This paper is concerned with the impact of implementing a thinking skills intervention on pedagogy and the classroom environment, general problems in implementing thinking skills in China and their suggested solutions. It is conducted by a small scale investigation into a thinking skills class in Year 7 English in England. Discussion is based on existing research in this field and the writer's professional experience.
