These rul...Based on the working of Lighthill and Hunt et al., in the present paper the author has established the topological rules adapting to analysing the skin-friction lines and the section streamlines in cascades. These rules are (1) for a rotor cascade without shroud band, the total number of nodal points equals that the saddle points on the skin-friction line vector fields in eachpitch range; (2) for an annular or straight cascade with no-clearances at blade ends, the total number of saddle points is two more than that of nodal points on the skin-friction line fields in a pitch; (3) the total number of saddles in the secondary flow fields on cross-sections in cascade is one less than that of nodes; (4) in the section streamline vector fields on a meridian surface penetrating a flow passage, and on leading and trailing edge sections, the total number of nodes is equal to that of saddles; (5) on the streamline vector fields of a blade-to-blade surface, the total number of nodes is one less than that of saddles.展开更多

Although the system parameters may be tuned very well, due to the machine and...In steel plants, estimation of the production system characteristic is highly critical to adjust the system parameters for best efficiency. Although the system parameters may be tuned very well, due to the machine and human factors involved in the production line some deficiencies may occur in product. It is important to detect such problems as early as possible. Surface defects and dimensional deviations are the most important quality problems. In this study, it is aimed to develop an approach to measure the dimensions of metal profiles by obtaining images of them. This will be of use in detecting the deviations in dimensions. A platform was introduced to simulate the real-time environment and images were taken from the metal profile using 4 laser light sources. The shape of the material is generated by combining the images taken from different cameras. Real dimensions were obtained by using image processing and mathematical conversion operations on the images. The results obtained with small deviations from the real values showed that this method can be applied in a real-time production line.展开更多

Taking the large section tun...In order to study the stress characteristics of the initial support and secondary lining of the large section tunnel and to solve the problem of secondary lining cracking during operation. Taking the large section tunnel in Zihong village, Qi County as the research object, a numerical simulation method was used to establish a finite element model of the large section tunnel. So as to simulate and analyze the stress characteristics of the support structure of this tunnel. Through the simulation of the initial support and second lining of this large section tunnel in terms of displacement, stress, plastic zone damage and anchor shaft force, the results show that as the excavation progresses, the stress and displacement on the surface of the newly excavated tunnel profile is faster, especially at the side walls and arch footings, the stress and displacement values are slightly larger than other characteristic points, but the final values are stable and converge, and are basically consistent with the field monitoring results, which indicates that this support system is basically in stable state. Therefore, during the tunnel excavation and support process, special attention should be paid to the stability of the sidewalls and footings, and the results of this study will be of great practical significance for tunnel construction and maintenance.展开更多
以整体优化抬落道量最小为目标进行纵断面重构时,由于纵断面整体优化中各线元数学模型不同,拟合后的线元连接处会存在错位现象,不满足相邻线元首尾相接的平顺性条件。因此,本文提出了利用引入相切条件的方向加速(Powell with Tangent Co...以整体优化抬落道量最小为目标进行纵断面重构时,由于纵断面整体优化中各线元数学模型不同,拟合后的线元连接处会存在错位现象,不满足相邻线元首尾相接的平顺性条件。因此,本文提出了利用引入相切条件的方向加速(Powell with Tangent Condition,PTC)法来重构纵断面线形。首先利用方向加速(Powell)法进行各线元拟合优化,然后对竖曲线圆心坐标进行调整,通过调整后的圆心坐标重新计算纵断面竖曲线半径及直圆点和圆直点坐标,使竖曲线与左右两侧相邻直线坡段相切。对比利用PTC法与传统的曲率分段结合最小二乘法重构线形的抬落道量,结果表明,PTC法对线路重构的扰动更小,优化效果更好,在减小抬落道方面有显著优势。通过动力学仿真对比Powell法和PTC法优化线形后的车体动力学指标,结果表明,PTC法重构纵断面所得的线元连接处平顺性显著提高,各车体动力学性能指标明显减小,车辆运行的安全性和舒适性得到明显改善。展开更多
