Teaching Reform and Practice of Embedded System Design Based on Outcome-Based Education

Embedded system design is the core course of the telecommunication major in engineering universities,which combines software and hardware through embedded development boards.Aiming at the problems existing in traditional teaching,this paper proposes curriculum teaching reform based on the outcome-based education(OBE)concept,including determining course objectives,reforming teaching modes and methods,and improving the curriculum assessment and evaluation system.After two semesters of practice,this method not only enhances students’learning initiative but also improves teaching quality.

Exploration of the Integration of Software Engineering Thinking into Embedded System Design Course

Engineering practice is the key bridge between college education and actual work in the industry.In order to deliver qualified talents with engineering quality to the industry,this paper explores integrating software engineering thinking into the Embedded System Design course.A practical and effective teaching mode is designed consisting of immersive learning,case-based learning,progressive practice,interactive learning,and autonomous learning.Through this teaching mode,multi-levels of closed-loop have been established including final project cycle closed-loop,testing cycle closed-loop,and product cycle closed-loop.During this process,students gradually transition to putting forward product requirements,carrying out design and development,thinking and solving problems,collaborating,and assuring quality from the perspective of software engineering.The practice results show that students’engineering quality has been significantly improved.

Teaching Research and Practice of Logistics Management Major Based on OBE-CDIO-A Case Study of Logistics System Planning and Design Course

The economic and social progress under the new era has put forward new requirements for logistics talents.Based on the teaching concept of OBE-CDIO as well as the training program and objectives of logistics management major in Guangzhou Maritime University,this study analyzes and discusses how the Logistics System Planning and Design course,which is targeted at students majoring in logistics management,enables the students to meet the graduation requirements by virtue of realizing the course objectives.

Research and Practice of the P.E. Information Teaching Design System

In this paper, the physical education information teaching design system is researched and developed based on VB6.0 optimization platform. According to the national physical education and health course standards and the fundamental theories of the constructivisrn, the author adopts the modular-design development method to design two functional areas which are the displaying of the teaching design contents and the online information database （nine modules in total） on the basis of the P.E. teaching design flow. Importantly, this system features the compatibility, scalability and practical applicability, and can effectively improve the ability of P.E. teachers to design their teaching, and hence provides a guarantee for the improvement of teaching quality and efficiency.

Research on the design of the multimedia intelligence teaching system based on the oral English curriculum

Applying the multimedia technology to the English teaching is an innovation for the English teaching methods and means, because the traditional teaching cannot solve the problems of listening and speaking locally, but the multimedia teaching can well solve this problem, and can also improve the students＇ English comprehensive abilities. It is a question of the teaching skills whether the teachers can adroitly, effectively and skillfully adopt the advanced teaching methods to implement the teaching.

Practice and Exploration of Ideological and Political Teaching in Landscape Design Courses for Environmental Design Majors

To implement the fundamental goal of moral education,based on the teaching practice of landscape design courses,we explore how to integrate value shaping,knowledge transfer,and skill cultivation in the teaching links of landscape design courses in environmental design majors,such as selecting design topics,assigning tasks,researching projects,designing works,designing explanations,and defense.

Exploration of Practice Teaching Reform Based on Outcome-Based Education Concept:Taking Environmental Design Major as an Example

The concept of OBE(outcome-based education)is more focused on designing and implementing teaching activities around expected learning outcomes than the traditional teaching model and enhancing the quality of education through clear and measurable learning outcomes,which has led to profound changes in the field of education.However,environmental design practice teaching faces a series of challenges in the implementation of the OBE concept,including the complexity of the assessment system,personalized learning and creative learning,and over-reliance on quantitative assessment.Therefore,in order to further deepen the professionalization of the OBE concept,we have conducted research on the design education practice models at home and abroad,explored the practice teaching models and their applications such as project system,studio model,practical internships,and technology-driven interdisciplinary integration,and took the practice innovative teaching models of Stanford d.school and Rhode Island School of Design(RISD)as examples to explore the characteristics of the curricula,cultivation modes,and the development of the environmental design professional practice teaching model.The characteristics of OBE and RISD are discussed to provide a global vision and local contextual reference for the practice teaching reform of environmental design majors.

Application Strategies of Modular Design in Assembled Teaching Buildings

As an efficient,environmentally friendly,energy-saving construction method,assembled buildings are now widely used in campus building construction.Modular design thinking is system-based design thinking,and its application to the design of an assembled teaching building project will comprehensively improve the rationality of the teaching building and component design.The paper focuses on the application of modular design thinking in assembled teaching building design,aiming to provide references for China’s architectural design units,giving full play to the advantages of modular design thinking in future teaching building design projects,and enhancing the level of design,for the construction of the teaching building and the basis of the technical guarantee.

Teaching Design of Course Building Decoration Materials Based on Generative Artificial Intelligence

With the digital transformation of global education and China's emphasis on education digital,generative AI technology has been widely used in the field of higher education.In this paper,the development of generative AI technology and its potential in personalized learning,interactive content creation and adaptive assessment in education were introduced firstly.Then,the application case of generative AI tools in teaching content creation,scenario-based teaching content development,visual teaching content development,complex concept deconstruction and analogy,student-led application practice and other aspects in the teaching of Building Decoration Materials was discussed.Through the teaching experiment and effect evaluation,the positive influence of generative AI technology on the improvement of students'learning effect and teaching efficiency was verified.Finally,some thoughts and inspirations on the combination of educational theory and generative AI technology,the integration of teaching design and generative AI technology,and the practice cases and effect evaluation were put forward,and the importance of teacher role transformation and personalized learning path design was emphasized to provide theoretical and practical support for the innovative development of higher education.

Exploration on the Integration of Curriculum Ideological and Political Concept into the Teaching Design of"Culinary Raw Materials":A Case Study of Livestock and Poultry Raw Materials

Comprehensively promoting curriculum ideological and political education is a strategic measure to implement the fundamental task of establishing moral integrity and educating people.Culinary raw materials is the core curriculum of culinary majors,which is rich in ideological and political elements.In this study,taking livestock and poultry raw materials as an example,the teaching design of integrating curriculum ideological and political education into culinary raw materials were investigated by sorting out its teaching contents and excavating its ideological and political elements.Taking livestock and poultry raw materials in Teochew Cuisine Raw Materials as an example,the teaching design of curriculum ideological and political education was conducted,aiming to provide some reference and guidance for curriculum ideological and political education of the curriculum.

The Application of ChatGPT in Chinese as a Second Language Teaching:A Case Study of Instructional Design for Non-Chinese-Speaking Students in Hong Kong

This study explores the potential application of ChatGPT in designing customized instructional plans for Chinese as a Second Language(CSL)teaching,focusing on non-Chinese-speaking(NCS)students in Hong Kong.Through two rounds of comparative experiments,the study evaluates the effectiveness of AI-generated instructional designs against expert-designed versions.Results reveal that while initial ChatGPT designs initially have limitations,advanced versions demonstrate significant potential in supporting teachers with task-based language teaching(TBLT).These designs provide practical,culturally relevant tasks tailored to diverse learners,enhancing instructional efficiency and learner engagement.Furthermore,ChatGPT’s accessibility offers opportunities to reduce educational disparities by supporting teachers in resource-limited contexts,thereby addressing inequities in instructional quality.The study concludes that,while AI cannot replace teachers,ChatGPT can serve as a valuable supplementary tool,complementing human expertise in culturally and linguistically complex L2 teaching.It underscores the importance of ethical considerations and the critical role of teachers in integrating AI technology effectively to maximize its benefits in education.

A Deep Learning-Based Teaching Design for High School Geography Units:Taking the Example of Landforms of the Humanistic Education Edition

The traditional teaching methods of one-way cultivation of students can no longer meet the requirements of talent cultivation at this stage.The issue of how to promote students from passive acceptance to the independent cognitive understanding stage(i.e.deep learning)has become the focus of geography teaching.Therefore,under the guidance of deep learning theory,this paper takes the“landforms”knowledge unit of the Humanistic Education Edition as an example,improves the classroom teaching means through the unit teaching mode,reconstructs the“landforms”teaching unit,and explores the specific teaching of high school geography unit based on deep learning.This study provides a good example and guidelines for high school geography teaching and learning.

Application Research of Virtual Simulation Technology in Interior Design Teaching

Virtual simulation technology is the integration of virtual reality technology and augmented reality technology, with intuitionistic, practical and experiential, it can fully meet the needs of different scenes and operation needs of interior design course teaching, and provide students with a full sense of immersion, independent operation and exploration of open space. The fundamental purpose of this study on the application of virtual simulation technology in interior design course teaching is to promote the modernization of interior design course teaching and improve the efficiency of teaching. This paper briefly expounds the concept of virtual simulation technology and interior design course, analyzes the limitations and shortcomings of interior design course teaching and implementation, and discusses the advantages of its application in interior design course from the technical point of view.
