Influence of selective atomic measurement on the entanglement properties of a two-atom outside cavity

Considering three two-level atoms initially in the W or Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger （GHZ） state, one of the three atoms is put into an initially coherent light cavity and made to resonantly interact with the cavity. The twoatom entanglement evolution outside the cavity is investigated. The influences of state-selective measurement of the atom inside the cavity and strength of the light field on the two-atom entanglement evolution outside the cavity are discussed. The results obtained from the numerical method show that the two-atom entanglement outside the cavity is strengthened through state-selective measurement of the atom inside the cavity. In addition, the strength of the light field also influences the two-atom entanglement properties.

Measurement of Ion Mobilities of Selected Amines by Ion Mobility Spectrometry

The ion mobilities of selected amines were measured by IMS. The minimum detection limits and linear ranges of selected amines were detected.

Nonclassical properties in the resonant interaction of a three level ∧-type atom with two-mode field in coherent state

In this paper, we study the nonclassical properties of the electromagnetic field resulting from the interaction of a three-level ∧-type atom with a two-mode field initially in the coherent state, such as squeezing properties and sub-Poisson statistics. We show that the squeezing can be enhanced by selective atomic measurement.

Criterions and Measures of Route Selection of Shallowly Embedded Long-Distance Oil and Gas Pipeline in Mountain Areas

According to the engineering investigation of long-distance oil and gas pipelines, the criterions and measures of route selection are drawn as follows： the flat landform is the first choice in route alignment. The foot of mountain is the first choice when the route passes by the valley. The route should pass by but the shady and deposited slope and not in sunny and erosive slope as possible as it can. The pipeline should be vertical to contour climbing and descending the mountain except steep slope. Tunnel can be used in crossing foothill. Perpendicularly traversing the river is better than beveling; the worst choice is to put the pipeline along the river. Bypass is the best choice in karsts area. The order of route selection should be pre-choosing, investigation, optimization and adjustment.

ON NONLINEAR ELLIPTIC HEMIVARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES OF SECOND ORDER

In this paper, a nonlinear hemivariational inequality of second order with a forcing term of subcritical growth is studied. Using techniques from multivalued analysis and the theory of nonlinear operators of monotone type, an existence theorem for the Dirichlet boundary value problem is proved.

Measurement of the wavelength modulation indices with selective reflection spectroscopy

The wavelength modulation indices are measured based on harmonic amplitude ratio of 4famp/6famp (4famp and 6famp are the 4- and 6-th harmonic central peak amplitudes correspondingly) with the Doppler-free selective reflection modulation spectroscopy. The experiments for the 6S1/2(F = 4) → 6P3/2(F' = 5) transition of cesium D2 line with 30-MHz linewidth were carried out. The 4f- and 6f-harmonic signals were detected with two digital lock-in amplifiers separately. The maximum error for modulation indices measurement was ±0.1 within the range of m from 3 to 6. The non-linear modulation behaviour of an external cavity diode laser induced by voltage tuning was studied with this method. The method for modulation indices measurement does not require a solid etalon as usual for measuring the wavelength modulation depth and the absorption linewidth correspondingly.

Framework Development Using Data Mining Techniques to Predict Mortality Risk during Pandemic

The corona virus, which causes the respiratory infection Covid-19, was first detected in late 2019. It then spread quickly across the globe in the first months of 2020, reaching more than 15 million confirmed cases by the second half of July. This global impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) requires accurate forecasting about the spread of confirmed cases as well as continuation of analysis of the number of deaths and recoveries. Forecasting requires a huge amount of data. At the same time, forecasts are highly influenced by the reliability of the data, vested interests, and what variables are being predicted. Again, human behavior plays an important role in efficiently controling the spread of novel coronavirus. This paper introduces a sustainable approach for predicting the mortality risk during the pandemic to help medical decision making and raise public health awareness. This paper describes the range of symptoms for corona virus suffered patients and the ways of predicting patient mortality rate based on their symptoms.

A study of ion exchange selectivity coefficient by cyclic voltammetric measurement

An equation to express ion exchange selectivity coefficient was derived and used for cal- culating that of PPY film with the results obtained by cyclic voltamrnetric measurement.PPY film was synthesized by electrochemical method in aqueous solution using K_4Fc(CN)_6 as supporting electrolyte, and the anions were doped into the film.Ion exchange behaviour of doped Fe(CN)_6^(3-/4-)in the PPY film with Cl^-,NO_3^- or F^- ions in solution has been studied,and the corresponding ion exchange selec- tivity coefficients were determined.

Impulsive Boundary Value Problems for First-order Ordinary Differential Inclusions

In this paper, we investigate the existence of solutions for impulsive first order ordinary differential inclusions which admitting nonconvex valued right hand side. We present two classes of results. In the first one, we rely on a fixed point theorem for contraction multivalued maps due to Covitz and Nadler, and for the second one, we use Schacfer＇s fixed point theorem combined with lower semi-continuous multivalued operators with decomposable values under weaker conditions.
