Analysis on the consumers＇ choices and the equilibrium in durable market which includes secondary markets

This paper presents a framework to study consumers＇ behaviors and the equilibrium in a durable market which includes secondary markets. The author puts forward a two-period model extending the Tirole＇s literature, and analyzes the equilibrium in the used durable market under perfect and imperfect information. Moreover, the conclusion shows the important role of information to consumers＇ behaviors and the equilibrium in the entire market.

Technical Notes:STUDIES ON THE VALUE OF SECONDARY MARKET TO THE SUPPLY CHAIN

This paper investigates the impact of a secondary market, where retailers can buy and sell excess inventories, on the supply chain. We develop a two-period model with a single manufacturer and two retailers. At the beginning of the first period the retailers order and receive products from the manufacturer, but at the beginning of the second period, they can trade surplus products between themselves in the secondary market. We investigate the impact of the correlated dependence of retailers' demand on both the quantity effect and the allocation effect under the secondary market. Lastly, we study potential strategies for the manufacturer to increase sales with the existence of the secondary market.

Novel pricing model for spectrum leasing in secondary spectrum market

According to the property rights model of cognitive radio,primary users who own the spectral resource have the right to lease or trade part of it to secondary users in exchange for appropriate profit.In this paper,an implementation of this framework is investigated,where a primary link can lease the owned spectrum to secondary nodes in exchange for cooperation （relaying）.A novel pricing model is proposed that enables the trading between spectrum and cooperation.Based on the demand of secondary nodes,the primary link attempts to maximize its quality of service （QoS） by setting the price of spectrum.Taking the price asked by primary link,the secondary nodes aim to obtain most profits by deciding the amount of spectrum to buy and then pay for it by cooperative transmission.The investigated model is conveniently cast in the framework of seller/buyer （Stackelberg） games.Analysis and numerical results show that our pricing model is effective and practical for spectrum leasing based on trading spectral resource for cooperation.

Since ＂Heroes＂ ＇ s success in 2002, local blockbusters has found its own way to make profit. ＂Make big movie, earn big money＂ has become an indisputable fact. Coupled with the subsequent ＂Still Life＂ who has won international awards, plus, a large number of small and medium cost movies such as ＂Nintendogs＂ , ＂utter confusion＂ , ＂My name is Liu Yuejin＂ , ＂year-round,＂ and so on has won huge applauses from the audiences, the small and medium budget movies become a dazzling landscape in the whole movie market. Since then, discussions about such movie became one of the hottest debated topics in the movie industry.

Regulation of the Warsaw Stock Exchange： History and Operating Rules

The aim of this article is to present the principles of the operation of the Warsaw Stock Exchange （WSE）, which is the most important institution of the capital market in Poland. The article is an attempt to explore the history and structure of the exchange and its investment possibilities in order to understand the number of existing security features which make cooperation with this institution-with appropriate assumptions and diversification-an activity providing profits to potential investors who are aware of its operating rules. This topic deserves a historical outline because of the socialist past and the current status of the WSE, now called the most dynamically growing capital market in Central and Eastern Europe.

Biding strategy of vehicle parking for participating in energy and spinning reserve markets

In this paper a model for suggesting a smart parking that involves a set of electric cars is presented to auction the management ability and correct parking planning in reserve spinning market, secondary energy market and grid. Parking interest under various scenarios is analyzed and its effective results are presented by a valid model. Besides, particle swarm optimization algorithm is used for calculating maximum benefit.

ON MANAGERIAL DECISION PROBLEM OF THE AUCTION SITES*

This paper studies one managerial decision problem of the auction sites： how to combine penalties with commissions？ It is shown that when there exists secondary auction market, the auction whose penalty is a linear function of the seller＇s commission will be more efficient than the auction with only commissions but no penalties. It has also been proven that using this strategy can maximize the expected revenue for the seller, the auction site and their total expected revenues.
