for bladder cancer, and 1.37(1.08–1.73) for liver cancer. The OR for circulatory system diseases was 1.92(1.29–2.85), with a value of 2.29(1.26–4.159) for stroke. The OR of respiratory system diseases was 1.76(1.13–2.74), with a value of 1.82(1.07–3.11) for childhood asthma. The original ORs were also shown for other diseases. Subgroup analyses were performed for lung and breast cancer. The ORs varied according to time period and were significant during exposure in the household;For lung cancer, the OR was significant in women.Conclusion The effect of SHS exposure in China was similar to that in Western countries, but its definition and characterization require further clarification. Studies on the association between SHS exposure and certain diseases with high incidence rates are insufficient.

Optimization of post-warranty sequential inspection for second-hand products

This paper considers an optimal sequential inspection schedule for a second-hand product after that the free nonrenewable warranty is expired. The length of warranty is prespecified and during the warranty period, the product is minimally repaired by the dealer when it fails. Following the expiration of the non-renewing warranty, the product is inspected and upgraded sequentially a fixed number of times at the expenses of the customer.At each inspection, the failure rate of the product is reduced proportionally so that the product is upgraded. The product is assumed to deteriorate as it ages and the replacement of the product occurs when a fixed number of inspections are rendered. In addition,the intervals between two successive inspections are assumed to decrease monotonically. The main objective of this paper is to determine the optimal improvement level to upgrade the product at each inspection so that the expected maintenance cost during the life cycle of the product is minimized from the perspective of the customer. Under the given cost structures, we derive an explicit formula to obtain the expected maintenance cost incurred during the life cycle of the product and discuss the method to find the optimal level of the improvement analytically in case the failure times follow the Weibull distribution. Numerical results are analyzed to observe the impact of relevant parameters on the optimal solution.

In order to study the current situation and operation mode of second-hand clothing brand in Europe,this paper makes a field investigation on the second-hand clothing shops in European countries.Through classification of the inspected shops,five representative brands with certain popularity and influence and different operation modes in Europe are selected out from high-grade antique boutiques,non-profit charity organizations,professional retailers and middle-grade consignment shops in the second-hand clothing market.This paper analyzes and discusses the development history of stores,the source of goods,the form of stores,and the operation mode,so as to provide a reference for the development and standardization of the second-hand clothing market in China.

Analysis of Factors Influencing Second-hand Housing Prices in Beijing based on Hierarchical Linear Model

In recent years,housing prices have attracted widespread attention,and the fluctuation of housing prices is due to a combination of many factors.In addition to the characteristics of the house itself,the price of a house is also affected by other factors,such as the community in which the house is located.This article used Beijing’s 2017 second-hand housing transaction data (based on second-hand housing transaction records on Lianjia.com),introduced a hierarchical linear model,and employed Stata software to analyze from different levels.It is intended to find the correlation between housing prices and different levels of characteristics,so to pin down the factors that affect prices of the second-hand housing.

Univariate Time-Series Analysis of Second-Hand Car Importation in Zambia

Zambia largely depends on the international second-hand car (SHC) market for their motor vehicle supply. The importation of Second hand Cars in Zambia presents a time series problem. The data used in this paper is monthly data on SHC importation from 1st January, 2014 to 31st December, 2016. Data was analyzed using Exponential Smoothing (ES) and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) models. The results showed that ARIMA (2, 1, 2) was the best fit for the SHC importation since its errors were smaller than those of the SES, DES and TES. The four error measures used were Root-mean-square error (RMSE), Mean absolute error (MAE), Mean percentage error (MPE) and Mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). The forecasts were also produced using the ARIMA (2, 1, 2) model for the next 18 months from January 2017. Although there is percentage increase of 90.6% from November 2015 to December 2016, the SHC importation generally is on the decrease in Zambia with percentage change of 59.5% from January 2014 to December 2016. The forecasts also show a gradual percentage decrease of 1.12% by June 2018. These results are more useful to policy and decision makers of Government departments such as Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) and Road Development Agency (RDA) in a bid to plan and execute their duties effectively.

徒手旋转胎头术在头位难产产妇第二产程分娩中的协助应用观察

目的:分析徒手旋转胎头术在头位难产产妇第二产程分娩中的协助应用效果。方法:回顾性分析2020年1月至2023年12月于本院分娩的56例头位难产产妇资料,依据第二产程是否使用徒手旋转胎头术分为两组,各28例。对照组采取传统第二产程分娩助产护理,观察组采取第二产程徒手旋转胎头术,统计产程总时间、新生儿神经行为评分、分娩结局并进行对比。结果:观察组的第二分娩产程明显短于对照组,观察组产程总时间明显短于对照组(P<0.05),第一和第三产程两组无明显统计差异(P>0.05);观察组新生儿神经行为各项评分均高于对照组(P<0.05);观察组阴道裂伤、新生儿窒息及产后出血率均低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:第二产程徒手旋转胎头术的运用能够改善头位难产产妇分娩结局、促进新生儿神经行为发育、缩短产程总时间,具有一定的推广使用价值。

二手市场中的假冒现象屡见不鲜,区块链技术的溯源功能可解决这一问题,但是在区块链发展初期,无法完全保证链上信息的真实性并且采用区块链技术需要成本.该文构建了由销售正品的高质量卖家和销售仿冒品的低质量卖家组成的Stackelberg博弈.分析了卖家的最优策略:两个卖家都不采用区块链技术(NN模型),只有高质量卖家采用区块链技术(BN模型),两个卖家都采用区块链技术(BB模型).研究发现低质量卖家在一定条件下也会采用区块链技术,并且能够促进高质量卖家披露更多的产品信息.数值实验表明,当高质量卖家和低质量卖家都采用区块链技术时消费者剩余最大.

基于PSO-LSTM的区域二手房价预测方法研究

探究房价趋势是一个高度复杂且充满非线性特征的研究难题。针对目前二手房价预测精度低的问题,文章提出了基于PSO-LSTM的区域二手房价预测方法。粒子群算法通过对LSTM模型进行优化,找到最优的参数组带入PSO-LSTM模型中,进而得到更符合实际情况的预测结果。文章通过湖南省株洲市天元区的二手房价时间序列数据集对PSO-LSTM模型进行训练,并与LSTM神经网络模型进行了对照分析。实验结果显示,PSO-LSTM模型对于区域二手房价的预测精度更优。

闲置物品智能交易平台使用意愿与设计研究

文章旨在探讨闲置物品智能交易平台使用意愿的影响因素以及设计思路。本研究以UTAUT模型为基础,采用问卷法,通过SmartPLS4.0进行偏最小二乘法结构方程(PLS-SEM)分析,结果表明:付出期望、绩效期望对使用意愿有显著正向作用,物流服务对参与频率有显著促进作用;供需匹配、物流服务均对付出期望和绩效期望有显著正向作用,并通过中介效应影响使用意愿;感知风险对线下参与意愿有显著促进作用,对参与频率有显著抑制作用。本文提出了闲置物品智能交易平台的优化建议,如高效的供需关系的匹配机制、信息标签设计规范化、正向影响因子可视化、风险可视化、线上线下相结合、多方联动等,为闲置物品智能交易平台的设计改良提供理论依据与实践思路。

与其他专有名词的翻译方法不同,二手专有名词只能音译。文章以认知语法的象征观为理论框架,通过阐释二手专有名词在音位极和语义极层面的语法配价关系,解析二手专有名词适用音译原则的认知动因。研究发现:(1)二手专有名词的语言特征是词性混搭和语义混搭;(2)在音义象征关系中,二手专有名词缺失一个整合和两个合成核心环节,致使语义消减的同时凸显语音;(3)汉语和外来语的表意和表音冲突是二手专有名词音译的深层根源。研究表明,音义象征观能够对二手专有名词的音译提供较为合理的认知动因解释。

税收补贴政策下考虑二手市场电子产品回收供应链成员的博弈策略研究

考虑由一个制造商、一个回收商及二手市场组成的两层供应链结构,分别构建了仅回收商回收的决策模型、回收商回收与二手市场交易共存的决策模型,基于消费者效用分析了供应链成员的最优产品定价策略,探讨了二手市场的引入对电子产品回收供应链成员决策及税收补贴政策设计的影响。结果显示:在一定条件下,二手市场交易的竞争一方面使消费者在电子产品回收中获益,另一方面也提高了制造商的利润及政府税收补贴剩余。但是,二手市场交易的竞争致使回收商的利润降低,政府可以适当提高对回收商的产品回收补贴来增强回收商的竞争力,降低回收商的利润损失。此外,本文证明了从社会总福利的角度看待开发二手市场是大有裨益的。
