Methods Five hundred and sixty pupils graded from 1 to 6 in an elementary school were investigated. According to the pupil rating scale revised screening for learning disabilities (PRS), combined Raven’s test (CRT) and achievement of main courses, 35 of 560 pupils were diagnosed as LD children. Thirty-five children were selected from the average children and 35 from advanced children in academic achievement equally matched in class, gender, and age with LD children as control groups. The three groups were tested by Piers-Harris children’s self-concept scale. Basic information of each subject was collected by self-made questionnaire. Results Compared with the average and advanced children, LD children got significantly lower scores in self-concept scale. Based on logistic regression analysis, 3 factors were identified, including family income per month, single child and delivery model. Conclusion The results suggest that self-consciousness of children with LD is lower than that of normal children.展开更多

The latter holds that Damasio does not distinguish the concepts of phenomenal consciousness and self-consciousness and this has two kinds of consequences. One is that it cannot satisfactorily explain certain mental states (dreams, vegetative states); the other is that it has harmful consequences for animal ethics. I maintain that to compare the two theories we can only rely on our pre-theoretical intuition of consciousness. Thus, I argue that Dam^tsio's theory combines more with our intuitions. One of the reasons is that the cases that Block describes as phenomenal consciousness without access consciousness (and without self-consciousness) are best explained as being cases of mind without consciousness. Dam^sio's theory can also explain those referred cases which are theoretically problematic. Moreover, Dam^isio has a threshold model (an expression by Barry Dainton), which is something that Block seems to ignore. This model fits well with the intuitions and neurological knowledge that we normally have on animal consciousness. Dam^isio's core self and his theory of emotions and feelings allow us to understand why we feel compassion for animals. Therefore, we are able to develop an animal ethics, which does not mean that we are required to do so. So even though Damasio does not solve the mystery of consciousness, he should not be the subject of Block's criticism.展开更多

文摘The paper is aimed at presentation of the two basic ways of human cognition, which have been used for ages to get to the essence of the human phenomenon of sport and tourism. The first of them is connected mainly with the commonplace standpoint on sport, which is considerably more popular and known by modern people than the second-the philosophical one.The latter is usually used as a point of departure for objective, methodical, and purposeful attempts at getting to the very essence of sport through systematic research, various ideological disputes, various publications, etc.Hence the basic aim of the paper is an attempt at answering the question:which of the abovementioned ways-if any-leads to the final explanation of the essence of sport and tourism? It requires however further philosophical research, further comparative studies, detailed systematic analyses, etc.,and the presented paper is only an initial contribution to them.
文摘At the end of the Ming Dynasty and at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty,a new theory of learning was created-Muslim Confucian Study(Chinese Islamic Philosophy)-on the basis of Islamic philosophy and under the influence of Confucianism.Wang Daiyu(1570-1660)and Liu Zhi(1660-1739)were two great Huiru(Muslim Confucian)scholars at that time. They published Zhengjiao zhenquan(The real commentary on the tire teaching),Tianfang xingli(Nature and principle in Islam)major books.Their approach is distinguished from that of other Muslim scholars in that they addressed the basic articles of Islamic thought with Confucian terminology and categories. The study deals with the Islamic worldview, and with the practices that make it possible for people to bring themselves into conformity with that worldview. However, the teaching of the Muslim Confucian was continuous with those of Mainstream Islam. In my research,I attempted to answer two questions:(a)How did Muslim Confucian Study Inherit the Mainstream Islamic Thought?(b)What is the value and contribution of the World Islamic philology and civilization?

文摘The philosophical foundation of the mainstream neoclassical economics is empirical philosophy. The controversies of economic methodology over inductive and deductive methods, over verificationistic and falsificationistic approaches, and over positive and normative analyses in the evolution of economics are associated with those in the philosophy of science. The evolution of philosophy of science suggests that the above-mentioned pairs of economic methodologies should be appropriately combined when used in economics. It is not sensible to overemphasize either one inside each pair of economic methodologies.
