Red blood cell(RBC)aggregation as well as their deformation significantly affects blood microrheology.These processes depend on various factors,one of which is concentration of the nitric oxide,one of the main signaling molecule in the bloodstream.The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of nitric oxide on the microrheological properties of red blood cells(RBCs)in RBC samples of various media after the addition of nitric oxide donor sodium nitroprusside in vitro.Microrheological properties were measured using laser aggregometer and ektacytometer based on diffuse light scattering and diffraction of laser light on a suspension of RBCs,respectively.The study found that heparin-stabilized blood showed increased RBC aggregation and deformation with sodium nitroprusside concentrations of 100,and 200M,while EDTA-stabilized blood showed slightly decreased aggregation and unchanged deformation.With washed RBCs in dextran solution,the addition of sodium nitroprusside(in the concentrations of 100,and 200M)resulted in decreased aggregation and increased deformation.These-ndings aid in our understanding of nitric oxide's effect on RBC microrheological properties. 展开更多

Water stress is a critical environmental adversity that significantly impacts the growth,development,and yield of flax plants.In this study,flax seeds were cultivated under different water irrigation requirements(WIR)(100%,75%,and 50%)to investigate the effects of exogenously supplied nitric oxide(NO)donor sodium nitroprusside(SNP)as foliar treatments at concentrations of 0.0 mmol/L,0.5 mmol/L,1.0 mmol/L,and 2.0 mmol/L.Drought stress led to a significant decrease in plant growth,photosynthetic pigments,yield components such as oil and total carbohydrate percentage.It also resulted in an increase in leaf H2O2 production,lipid peroxidation levels and activities of enzymatic antioxidants including polyphenol oxidase,superoxide dismutase,and nitrate reductase enzymes.However,foliar application of SNP improved photosynthetic pigments and antioxidant defense system which mitigated the negative impact of water stress on growth and yield productivity by reducing oxidative damage caused by reactive oxygen species accumulation.The use of SNP also decreased H_(2)O_(2) accumulation levels,lipid peroxidation levels,and improved membrane stability.SNP treatment at concentration of 2 mmol/L showed superior results compared to other concentrations with extremely significant increases observed in yield characteristics such as oil content,total carbohydrate percentages,and unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids ratio. 展开更多

Methods: Forty-two patients with erectile dysfunction (ED) were randomly assigned to receive SNP 300μgor the control drags (papaverine 30 mg + phentolamine 1 mg) intracavemously crosswise one week apart. The penilelength, circumference and hardness after the administration of the experimental and control drags were assessed andcompared statistically. Results: (1) There was no significant difference between the changes in penile length andcircumference in the two occasions; (2) In 25 SNP and 28 control cases, the hardness of the penis was scored above100 as evaluated by the Vimg method (P > 0.05); (3) The duration of erection in the controls was longer than that inthe SNP, but there were three priapism in the controls and not a single one in the SNP; (4) there was no apparentchange in the heart rate and blood pressure in both occasions; other side effects were minimal except slight local pain ina few controls. Conclusion: SNP facilitates relaxation of the penile smooth muscle and penile erection without sig-nificant side effects. Objective:To evaluate and compare antioxidant activities of the aqueous extracts of unripe plantain(Musa paradisiaca),assess their inhibitory action on sodium nitroprusside induced lipid peroxidation in rat pancreas in vitro and to cliaracterize the main phenolic constituents of the plantain products using gas chromatography analysis.Methods:Aqueous extracts of plantain products(raw,elastic pastry,roasted and boiled)(lour ol 0.1 g/mL(each)were used to determine their total phenol,total flavonoid,1,1 diphenyl-2 picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)and hydroxyl(OH)radical scavenging ability.The inhibitory effect of the extracts on sodium nitropmsside induced lipid peroxidation was also determined.Results:The results revealed that all the aqueous extracts showed antioxidant activity.The boiled Hour had highest DPPH and OH radical scavenging ability while raw Hour had the highest Fe^(2+)chelating ability,sodium nilroprusside inhibitor)effect and vitamin C content.The antioxidant results showed that elastic pastry had the highest total phenol and total flavonoid content.Characterization of the unripe plantain products for polyphenol contents using gas chromatography showed varied quantity of apigenin,myricetin.luteolin,capsaicin,isorhaemnetin.caffeic acid,kampferol,quercetin,p-hydroxybenzoic acid,shogaol,glycitein and gingerol per product on the spectra.Conclusions:Considering the antioxidant activities and ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation of unripe plantain,this could justify their traditional use in the management/prevention of diseases related to stress. 展开更多

The experiment indicates that a russety product is formed by the reaction of cefradine with sodium nitroprusside in basic solution, and the maximum absorption wavelength (λmax) of russety product is 505 rim. And the sensitization of tetradecyl benzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride for the reaction of cefradine with sodium nitroprusside is remarkable, The apparent molar absorption coefficient (5505) is 2.81 × 103 L/mol cm. The linear equation isA = 0.0657 + 0.00804C (μg/mL) in the range of 1.50-55.0μg/mL of cefradine with a correlation coefficient r = 0.9992, and the detection limit is 1.38 p,g/mL. This method has been applied to determine cefradine in capsule and tablet samples. 展开更多

The medical records of 191 AD patients who were admitted to Tongji Hosp... This study examined the sodium nitroprusside (SNP) toxicity to central nervous system (CNS) in treatment of patients with aortic dissection (AD). The medical records of 191 AD patients who were admitted to Tongji Hospital, China, from Jan. 1998 to Feb. 2009 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 140 cases of hypertension (73.3%) and 13 cases of Marfan syndrome (6.8%) among the 191 AD patients. A total of 157 patients were given SNP treatment. The toxic reactions of CNS occurred in 18 subjects (11.5%). Most of the adverse reactions occurred on the fifth day following SNP injection. SNP infusion rate was significantly higher in patients who developed CNS toxicity. It was suggested that systemic hypertension is the most common predisposing factor for AD. The combination of SNP with a β-receptor blocker is a medical therapy commonly used in patients with AD. Cyanide and thio-cyanate toxicity from SNP treatment is always the consequence of prolonged drug infusion or relatively high dose administration. 展开更多

BACKGROUND No reflow or slow flow frequently occurs during percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and it is associated with adverse outcomes.Strategies should be undertaken to prevent its occurrence.AIM To observe whether conventional target intracoronary administration of sodium nitroprusside immediately before balloon inflation can reduce the incidence of no reflow and slow flow,which are defined as thrombolysis in myocardial infarction flow grade≤II during PCI.METHODS A retrospective study was conducted in 740 patients with coronary artery disease admitted to Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between January 2016 and October 2020.Among them,360 patients receiving sodium nitroprusside immediately before balloon inflation during PCI were enrolled in an experimental group between January 2019 and October 2020 and 380 patients receiving sodium nitroprusside after incident no reflow and slow flow during PCI were enrolled in a control group between January 2016 and January 2019.The occurrence of no reflow and slow flow was compared between the two groups and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were detected 1 mo after the operation.RESULTS After treatment,the proportion of patients with thrombolysis in myocardial infarction flow grades 0 to II was lower in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.05).At 1 mo after treatment,LVEDD was lower and LVEF was higher in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.05).In terms of incidence of adverse cardiovascular events within 1 mo after treatment,in the experimental group,malignant arrhythmia occurred in three patients,intractable myocardial ischemia in three,congestive heart failure in four,and recurrent myocardial infarction in five;one patient died.In the control group,malignant arrhythmia occurred in eight patients,intractable myocardial ischemia in five,congestive heart failure in seven,and recurrent myocardial infarction in 14;two patients died.The incidence of adverse cardiovascular events was 4.4%in experimental group which was lower than that of the control group at 1 mo after operation(9.5%;P<0.05).CONCLUSION Administration of sodium nitroprusside into target vessels immediately before balloon inflation can significantly reduce the incidence of no reflow and slow flow,improve LVEDD and LVEF,and reduce the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events in patients treated by PCI.It is worthy of clinical promotion. 展开更多

AIM: To investigate the tolerance development against the relaxant effect of nitric oxide donating drug isosorbide dinitrate (ISDN) and sodium nitropruside (SNP) in internal anal sphincter (IAS) smooth muscle. METHODS: Relaxation responses of ISDN, and electrical fi eld stimulation (EFS) were obtained before and after tolerance induction by ISDN incubation. RESULTS: ISDN (10-7-10-4 mol/L) and SNP (10-8-10-4 mol/L) caused a concentration-dependent relaxation on the basal tonus of the isolated rabbit IAS strips. After a period of 2 h incubation of the 6 x 10-4 mol/L ISDN the relaxation effects of ISDN and SNP did not change compared to control strips. EFS evoked frequency-dependent relaxation in internal anal sphincter smooth muscle and Emax obtained from control strips were not changed in ISDN tolerance-inducing condition. In this study nitrate tolerance was not observed in rabbit IAS smooth muscle. CONCLUSION: This result shows that nitric oxide donating drugs relaxes the internal anal sphincter of the rabbits without the development of tolerance. 展开更多

Methods: Patients with acute coronary syndrome who underwent PCI and had no reflow in Gong'an County People's Hospital in Hubei Province between August 2014 and July 2017 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into two groups, combined group accepted intracoronary sodium nitroprusside and tirofiban injection during PCI, and control group accepted intracoronary tirofiban injection during PCI. The serum levels of myocardial injury indexes, oxidative stress indexes and inflammatory mediators of the two groups were measured before treatment and 1 d after treatment. Results: 1 d after treatment, serum CK-MB, H-FABP, sFas, cMyBP-C, MPO, MDA, Caspase-3, MCP-1, IL-1β, IL-18, MMP2 and MMP9 levels of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment whereas SOD and NQO-1 levels were higher than those before treatment, and serum CK-MB, H-FABP, sFas, cMyBP-C, MPO, MDA, Caspase-3, MCP-1, IL-1β, IL-18, MMP2 and MMP9 levels of combined group were significantly lower than those of control group whereas SOD and NQO-1 levels were higher than those control group. Conclusion: Intracoronary sodium nitroprusside and tirofiban injection can reduce the myocardial injury in patients with no reflow in PCI. 展开更多

The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of gastrodin and sodium nitroprusside on circulatory mechanics and hemodynamics.The modified Windkessel model was used to calculate arterial vascular compliance and inertance of blood flow in the arterial vessels.Blood pressure,cardiac output,peripheral resistance,inertance of blood flow in the arterial vessels,and proximal and distal compliance etc in 20 dogs were measured and calculated before and after gastrodin and sodium nitroprusside ad-ministration.The results show that gastrodin is efficient in decreasing the blood pres-sure(P<0.001)and peripheral resistance(P<0.01),and increasing the proximal(P<0.05)and distal arterial vascular compliance(P<0.01),and inertance of blood flow in the arterial vessels(P=0.054).Sodium nitroprusside strongly de·eases bloood pres-sure and peripheral resistance(P<0.001),and increases distal arterial compliance(P<0.001)and inertance of blood flow in the arterial vessels(P<0.01).Comparing with sodium nitropursside,gastrodin is moderate in reducing blood pressure,but it reduces systolic blood pressure is relatively stronger than it does diastolic blood pressure.Fur-thermore,gastrodin is stronger than sodium nitroprusside and some of other vasodila-tors in increasing proximal arterial compliance,i.e.,gastrodin has the beneficial ef-fect of improving arterial vascular,particularly aorta and large artery,elasticity.Gas-trodin,as a traditional Chinese medicine,can be used to cure the elderly hypertension. 展开更多

Results Both captopril and SNP could reduce the high ET - 1 levels of VSMC which were caused by Ang Ⅱ. Conclusion Endothelin - 1 may accelerate the formation and development of atherosclerosis through inhibiting endogenous NO production by VSMC. Effects of Sodium Nitroprussiate on the Metabolites and Key Enzyme Activities of Carbon-nitrogen Metabolism from Seed Germination to Seedling Period of Cherry Tomato

This study was conducted to elucidate the regulating mechanism of sodium nitroprussiate on seed germination and seedling growth of cherry tomato. After the treatment with different concentrations of sodium nitroprusside, the effects on the metabolites and key enzyme activities in carbon-nitrogen metabolism of cherry tomato cuhivar Zhuyun as an experimental material were investigated. The results showed that from seed germination to seedling period, the contents of starch and total nitrogen decreased, but the contents of soluble sugar, reducing sugar, sucrose and soluble protein increased firstly and then decreased; and free amino acids content increased gradually. Sodium nitroprusside made the contents of starch, sucrose and free amino acids higher than CK. From seed germination to seedling period in cherry tomato, the activities of amylase, glutamine synthetase (GS) and sucrose phosphate synthase (SPS) decreased; the activities of nitrate reductase (NR) and glutamate synthase (GOGAT) increased at first and decreased then; and the CK and the 0.25 mmol/L sodium nitroprusside treatments exhibited de- creased sucrose synthase (SS) activity, and the trend was increasing at first and decreasing then after the treatment with 0.50 and 1.00 mmol/L sodium nitroprus- side. Sodium nitroprusside treatment improved amylase activity; and the carbon-nitrogen ratio of the CK increased at first and decreased then, while the values of other treatments tended to decrease. In addition, sodium nitroprusside did not affect seed germination potential and germination rate, but significantly improved biomass accumulation, root length and height of seedlings. These data suggest that sodium nitroprusside could affect the conversion of starch and sugar accumulation, delay the decomposition of total nitrogen and soluble protein, and achieve the effects of accelerating the accumulation of free amino acids, and promoting seed germination and seedling growth, and 0.50 mmol/L sodium nitroprusside has the best effect. 展开更多

目的探讨常规急救方案联合灯盏生脉饮治疗急性心力衰竭(AHF)合并糖尿病患者的疗效及对血气指标、心功能和糖脂代谢的影响。方法回顾性选取2021年9月至2022年12月首都医科大学附属北京同仁医院收治的AHF合并糖尿病患者80例作为研究对象,... 目的探讨常规急救方案联合灯盏生脉饮治疗急性心力衰竭(AHF)合并糖尿病患者的疗效及对血气指标、心功能和糖脂代谢的影响。方法回顾性选取2021年9月至2022年12月首都医科大学附属北京同仁医院收治的AHF合并糖尿病患者80例作为研究对象,按治疗方法不同将患者分为观察组与对照组,每组各40例。对照组患者采取常规急救方案,如无创呼吸机、硝普钠、多巴胺治疗等,观察组患者在对照组基础上给予灯盏生脉饮治疗,两组均治疗20 d。比较两组患者急救效果,并比较两组患者的治疗前、治疗后1 d的血气指标[动脉二氧化碳分压(PaCO_(2))、动脉氧分压(PaO_(2))]、氨基末端脑钠素前体(NT-proBNP)水平、心功能[左心室收缩末期容积(LVESV)、左心室射血分数(LVEF)、左心室舒张末期容积(LVEDV)、每搏心输出量(SV)]、糖脂代谢[糖化血红蛋白(GHb)、空腹血糖(FPG)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)]水平及不良反应。结果观察组患者急救总有效率为92.50%,显著高于对照组(77.50%),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组患者治疗后1 d的PaO_(2)为(75.23±7.98)mmHg,显著高于对照组[(61.23±7.31)mmHg],PaCO_(2)、NT-proBNP水平分别为(37.38±6.89)mmHg、(529.63±189.74)pg/mL,均显著低于对照组[(46.13±7.07)mmHg、(695.45±263.32)pg/mL],差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组患者治疗后1 d的LVESV、LVEDV、SV分别为(109.71±9.65)、(173.48±18.72)、(79.77±9.32)mL,均低于对照组[(130.45±13.53)、(210.75±21.34)、(89.34±9.02)mL],LVEF为(54.38±6.04)%,显著高于对照组[(45.23±5.49)%],差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组FPG、GHb、LDL-C水平分别为(6.04±1.01)mmol/L、(6.03±0.94)%、(1.82±0.59)mmol/L,均显著低于对照组[(7.69±1.01)mmol/L、(7.68±0.51)%、(2.82±0.62)mmol/L],HDL-C水平为(3.24±0.21)mmol/L,显著高于对照组[(2.28±0.20)mmol/L],差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。对照组与观察组治疗期间不良反应发生率比较(7.50%vs.10.0%),差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论常规急救方案联合灯盏生脉饮治疗AHF合并糖尿病患者急救效果显著,可更好地改善患者血气指标及心功能,调节患者糖脂代谢指标水平,且具有一定安全性。 展开更多

目的 分析重组人尿激酶原联合硝普钠替罗非班冠状动脉内注射对高血栓负荷急性ST段抬高型心肌梗死(ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction,STEMI)患者行经皮冠状动脉介入治疗(Percutaneous Coronary Intervention,PCI)疗效的影响... 目的 分析重组人尿激酶原联合硝普钠替罗非班冠状动脉内注射对高血栓负荷急性ST段抬高型心肌梗死(ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction,STEMI)患者行经皮冠状动脉介入治疗(Percutaneous Coronary Intervention,PCI)疗效的影响。方法 选取2022年1月—2023年6月连云港市中医院收治的82例需行PCI高血栓负荷STEMI患者为研究对象,按照随机数表法分为研究组和对照组,各41例。对照组应用硝普钠、替罗非班冠状动脉内注射,研究组在对照组基础上给予重组人尿激酶原治疗,对比两组心功能指标、出血事件发生情况、术后并发症发生情况。结果 术后各时间点,研究组左心室舒张末期内径低于对照组,左心室射血分数高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。研究组并发症发生率(9.76%)低于对照组(26.83%),差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=3.998,P<0.05)。两组出血率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论 重组人尿激酶原联合硝普钠、替罗非班冠状动脉内注射,能够提高高血栓负荷STEMI患者行PCI过程中的心功能,降低术后并发症,且不会增加出血风险。 展开更多

为探究外源硝普钠(sodium nitroprusside,SNP)处理对冷藏南果梨果皮褐变的调控效果及其机理,研究贮前1.0 mmol/L SNP处理对冷藏180 d南果梨常温货架期间果皮褐变的影响。结果表明:SNP处理的南果梨褐变症状比对照组果实延迟3 d出现,货架... 为探究外源硝普钠(sodium nitroprusside,SNP)处理对冷藏南果梨果皮褐变的调控效果及其机理,研究贮前1.0 mmol/L SNP处理对冷藏180 d南果梨常温货架期间果皮褐变的影响。结果表明:SNP处理的南果梨褐变症状比对照组果实延迟3 d出现,货架期结束时,其褐变率和褐变指数分别为对照组的41.8%和31.9%;该处理能够保护冷藏南果梨果皮细胞结构的完整性,抑制膜透性的升高;进一步分析发现,在货架期末期,SNP处理果实超氧阴离子自由基、羟自由基及1,1-二苯基-2-三硝基苯肼自由基清除能力分别为对照组的1.65、1.13、1.24倍,同时,活性氧和丙二醛的积累明显减少,分别比对照组低25.2%和32.8%,多酚氧化酶和过氧化物酶活性和相对基因表达量分别比对照组低17.5%、28.8%、37.5%和39.2%;此外,酚类物质合成也一定程度受到抑制。综上,SNP处理可通过抑制膜脂质过氧化维持果皮组织细胞结构完整性和功能,缓解冷藏南果梨果皮褐变的发生。 展开更多

为探究一氧化氮(nitric oxide,NO)对樱桃贮藏品质的影响,以先锋樱桃为试材,研究0.2、0.4、0.6 mmol/L NO外源供体硝普钠(sodium nitroprusside,SNP)溶液处理对樱桃果实在4℃下贮藏30 d的品质变化影响。结果表明:贮藏30 d后,0.4 mmol/L ... 为探究一氧化氮(nitric oxide,NO)对樱桃贮藏品质的影响,以先锋樱桃为试材,研究0.2、0.4、0.6 mmol/L NO外源供体硝普钠(sodium nitroprusside,SNP)溶液处理对樱桃果实在4℃下贮藏30 d的品质变化影响。结果表明:贮藏30 d后,0.4 mmol/L SNP处理组樱桃果实贮藏品质最好,相比于对照组,其失重率降低43.20%,硬度、色差和可溶性固形物含量(soluble solid content,SSC)分别提高52.60%、18.83%和31.84%。贮藏期间0.4 mmol/L SNP处理组明显抑制了樱桃果皮的褐变,多酚氧化酶(polyphenol oxidase,PPO)活性降低61.39%,樱桃果实的总酚含量(total phenol content,TPC)、过氧化氢酶(catalase,CAT)和过氧化物酶(peroxidase,POD)活性分别提高了177.50%、53.05%和38.33%,同时抑制过氧化氢和丙二醛的积累,保持樱桃膜组织结构完整。0.4 mmol/L SNP处理后各项指标均显著优于对照组(P<0.05),表明0.4 mmol/L SNP处理可以延缓樱桃果实采后的衰老,有效延长樱桃果实的贮藏期,对樱桃采后贮藏保鲜效果良好。 展开更多

目的研究基于非靶向代谢组学技术的川西獐牙菜在硝普钠处理后的代谢响应,为相关研究提供参考。方法以1.0 mmol/L硝普钠处理的川西獐牙菜为实验组,蒸馏水处理的川西獐牙菜为对照组,对实验组和对照组的川西獐牙菜中差异代谢物进行主成分分... 目的研究基于非靶向代谢组学技术的川西獐牙菜在硝普钠处理后的代谢响应,为相关研究提供参考。方法以1.0 mmol/L硝普钠处理的川西獐牙菜为实验组,蒸馏水处理的川西獐牙菜为对照组,对实验组和对照组的川西獐牙菜中差异代谢物进行主成分分析(principal component analysis,PCA)、正交偏最小二乘判别分析(orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis,OPLS-DA)以及KEGG富集分析。结果从实验组和对照组处理的川西獐牙菜中共检测到523种代谢物,通过OPLS-DA模型的数据分析,根据VIP>1和P<0.05条件共筛选出104种差异显著代谢物,其中有36种代谢物上调、68种代谢物下调,这些差异代谢物包括黄酮类、生物碱类、有机酸、氨基酸、糖类、维生素、香豆素类化合物及其他化合物。KEGG富集结果显示,对照组与实验组差异代谢物富集到121条途径中。结论推测川西獐牙菜的差异代谢物显著富集的12条代谢途径主要与抗氧化有关。 展开更多
