With the great development of unmanned aircraft system(UAS)over the last decade,sense and avoid(SAA)system has been a crucial technology for integrating unmanned aircraft vehicle(UAV)into national airspace with reliab...With the great development of unmanned aircraft system(UAS)over the last decade,sense and avoid(SAA)system has been a crucial technology for integrating unmanned aircraft vehicle(UAV)into national airspace with reliable and safe operations.This paper mainly focuses on intruder detection for SAA system.A robust algorithm based on the combination of edge-boxes and spatial pyramid matching using sparse coding(sc-SPM)is presented.The algorithm is composed of three stages.First,edge-boxes method is adopted to obtain a large number of proposals;Second,the optimization program is presented to obtain intruder area-of-interest(ROI)regions;Third,sc-SPM is employed for feature representation of ROI regions and support vector machines(SVM)is adopted to detect the intruder.The algorithm is evaluated under different weather conditions.The recall reaches to 0.95 in dawn and sunny weather and 0.9 in cloudy weather.The experimental results indicate that the intruder detection algorithm is effective and robust with various weather under complex background.展开更多

Most of the MAC protocols for wireless terrestrial communication networks have been designed with negligible propagation delay. If it is deployed directly in an underwater environment,the UANs will perform inefficiently. In this paper,the characteristics of underwater acoustic channel are modeled and simulated by using the OPNET simulation tool,which are the speed of sound, propagation loss, and four sources for ambient noise: the turbulence,shipping,wind driven waves and thermal noise. The performance of pure Aloha( P-Aloha),carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance( CSMA / CA) and multiple access collision avoidance for wireless local area network( MACAW) protocols in underwater acoustic channel environment are evaluated. The effects of carbon nanoparticle(CNP)on rice variety Swarna(MTU7029)were investigated.CNP induced effects similar to shade avoidance response(SAR)of Arabidopsis,with increase in shoot length,root length,root number,...The effects of carbon nanoparticle(CNP)on rice variety Swarna(MTU7029)were investigated.CNP induced effects similar to shade avoidance response(SAR)of Arabidopsis,with increase in shoot length,root length,root number,cotyledon area,chlorophyll content and total sugar content in rice seedlings.In mature plants,CNP treatment resulted increase in plant height,number of productive tillers per plant,normalized difference vegetation index,quantum yield and root growth.A total of 320 mg of CNP per plant administered in four doses resulted in improved grain traits such as filled grain rate,100-grain weight,grain length/width ratio,hulling rate,milling rate and head rice recovery.Seeds from the CNP-treated plants showed increase in amylose,starch and soluble sugar contents compared to controls.Strikingly,CNP treatment showed an average of 17.5%increase in yield per plant.Upon investigation to the molecular mechanism behind CNP induction of SAR,a significant downregulation of phytochrome B transcript was found.Decrease in perception of red wavelengths led to responses similar to SAR.Increase in plant’s internal temperature by 0.5ºC±0.1ºC was recorded after CNP treatment.We suggest that the internalized CNP aggregates may serve to absorb extra photons thereby increasing the internal temperature of plants.Phytochrome B accounts the hike in internal temperature and initiates a feed-back reduction of its own transcription.We suggest that moderate SAR is beneficial for rice plants to improve agronomic traits and yield.It presents a potential non-transgenic method for improving rice yield by CNP treatment.展开更多

To be mindful of potential danger is regarded as a fine tradition of the Chinese nation,while to enhance the sense of urgency is significant political experience of the Communist Party of China. In the process of revolution,construction and reform,generations of the Chinese leaders,with no exception,have attached importance to the sense of urgency in the whole party and prepared for danger in times of safety. But nowadays,the deficiency in the sense of urgency will to some extent delay the pace of national progress and national rejuvenation. In view of this,based on the conversion of the sense of urgency,this paper,from the perspective of the optimization theory of hardship and the grasp of hardships skills,the development of hardships standards and the enhancement of the level of hardships,etc. ,explores an effective way to enhance the sense of unexpected development so as to arouse more attention to the sense of urgency.展开更多
