On Affective Strategies use in College Students' Autonomous English Learning

Autonomous study emphasizes the learner's initiative,enthusiasm and creativity.In all fields of education,there is growing emphasis on "learner-centered" teaching methods and the ability of learner autonomy.Many experts and scholars have found that learning strategies plays an important role in English language learning,but the importance of affective strategy use in English learning is often ignored by people.Therefore,this paper focuses on the frequencies of affective strategies use in English learning and their relationships so as to enable college students to use positive affective strategies effectively to improve their autonomous learning ability.

On the Correlations among Affective Variables,Learning Strategies and Language Proficiency

Affective variables and learning strategies are two important factors that influence language proficiency. In the investigation conducted by the author,there is no sure causal connection being found among the three factors. Further,affective variables seems prevail over learning strategies of the influence on language proficiency and it is the primary element in language study process.

Risk prevention and control strategies for the severely affected areas of snow disaster in the Three Rivers Source Region(TRSR), China

Historically,frequent and heavy snow disaster(SD)has caused serious livestock death and casualties,resulting in a devastating impact on animal husbandry development in the Three Rivers Source Region(TRSR).From winter in 2018 to spring in 2019,the largest SD occurred in this area over the past 10 years,especially in core zones of the Lancang River Source Region.Field research results show that the main causes of the major SD include weak infrastructure(i.e.,roads,communications,warm sheds,and insufficient forage reserve),low rate of domestic animals for sale before the SD,and low loss settlement rate.SD occurrence could furtherly reduce the ability of disaster prevention,mitigation and relief of disaster loss.In the future,heavily affected SD areas should improve the forecasting ability of snowfall incidents,strengthen infrastructure construction,implement grass and livestock balance strategies,optimize livestock structure,improve loss settlement rate,and develop a modern compound model of animal husbandry development model that combines breeding,slaughtering and deep processing of animal product.

Influence of social capital on the livelihood strategies of farmers under China's rural revitalization strategy in poor mountain areas: A case study of the Liangshan Yi autonomous prefecture

Social capital in the form of social resources or social networks is one of the most important livelihood capital of farmers, which can increase the labor productivity of poor households and increase income. It is important to explore the reasons underlying the livelihood strategy choices of farmers from the perspective of social capital under China’s rural revitalization strategy. In this study, the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, a povertystricken mountainous area in southwestern China, was selected as the case study area, and multivariable linear regression models were constructed to analyze the influence of social capital on livelihood strategies.The results are as follows:(1) Individual social capital had a positive effect on non-agricultural livelihood strategies. On average, with a one-unit increase in individual social capital, the ratio of farmers’ nonagricultural income to total productive income(Income_Rto) increased by 0.002% and 0.062%,respectively. Collective social capital, with the Peasant Economic Cooperation Organization(PECO) as the carrier, had a negative effect on the non-agricultural livelihood strategies of farmers;on average, with a oneunit increase in PECO, Income_Rto decreased by approximately 0.053%. However, this effect was only significant in the river valley area.(2) The income differences among the different livelihood strategy types were explained by the livelihood strategy choices of farmers. As non-agricultural work can bring more benefits, the labor force exhibited one-way migration from villages to cities, resulting in a lack of the subject of rural revitalization. It is necessary to implement effective measures to highlight the role of PECO in increasing agricultural income for farmers. Finally,based on the above conclusions,policy recommendations with respect to livelihood transformation of farmers and rural sustainable development are discussed.

Design Strategies for the Sustainable Improvement of Urban Social Assistance Buildings

Transformation and innovation of assistance model promote the transition of urban social assistance building to multi-functional building. This paper, on the basis of analyzing complexity and peculiarity of urban social assistance building, as well as researches and practices of sustainable improvement of domestic architecture, proposed environmental, social and economic objectives of the sustainable improvement of urban social assistance building, and elaborated design strategies from the perspectives of site selection and its impact on environment, application, evaluation and utilization of ecological technologies, reform of old buildings, flexible internal layout of building and combination of routine use and disaster use design, so as to improve social benefits and social assessment of assistance buildings sustainably, and to balance humanistic concerns and social resource input.

A Study on the Sex Differences of Vocabulary Learning Strategies of College Non-English Majors

The paper deals with a study on the sex differences of vocabulary learning strategies employed by the college non-English majors through a questionnaire. The author found some significant differences between some strategies employed by these two groups of students, but there were no significant differences between most of them employed by both sexes. Thus some tentative suggestions to the college English teachers in the vocabulary teaching were provided.

Potential influences of religiosity and religious coping strategies on people with diabetes

Diabetes is a significant health issue that threatens patients’overall wellbeing and quality of life.Critical public health concerns center on creating the best approach for diabetes management.Patients and caregivers have different approaches to diabetes management;however,this and the associated physiological,physical and mental health issues remain challenging.This review explores the potential influences of religiosity and religious coping strategies on people with diabetes.This study used a literature review approach to investigate how religiosity and religious coping strategies can influence the effective management of diabetes among patients.Based on the literature search,the researchers were able to identify and cite published papers that were analyzed using the descriptivenarrative analysis.An important goal of the descriptive-narrative analysis was to provide descriptions of the selected literature and take implications from the literature.The results of studies reviewed show some religious coping strategies for managing chronic diseases such as diabetes.The studies did establish a relationship between religiosity and diabetes management and suggest that religious coping strategies could positively impact the management of diabetes;however,they reported some adverse effects.Hence,we propose a pathway for the development of religion-oriented interventions and support framework for the management of diabetes.

A Study on English Vocabulary Learning Strategies for High School Students——A Case Study of a High School in Chaozhou

For the language learners,especially the high school students in China with heavy learning pressure,learning some useful vo-cabulary strategies would be helpful for them to master the basic elements.The study aims to do a questionnaire on the English vocabulary learning strategies for high school students in Chaozhou and figure outwhat the general conditions of using vocabulary strategies for high school students in a high school are.The study showed most students did not use mechanical memory strategy in a high frequency in learning vocabulary.Secondly,it was anunexpected result that high school students used cognitive strategies more than metacognitive strategies,which was totally different fromprevious research by other scholars.In light of the results,some practical suggestions on teachers and students are proposed.

Adjusting the information service strategies according to users' requirements—A survey of the library users' information requirements in the four library systems of Zhejiang province

Based on a survey of the circumstances of the information requirements in social science from more than 3,800 library users in 48 libraries of the four major library systems in Zhejiang Province,this paper analyzes the present main characteristics of the users' requirements to the social science document information and puts forward some proposals for adjusting the document information service strategies for the library and information institutions.

Maximizing Influence in Temporal Social Networks:A Node Feature-Aware Voting Algorithm

Influence Maximization(IM)aims to select a seed set of size k in a social network so that information can be spread most widely under a specific information propagation model through this set of nodes.However,most existing studies on the IM problem focus on static social network features,while neglecting the features of temporal social networks.To bridge this gap,we focus on node features reflected by their historical interaction behavior in temporal social networks,i.e.,interaction attributes and self-similarity,and incorporate them into the influence maximization algorithm and information propagation model.Firstly,we propose a node feature-aware voting algorithm,called ISVoteRank,for seed nodes selection.Specifically,before voting,the algorithm sets the initial voting ability of nodes in a personalized manner by combining their features.During the voting process,voting weights are set based on the interaction strength between nodes,allowing nodes to vote at different extents and subsequently weakening their voting ability accordingly.The process concludes by selecting the top k nodes with the highest voting scores as seeds,avoiding the inefficiency of iterative seed selection in traditional voting-based algorithms.Secondly,we extend the Independent Cascade(IC)model and propose the Dynamic Independent Cascade(DIC)model,which aims to capture the dynamic features in the information propagation process by combining node features.Finally,experiments demonstrate that the ISVoteRank algorithm has been improved in both effectiveness and efficiency compared to baseline methods,and the influence spread through the DIC model is improved compared to the IC model.

Dynamic model and driving strategy of corporate social responsibility

Corporate social responsibility is the inevitable requirement for the survival and development of enterprises in modern society,as well as the basic guarantee for the sustainable development of economy and society.In order to analyze the driving factors of corporate social responsibility from both internal and external aspects,the dynamic model of corporate social responsibility was constructed,and the driving strategies of corporate social responsibility were also suggested.The driving factors of corporate social responsibility include not only the external constraints of policies,regulations and stakeholders,but also the internal requirements of the sustainable development of enterprises.Only when the external driving force is transformed into the spontaneous and conscious responsibility behavior of the enterprise,can the enterprise achieve its due effect.Moreover,in order to better fulfill the social responsibility,enterprise should build a management system of social responsibility,enhance the awareness of social responsibility,and promote the effective implementation of social responsibility projects.The relevant department should strengthen the all-round supervision of corporate social responsibility,and further improve the policies,laws and regulations related to social responsibility.Enterprises should strengthen communication with stakeholders,actively disclose social responsibility information,and constantly improve social responsibility behavior.By implementing social responsibility,enterprise can improve its business environment,enhance corporate brand image and core competitiveness,and promote the sustainable development of economy and society.

The Application of Affective Education in Middle School English Teaching

It is acknowledged that affection widely affects cognitive activity of individuals in teaching process. While in learning process, affection will greatly affect the motivation of studying and determine whether learners can get as much information as they can. Starting with the problems existed in English Teaching and the definition of affective education, the paper mainly present several ways to advocate affective education, which includes establish harmonious relations between students and teachers and so on.

文化强国背景下中国学术话语权评价体系的构建与提升路径探析——以中国社会科学学科为例

[目的/意义]目前在文化强国战略背景下,我国学术话语权正处在重要的发展阶段,学术话语权评价有助于促进中国学术应对新时代发展的挑战,推动中国特色学术话语权国际化和本土化,明晰未来中国学术话语权发展的总体方向与具体举措。[方法/过程]本文采用文献与网络调研、比较研究、科学计量学等方法,系统地梳理了国内外学术话语权的基本理论、实践脉络,立足于中国学术话语权国内外发展实践,基于学术主体视角,参照相关学术成果评价指标体系,并对中国社会科学学科进行了实证研究,在此基础上,进一步思考和分析了提升中国学术话语权的现实路径。[结论/发现]中国学术话语权评价的核心要素主要由学术引领力、学术竞争力、学术创新力和学术传播力4部分组成,通过实证分析发现中国社会科学学科的多数学科在国际上的地位还比较低。最后提出了提升中国学术话语权国际影响和地位可从这4个方面进行全面提升。

社交媒体策略如何推动企业实现价值创新?

数字化时代社交媒体的发展为企业的价值创新提供了一条快速高效的新路径,但对于社交媒体策略是否以及如何影响价值创新的实证研究仍然匮乏。因此文章基于资源基础观和服务主导逻辑,构建了“社交媒体策略—合作伙伴链接—价值创新”的理论模型。通过对340家渠道企业及其上下游合作企业的调查数据进行实证分析得出结论:企业使用不同的社交媒体策略(主动呈现和社交媒体响应)及二者的交互对企业的价值创新均有正向影响;合作伙伴链接部分中介主动呈现、社交媒体响应对价值创新的正向直接关系,完全中介主动呈现与社交媒体响应对价值创新的正向交互作用。文章对企业有效实施社交媒体策略以推动价值创新具有重要的意义,也为企业在数字化时代实现价值创新提供了理论参考。

社交网络中基于EHEM的两阶段谣言抑制方法

在线社交网络的兴起带来了一系列的挑战与风险,其中包括虚假以及恶意谣言的传播,这可能会误导民众,破坏社会的稳定。因此,对谣言的传播进行抑制成为当前社交网络领域的热点问题。目前已经积累较多谣言抑制的工作,但是还存在模型不能准确描述信息在社交网络上传播的问题,因此提出了一种新的刻画信息传播的模型——扩展热量模型(Extended Heat Energy Model, EHEM)。该模型充分考虑了信息传播中节点激活概率的动态调整机制、信息传播的持续级联机制以及节点状态的动态转变机制,更加精准地捕捉了信息在网络上传播的爆炸性和复杂性;其次,考虑到在真实世界相信谣言的节点在接触真相后存在将信仰转变到相信真相的可能性,提出了校正阈值来确定节点是否会发生信仰的转换;节点的重要程度决定了它们自身的影响力,因此还提出了节点多维质量来衡量节点的重要程度;最后提出了两阶段的谣言抑制(Two Stage Rumor Containment, TSRC)算法,该算法首先使用节点多维质量对网络进行剪枝处理,之后通过模拟的方式从网络中选出最优的正种子集合。在4个真实数据集上进行实验,结果表明,所提算法在多个指标上优于Random, Betweenness, MD, PR, PWD和ContrId这6种对比算法。

基于社会支持理论缓解南充市医务人员职业倦怠的策略研究

[目的]探索分析基于社会支持理论缓解南充市医务人员职业倦怠的策略。[方法]采用分层抽样的方法抽取南充市10家医院514名医务人员作为研究对象,利用《中国职业倦怠量表》《社会支持评定量表》及自制的一般情况调查表进行问卷调查,采用χ^(2)检验、偏相关分析、协方差分析及Logistic回归分析等探究缓解职业倦怠的策略。[结果]参与调查的514名南充市医务人员职业倦怠总均分为(41.2±12.45)分,检出率为49.8%。χ^(2)检验分析发现,职业倦怠检出率男性高于女性、大专及以下学历者高于本科及以上者、二级医院工作者高于三级医院工作者、日均睡眠时间≤6h者高于≥7h者、对薪酬体系不满意者高于满意者,且差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。偏相关分析发现,社会支持与职业倦怠呈负相关(P<0.01)。Logistic回归显示,低社会支持(OR=0.530)、男性(OR=0.529)、大专及以下学历(OR=0.623)、二级医院上班(OR=0.468)、对薪酬体系不满意(OR=0.476)是医务人员职业倦怠的独立危险因素(P<0.05)。[结论]南充市医务人员职业倦怠水平较高,社会支持具有负向预测作用,性别、学历、医院等级、薪酬体系满意度是影响医务人员职业倦怠的主要影响因素。

社会企业的动态合法性构建——基于雅恩健康的案例研究

社会企业近些年在我国不断创立,但总体仍处于发展不完善状态,如何在不同的发展阶段获取合法性是社会企业行稳致远的基石。社会企业类型繁多,就商业企业转型的社会企业而言,可以优先选择与员工、顾客等微观利益相关者的社会化战略获得合法性。研究表明,随着时间推移,社会企业专注于不同方面的合法性,在创始阶段,社会企业努力通过群体社会化来获取关系合法性,以追求价值上的认同感。在成长阶段,社会企业专注于通过任务社会化来获取市场合法性,使产品或服务在市场上更具竞争力。在成熟阶段,社会企业通过组织社会化来获取社会合法性,以解决可持续问题。通过一项单案例阐释在社会企业发展制度不完善的背景下,社会化策略在其获取合法性中的作用。
