First, for a given attribute, the statements in all methods that last define the attribute are computed. Then, the forward and backward data slices for this attribute are generated by using the class as the slice scope and are combined to compute the corresponding class data slice. Finally, the class cohesion is computed based on all class data slices for the attributes. Compared to traditional cohesion metrics that use methods as the slice scope, the proposed metrics that use a single class as slice scope take into account the possible interactions between the methods. The experimental results show that class cohesion can be more accurately measured when using the class as the slice scope.展开更多

By analyzing the power distribution and intern...To improve the accuracy and speed in cycle-accurate power estimation, this paper uses multiple dimensional coefficients to build a Bayesian inference dynamic power model. By analyzing the power distribution and internal node state, we find the deficiency of only using port information. Then, we define the gate level number computing method and the concept of slice, and propose using slice analysis to distill switching density as coefficients in a special circuit stage and participate in Bayesian inference with port information. Experiments show that this method can reduce the power-per-cycle estimation error by 21.9% and the root mean square error by 25.0% compared with the original model, and maintain a 700 + speedup compared with the existing gate-level power analysis technique.展开更多

[Method] Balsam pear slices were dried at different ...[Objective] The aim was to investigate the effects of different drying temperatures on the physiochemical properties and antioxidant activity of balsam pear slices. [Method] Balsam pear slices were dried at different hot air temperatures, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 ℃. [Result] The polyphenols content was highest (2.83 mg/g) in the balsam pear slices dried at 50 ℃, and the flavonoids content was highest (2.584 mg/g) in those dried at 60 ℃. Different drying temperatures had a great impact on the antioxidant capacity of polyphenols in balsam pear. The balsam pear slices dried at 50 ℃ showed the strongest capacity for scavenging DPPH free radicals with IC50 of 0.015 mg/ml, and those dried at 80 ℃ showed the strongest capacity for removing ABTS free radicals with IC50 of 0.0689 mg/ml. [Conclusion] The hot air temperature of 50 ℃ had the least impact on the quality of balsam pear slices.展开更多

The results showed that both H 2O...The influences of exogenous H 2O 2 and salicylic acid (SA) treatments on the alternative respiratory pathway (ARP) in aged potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) tuber slices were compared. The results showed that both H 2O 2(5.0 mmol/L) and SA (0.1 mmol/L) treatments had a significant inducing effect on ARP capacity (V alt ) and its ratio to total respiration (V alt /V t) in potato slices aged for 24 h. With a monoclonal antibody against the alternative oxidase (AOX), Western blotting results showed that both H 2O 2 and SA treatments increased the AOX expression levels in aged potato tuber slices. However, the results of oxygen isotope discrimination experiments showed that H 2O 2 had no influence on the in vivo ARP activity (ρV alt ) and its contribution to V t(expressed as ρV alt /V t) in potato slices aged for 24 h, but SA had a significant influence on the ρV alt and ρV alt /V t values of the aged potato tuber slices. These results indicate that there are differences between the effects of H 2O 2 and SA on ARP in plant tissues. Both of them possess the ability to induce ARP capacity through inducing AOX expression. However, SA can simultaneously stimulate the operation of ARP, but H 2O 2 can not.展开更多
Objective To identify the protective effect of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) preconditioning against LPS-induced inflammatory damage in dopaminergic neurons of midbrain slice culture and the possible mechanisms. Methods ...Objective To identify the protective effect of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) preconditioning against LPS-induced inflammatory damage in dopaminergic neurons of midbrain slice culture and the possible mechanisms. Methods After cultured in vitro for 14 d, the rat organotypic midbrain slices were pretreated with different concentrations (0, 1, 3, 6 or 10 ng/mL) of LPS for 24 h followed by treatment with 100 ng/mL LPS for 72 h. The whole slice viability was detelmined by measurement of the activity of lactic acid dehydrogenase (LDH). Tyrosine hydroxylase-immunoreactive (TH-IR) neurons and CD 1 1 b/c equivalent-immunoreactive (OX-42-IR) microglia in the slices were observed by immunohistochemical method, and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α levels in the culture media were detected by enzymelinked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). Results In the slices treated with 100 ng/mL LPS for 72 h, the number of TH-IR neurons reduced from 191± 12 in the control slices to 46±4, and the LDH activity elevated obviously (P 〈 0.01), along with remarkably increased number of OX-42-IR cells and production of TNF-α (P 〈 0.01). Preconditioning with 3 or 6 ng/mL LPS attenuated neuron loss (the number of TH-IR neurons increased to 126± 12 and 180± 13, respectively) and markedly reduced LDH levels (P 〈 0.05), accompanied by significant decreases of OX-42-IR microglia activation and TNF-α production (P 〈 0.05). Conclusion Low-dose LPS preconditioning could protect dopaminergic neurons against inflammatory damage in rat midbrain slice culture, and inhibition of microglial activation and reduction of the proinflammatory factor TNF-α production may contribute to this protective effect. Further understanding the underlying mechanism of LPS preconditioning may open a new window for treatment of Parkinson's disease.展开更多
In the 5th generation(5G)wireless communication networks,network slicing emerges where network operators(NPs)form isolated logical slices by the same cellular network infrastructure and spectrum resource.In coverage r...In the 5th generation(5G)wireless communication networks,network slicing emerges where network operators(NPs)form isolated logical slices by the same cellular network infrastructure and spectrum resource.In coverage regions of access points(APs)shared by slices,device to device(D2D)communication can occur among different slices,i.e.,one device acts as D2D relay for another device serving by a different slice,which is defined as slice cooperation in this paper.Since selfish slices will not help other slices by cooperation voluntarily and unconditionally,this paper designs a novel resource allocation scheme to stimulate slice cooperation.The main idea is to encourage slice to perform cooperation for other slices by rewarding it with higher throughput.The proposed incentive scheme for slice cooperation is formulated by an optimal problem,where cooperative activities are introduced to the objective function.Since optimal solutions of the formulated problem are long term statistics,though can be obtained,a practical online slice scheduling algorithm is designed,which can obtain optimal solutions of the formulated maximal problem.Lastly,the throughput isolation indexes are defined to evaluate isolation performance of slice.According to simulation results,the proposed incentive scheme for slice cooperation can stimulate slice cooperation effectively,and the isolation of slice is also simulated and discussed.展开更多

According to the packet loss problem of private protection algorithm based on slice technology, this paper proposes the data private protection algorithm with redundancy mechanism, which ensures privacy by privacy homomorphism mechanism and guarantees redundancy by carrying hidden data. Moreover,it selects the routing tree generated by CTP(Collection Tree Protocol) as routing path for data transmission. By dividing at the source node, it adds the hidden information and also the privacy homomorphism. At the same time,the information feedback tree is established between the destination node and the source node. In addition, the destination node immediately sends the packet loss information and the encryption key via the information feedback tree to the source node. Position-spoofing-based attacks seriously threaten the security of Vehicular Ad Hoc Network(VANET).An effective solution to detect position spoofing is location verification.However,since vehicles move fast and the to...Position-spoofing-based attacks seriously threaten the security of Vehicular Ad Hoc Network(VANET).An effective solution to detect position spoofing is location verification.However,since vehicles move fast and the topology changes quickly in VANET,the static location verification method in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is not suitable for VANET.Taking into account the dynamic changing topology of VANET and collusion,we propose a Time-Slice-based Location Verification scheme,named TSLV,to resist position spoofing in VANET.Specifically,TSLV transforms the dynamic topology into static topology by time slice and each time slice corresponds to a verification process.The verifier can implement location verification for the corresponding prover.During the verification process,the verifier first filters out vehicles which provide unreasonably claimed locations,and then uses the Mean Square Error(MSE)-based cluster approach to separate the consistent vehicles by time slice,and uses the consistent set for its verification.In addition,security analysis and simulation show that TSLV can defend against the collusion attack effectively.展开更多

To meet the needs of online monitoring, a simplifiedmethod of computing bispectrum diagonal slice is adopted. Industrial gearbox vibration signalsmeasured from normal and tooth cracked conditions are analyzed using the above method. Experimentsresults indicate that bispectrum can effectively suppress the additive Gaussian noise andchracterize the QPC phenomenon. It is also shown that the 1-D bispectrum diagonal slice can capturethe non-Gaussian and nonlinear feature of gearbox vibration when crack occurred, hence, this methodcan be employed to gearbox real time monitoring and early diagnosis.展开更多
