The system includes the solid start cartridge,pressure-amplified tank with liquid monopropellant, liquid regulator, gas generator, and pipes.The one-dimensional finite-element state-variable model is applied to the pipes and the lumped parameter method is adopted for the other modules. The variations of the system operation parameters over time during the startup, steady-state, and pulsing operational processes are obtained from the transient model, and the characteristics of starting time changing with different system parameters are also analyzed. It is shown that the system startup process can be divided into three distinct processes. The starting time monotonically changes with variations of the liquid regulator parameters, first decreasing and then increasing with the mass change of the solid propellant charge of the start cartridge, initial gas cavity volume of the pressure amplified tank and initial gas cushion of the propellant tank. The starting time can be reduced to less than 1.0 s(0.68–0.75 s for the current system). For meeting the deviation requirements of ±10% of the steady-state propellant tank pressure, the positive deviation requirement is assured by the self-locking pressure and the negative deviation can be assured within an allowable maximum propellant tank volume flowrate(1.6 times the design value for the proposed system) for downstream thrusters for a designed system. The results from the simulation are useful as a guide for further system design and testing.展开更多
To study the application of self-pressure sprinkler irrigation technology to vegetation restoration of grassland in alpine arid areas,three treatments including fenced grassland(FG),fencedirrigated grassland(FA),and f...To study the application of self-pressure sprinkler irrigation technology to vegetation restoration of grassland in alpine arid areas,three treatments including fenced grassland(FG),fencedirrigated grassland(FA),and free grazing grassland(CK) were compared in respect of primary productivity.The results showed that the community coverage of FA was only 35.96% higher than that of FG and 152.69% higher than that of CK;the plant height of FA was only 76.71% higher than that of FG and 155.77% higher than that of CK;the productivity of the community in FA was only 24.10% higher than that of FG and 110.00% higher than that of CK.It indicates that the self-pressure sprinkler irrigation technology has certain demonstration and promotion potential in vegetation restoration of grassland in alpine regions and can provide a new way for the sustainable development of grassland animal husbandry in Tibet.展开更多
Nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)is a green propellant with excellent application prospects.A subNewton N_(2)O monopropellant thruster with inner-heater and a N_(2)O self-pressurization stable supply system with regenerative heat...Nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)is a green propellant with excellent application prospects.A subNewton N_(2)O monopropellant thruster with inner-heater and a N_(2)O self-pressurization stable supply system with regenerative heat compensation are designed in this paper.The experimental research of the thruster is described,including measurements of preheating power,activation temperature,vacuum thrust,specific impulse,life-span and pulsed operation performance.By inserting the heater into the catalyst-bed,preheating efficiency of the heater is significantly improved compared to the thruster with outer-heater.Thus,the preheating power demand of the thruster is successfully reduced to around 10 W.The mean vacuum thrust of 322 mN is attained and the corresponding specific impulse reaches 162s at the mass flow rate of 0.2 g/s.Successful activation temperature of 523 K is achieved,and the activation performance of the thruster is affected by the loading factor.A long term hot-firing test longer than 12000 s is attained.The pulsed operation performance of the inner-preheating thruster is also studied by measuring chamber pressure.Impulses with different magnitudes are produced by adjusting the opening duration of the control valve.A minimum impulse of 81 mN·s is attained.Finally,the performance of the thruster is evaluated by comparison with other thrusters of the same type.The results indicate that the proposed thruster with inner-heater is superior in terms of preheating power,activation temperature and specific impulse performance.展开更多
