Energy Security Planning for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles in Large-Scale Events:A Case Study of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics

Energy security planning is fundamental to safeguarding the traffic operation in large-scale events.To guarantee the promo-tion of green,zero-carbon,and environmental-friendly hydrogen fuel cell vehicles(HFCVs)in large-scale events,a five-stage planning method is proposed considering the demand and supply potential of hydrogen energy.Specifically,to meet the requirements of the large-scale events’demand,a new calculation approach is proposed to calculate the hydrogen amount and the distribution of hydrogen stations.In addition,energy supply is guaranteed from four aspects,namely hydrogen produc-tion,hydrogen storage,hydrogen delivery,and hydrogen refueling.The emergency plan is established based on the overall support plan,which can realize multi-dimensional energy security.Furthermore,the planning method is demonstrative as it powers the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics as the first“green”Olympic,providing both theoretical and practical evidence for the energy security planning of large-scale events.This study provides suggestions about ensuring the energy demand after the race,broadening the application scenarios,and accelerating the application of HFCVs.

The Role of Information Security Development （ISD） in Effective Information Security Management （ISM） Implementation in the Banks： A Nigerian Case

This research discusses the role of information security development （ISD） using organizational factors such as information security plans, information security awareness, perceived quality training programs, information security policies and procedures, and organizational culture in effective information security management （ISM） implementation in the banks （a Nigerian case）. This paper explores the existing literature and a proposed framework that consists of ISD such as information security plans, information security awareness, perceived quality training programs, information security policies and procedures, and organizational culture in ISM implementation. ISD factors are found to be statistically significant, because it motivates an organization to implement effective ISM in the banks. Hence, it could be said that the role of ISD practices in an effective implementation of ISM among banks in Nigeria will be of great value.

Some Observations on The U.S.Greater Central Asia Security Strategy Planning

The United States is shaping a Central Asian Security Strategy Planning with priority on economics and trade. In area of economics and trade, it pushes on the U.S.-Central Asian trade and investment framework agreement, focusing on developing trade in greater Central Asian region so as to encourage the regional countries to lower trade barriers and to advance reconfiguration of the regional countries and Afghanistan neighboring areas. In area of energy, it builds a greater Central Asian transportation network composed of highway, railway, natural gas-pipeline and electricity grid line to boom the regional trade and economy. In area of anti-terrorism, it strengthens security cooperation with the Central Asian countries. Meanwhile, it also pushes forward a multi-lateral security mechanism, increases economic aid, and promotes regional cooperation so as to achieve the regional lasting peace.
