Oligodendrocyte precursor ce...Erhuang capsule, a typical formula based on traditional Chinese medicine theory, is widely used to ameliorate multiple sclerosis, inflammation and side effects of glucocortJcoid treatment. Oligodendrocyte precursor cells are neural stem cells that are important for myelin repair and regeneration. In the present study, Erhuang capsule effectively improved clinical symptoms and neurological function scores, reduced mortality and promoted recovery of neurological functions of mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis. The mechanism of action involved significant increases in oligodendrocyte precursor cell proliferation in specific regions of the brain and spinal cord, increased oligodendrocyte lineage gene 2 expression and enhanced oligodendrocyte precursor cell differentiation.展开更多
目的:观察养阴益气活血法对干燥综合征(Sjogren′ssyndrom e,SS)N O D小鼠颌下腺组织及其唾液分泌功能的影响,初步探讨其对干燥综合征的治疗作用及其机制。方法:将48只8周龄N O D小鼠随机分为6组,同时选Balb/C小鼠8只做为正常对照组(正...目的:观察养阴益气活血法对干燥综合征(Sjogren′ssyndrom e,SS)N O D小鼠颌下腺组织及其唾液分泌功能的影响,初步探讨其对干燥综合征的治疗作用及其机制。方法:将48只8周龄N O D小鼠随机分为6组,同时选Balb/C小鼠8只做为正常对照组(正常组)。实验期间记录每只小鼠平均每日饮水量,每2周测定唾液分泌量,实验8周后股动脉取血,处死小鼠,解剖摘取颌下腺、脾脏,计算颌下腺和脾脏指数,光镜下观察颌下腺病理变化。结果:模型小鼠颌下腺淋巴细胞浸润评分明显高于正常组(P<0.05),各给药组小鼠病理形态和评分明显改善,且中西药组优于其他组(P<0.05)。至第6周末,各给药组小鼠每日饮水量逐渐减少,低于模型组(P<0.05),而唾液分泌量逐渐增加,且高于模型组(P<0.05)。中药高剂量组、中西药组小鼠每日饮水量明显低于其他给药组(P<0.05)。实验第8周结束后,各给药组小鼠唾液分泌量均高于模型组和同组第2周末(P<0.05);高剂量组、中西药组唾液分泌量高于羟氯喹组、中剂量组、低剂量组(P<0.05)。正常组小鼠脾脏指数低于其他各组(P<0.05),高剂量组、中西药组低于模型组(P<0.05)。模型组颌下腺指数低于正常组(P<0.05),中药低剂量组、羟氯喹组低于正常组(P<0.05);而中西药组均高于模型组、低剂量组和羟氯喹组(P<0.05)。结论:养阴益气活血煎剂能减少干燥综合征N O D小鼠饮水量,增加小鼠唾液分泌量,调节颌下腺和脾脏指数,减轻颌下腺组织病理损害;养阴益气活血煎剂对SS小鼠有治疗作用,且高剂量组效果显著。展开更多
