A robust microporous praseodymium-organic framework,{[Pr3(NTB)3(H2O)3]·(DMF)3(H2O)4}n(Pr-NTB,1),was solvothermally synthesized based on 4,4′,4″-nitrilotribenzoic acid(H3 NTB)and fully characterized.Single-cryst... A robust microporous praseodymium-organic framework,{[Pr3(NTB)3(H2O)3]·(DMF)3(H2O)4}n(Pr-NTB,1),was solvothermally synthesized based on 4,4′,4″-nitrilotribenzoic acid(H3 NTB)and fully characterized.Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals compound 1 possesses a three-dimensional porous coordination network,in which discrete cages are connected through microporous windows.1 shows extraordinary thermal and water stability;in particular,it is stable in aqueous media from pH=3 to 11,which is outstanding in benzyl-carboxylate based MOFs.Furthermore,1 exhibits permanent porosity with the BET surface area of 156.2 m^2·g^-1 and can adsorb suitable CO2(1.14 mmol·g^-1 at 273K/1 bar)with isosteric heat of adsorption(Q(st))of 28.5 kJ·mol^-1.These features suggest that the porous material 1 is a good candidate for CO2 capture in real-world application.Notably,the integration of fluorescent property,porosity and water stability in 1 promises it as a selective fluorescent sensor for Fe^3+cation in water. 展开更多

A microporous luminescent metal-organic framework [Zn4L2(H2O)2]'(H2O)m(DMA)n (1) (H4L=5,5'-((1H-pyrazole-3,5-di- carbonyl)bis(azanediyl))diisophthalic acid, DMA=N,N-dimethylacetamide) was synthesized and characterized by infrared ra- diation (IR), thermogravimetric analyses (TGA), powder X-ray diffraction spectra (PXRD) and X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 has a three dimensional (3D) framework, which can be simplified as 5,5,5,5-c net with the Schlafi symbol of {43.64.83} {44.65.8 } {45.65 }2. This luminescent metal-organic framework (MOF) shows selectively sensitive to nitrobenzene and series of nitroaromatic explosives such as 4-nitrotoluene, 1,4-dinitrobenzene, 1,3-dinitrobenzene and 2,4-dinitrotoluene, and exhibits well recyclability. So complex 1 could be used to detect nitroaromatic explosives as a selective sensing material. 展开更多

We herein report a new lanthanide metal-organic framework(MOF) that exhibits excellent chemical stability,especially in the aqueous solution over a wide pH range from 1 to 14.In contrast to many reported lanthanide MOFs,this Tb-based MOF emits cyan fluorescence inherited from the integrated AIEactive ligand,rather than Ln3+ ions.More remarkably,its fluorescence signal features a highly selective and sensitive "turn-off" response toward CrO_(4)^(2-),Cr_(2)O_(7)^(2- )and Fe^(3+) ions,highlighted with the low detection limits down to 68.18,69.85 and 138.8 ppm,respectively.Thus,the exceptional structural stability and sensing performance render this material able to be a superior luminescent sensor for heavy metal ions in wastewater. 展开更多

Saccharide sensing is a very meaningful research topic as saccharides are involved in many biological activities.However,it is challenging to design molecular sensors for saccharides because this family of compounds is hydromimetic in aqueous solutions and shares a similar chemical structure.In this review,research progress in the development of porphyrin-based saccharide sensors is described with representative examples.We focus on using porphyrin as the signal reporter because porphyrins exhibit unique advantages in high chemical stability,long emission wavelength,and multiple structural modification strategies.Reported literature results have been classified into mainly two sections according to the general working principles of the porphyrin sensor molecules.In the first section,recognition unit,design strategy and sensing performance of traditional porphyrin-based selective saccharide sensors are discussed.While in the second section,development of porphyrin-based sensor arrays for pattern recognition of saccharides has been summarized.Looking through the design strategy and sensing performance of reported achievements,it is reasonable to anticipate a bright future for designing practical porphyrin-based saccharide sensors. 展开更多
