Coordinating optimization-based sliding mode variable structure control for electro-hydraulic servo system

A sliding mode variable structure control (SMVSC) based on a coordinating optimization algorithm has been developed. Steady state error and control switching frequency are used to constitute the system performance indexes in the coordinating optimization, while the tuning rate of boundary layer width (BLW) is employed as the optimization parameter. Based on the mathematical relationship between the BLW and steady-state error, an optimized BLW tuning rate is added to the nonlinear control term of SMVSC. Simulation experiment results applied to the positioning control of an electro-hydraulic servo system show the comprehensive superiority in dynamical and static state performance by using the proposed controller is better than that by using SMVSC without optimized BLW tuning rate. This succeeds in coordinately considering both chattering reduction and high-precision control realization in SMVSC. 展开更多

Based on the particularities of gas outbursts,i.e.,low gas bearing capacity and low gas pressure in the "Three Soft" coal seam in western Henan,we applied the theories of plate tectonics and regional structural evolution to investigate the mechanism of this seam and its impact on the coal seam gas formation.Our investigation revealed that coal and gas outbursts are distributed in a strip in a NW direction,with a number of high-penetration mines scattered towards the south side and low-gas mines largely located on the north side.We analyzed the statistics of 38 gas explosions and the rock-coal sturdiness number coefficient f of 167 sampling sites in the region and found the gas outburst mechanism that features a "low indicator outburst phenomenon".The mechanism is characterized by structural coal as its core,a low gas bearing capacity,low gas pressure and sturdiness coefficient f mostly less than 0.3.Our research results provide a theoretical foundation for effective control of gas disasters. 展开更多

Sliding surface searching method for slopes containing a potential weak structural surface 被引量:4

However, in soft rocks, failure can occur along ... Weak structural surface is one of the key factors controlling the stability of slopes. The stability of rock slopes is in general concerned with set of discontinuities. However, in soft rocks, failure can occur along surfaces approaching to a circular failure surface. To better understand the position of potential sliding surface, a new method called simplex-finite stochastic tracking method is proposed. This method basically divides sliding surface into two parts: one is described by smooth curve obtained by random searching, the other one is po|yline formed by the weak structural surface. Single or multiple sliding surfaces can be considered, and consequently several types of combined sliding surfaces can be simu- lated. The paper will adopt the arc-polyline to simulate potential sliding surface and analyze the searching process of sliding surface. Accordingly, software for slope stability analysis using this method was developed and applied in real cases. The results show that, using simplex-finite stochastic tracking method, it is possible to locate the position of a potential sliding surface in the slope. 展开更多

Aiming at the PWM rectifier control strategy of sliding mode control, steady state performance weak Hamiltonian control dynamic tracking performance is poor, the coordinated compound control is proposed, the feedback linearization controller and sliding mode controller Hamiltonian system is obtained, and the design of a coordinated control strategy. In order to verify the accuracy of this method, MATLAB/Simulink is used for simulation analysis. The simulation results show that the composite control can achieve the coordinated dynamic rapid tracking and constant DC output and unit power factor operation, and satisfy the control requirements of the rectifier, effectively reducing the disturbance effect on the system. Compared with Hamiltonian control, the proposed method combines the advantages of the two methods, which have the fast tracking performance and excellent steady-state characteristics, and the research prospect is broad. 展开更多
