A bearing fault diagnosis method based on the Markov transitionfield(MTF)and SEnet(SE)-IShufflenetV2 model is proposed in this paper due to the problems of complex working conditions,low fault diagnosis accuracy,and poor generalization of rolling bearing.Firstly,MTF is used to encode one-dimensional time series vibration sig-nals and convert them into time-dependent and unique two-dimensional feature images.Then,the generated two-dimensional dataset is fed into the SE-IShufflenetV2 model for training to achieve fault feature extraction and classification.This paper selects the bearing fault datasets from Case Western Reserve University and Paderborn University to experimentally verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.The generalization performance of the proposed method is tested under the variable load condition and different signal-to-noise ratios(SNRs).The experimental results show that the average accuracy of the proposed method under different working conditions is 99.2%without adding noise.The accuracy under different working conditions from 0 to 1 HP is 100%.When the SNR is 0 dB,the average accuracy of the proposed method can still reach 98.7%under varying working conditions.Therefore,the bearing fault diagnosis method proposed in this paper is characterized by high accuracy,strong anti-noise ability,and generalization.Moreover,the proposed method can also overcome the influence of variable working conditions on diagnosis accuracy,providing method support for the accurate diagnosis of bearing faults under strong noise and variable working conditions. 展开更多

As a promising anode material for magnesium ion rechargeable batteries,magnesium metavanadate(MgV_(2)O_(6))has attracted considerable research interest in recent years.A MgV_(2)O_(6)sample was synthesized via a facile solid-state reaction by multistep-firing stoichiometric mixtures of MgO and V2O5 powder under an air atmosphere.The solid-state phase transition fromα-MgV_(2)O_(6)toβ-MgV_(2)O_(6)occurred at 841 K and the enthalpy change was 4.37±0.04 kJ/mol.The endothermic effect at 1014 K and the enthalpy change was 26.54±0.26 kJ/mol,which is related to the incongruent melting ofβ-MgV_(2)O_(6).In situ XRD was performed to investigate phase transition of the as-prepared MgV_(2)O_(6)at high temperatures.The cell parameters obtained by Rietveld refinement indicated that it crystallizes in a monoclinic system with the C2/m space group,and the lattice parameters of a=9.280 A°,b=3.501 A°,c=6.731 A°,β=111.76°.The solid-state phase transition fromα-MgV_(2)O_(6)toβ-MgV_(2)O_(6)was further studied by thermal kinetics,indicating that this process is controlled first by a fibril-like mechanism and then by a spherulitic-type mechanism with an increasing heating rate.Additionally,the enthalpy change of MgV_(2)O_(6)at high temperatures was measured utilizing the drop calorimetry,heat capacity was calculated and given as:Cp=208.3+0.03583T-4809000T^(−2)(298-923 K)(J mol^(−1)K^(−1)),the high-temperature heat capacity can be used to calculate Gibbs free energy of MgV_(2)O_(6)at high temperatures. 展开更多

Conventional theories expect that materials under pressure exhibit expanded valence and conduction bands,leading to increased electrical conductivity.Here,we report the electrical properties of the doped 1T-TiS_(2) under high pressure by electrical resistance investigations,synchrotron x-ray diffraction,Raman scattering and theoretical calculations.Up to 70 GPa,an unusual metal-semiconductor-metal transition occurs.Our first-principles calculations suggest that the observed anti-Wilson transition from metal to semiconductor at 17 GPa is due to the electron localization induced by the intercalated Ti atoms.This electron localization is attributed to the strengthened coupling between the doped Ti atoms and S atoms,and the Anderson localization arising from the disordered intercalation.At pressures exceeding 30.5 GPa,the doped TiS_(2) undergoes a re-metallization transition initiated by a crystal structure phase transition.We assign the most probable space group as P2_(1)2_(1)2_(1).Our findings suggest that materials probably will eventually undergo the Wilson transition when subjected to sufficient pressure. 展开更多

In this work,the effects of the frequency,pressure,gas composition,and secondary-electron emission coefficient on the discharge mode in capacitively coupled Ar/O_(2) plasmas were carefully studied through simulations.Three discharge modes,i.e.,α,γ,and drift-ambipolar(DA),were considered in this study.The results show that a mode transition from theγ-DA hybrid mode dominated by theγmode to the DA-αhybrid mode dominated by the DA mode is induced by increasing the frequency from 100 k Hz to 40 MHz.Furthermore,the electron temperature decreases with increasing frequency,while the plasma density first decreases and then increases.It was found that the electronegativity increases slightly with increasing pressure in the lowfrequency region,and it increases notably with increasing pressure in the high-frequency region.It was also observed that the frequency corresponding to the mode transition fromγto DA decreased when the secondary-electron emission coefficient was decreased.Finally,it was found that increasing the oxygen content weakens theγmode and enhances the DA mode.More importantly,the density of oxygen atoms and ozone will increase greatly with increasing oxygen content,which is of great significance for industrial applications. 展开更多

Al_(2)O_(3)and Ga_(2)O_(3)exhibit numerous crystal phases with distinct stabilities and materialproperties.However,the phase transitions among thosematerialsare typicallyundesirable in industrial applications,making it imperative to elucidate the transition mechanisms between these phases.The configurational similarities between Al_(2)O_(3)and Ga_(2)O_(3)allow for the replication of phase transition pathways between these materials.In this study,we investigate the potential phase transition pathway of alumina from the 0-phase to the α-phase using stochastic surface walking global optimization based on global neural network potentials,while extending an existing Ga_(2)O_(3)phase transition path.Through this exploration,we identify a novel single-atom migration pseudomartensitic mechanism,which combines martensitic transformation with single-atom diffusion.This discovery offers valuable insights for experimental endeavors aimed at stabilizing alumina in transitional phases. 展开更多

Integrating liquid CO_(2)phase transition blasting(LCPTB)technology with hydraulic fracturing(HF)methods can help reduce wellbore damage,create multiple radial fractures,and establish a complex fracture network.This approach significantly increases the recovery efficiency of low-permeability oil and gas fields.Accurately calculating the number of fractures caused by LCPTB is necessary to predict production enhancement effects and optimize subsequent HF designs.However,few studies are reported on large-scale physical model experiments in terms of a method for calculating the fracture number.This study analyzed the initiation and propagation of cracks under LCPTB,derived a calculation formula for crack propagation radius under stress waves,and then proposed a new,fast,and accurate method for calculating the fracture number using the principle of mass conservation.Through ten rock-breaking tests using LCPTB,the study confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed calculation approach and elucidated the variation rule of explosion pressure,rock-breaking scenario,and the impact of varying parameters on fracture number.The results show that the new calculation method is suitable for fracturing technologies with high pressure rates.Recommendations include enlarging the diameter of the fracturing tube and increasing the liquid CO_(2) mass in the tube to enhance fracture effectiveness.Moreover,the method can be applied to other fracturing technologies,such as explosive fracturing(EF)within HF formations,indicating its broader applicability and potential impact on optimizing unconventional resource extraction technologies. 展开更多

AIM:To evaluate the effect of bone morphogenetic protein-6(BMP-6)on transforming growth factor(TGF)-β_(2)-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in retinal pigment epithelium(RPE).METHODS:Adult retinal pigment epithelial cell line(ARPE-19)were randomly divided into control,TGF-β_(2)(5μg/L),and BMP-6 small interfering RNA(siRNA)group.The cell morphology was observed by microscopy,and the cell migration ability were detected by Transwell chamber.The EMT-related indexes and BMP-6 protein levels were detected by Western blotting.Furthermore,a BMP-6 overexpression plasmid was constructed and RPE cells were divided into the control group,TGF-β_(2)+empty plasmid group,BMP-6 overexpression group,and TGF-β_(2)+BMP-6 overexpression group.The EMT-related indexes and extracellular regulated protein kinases(ERK)protein levels were detected.RESULTS:Compared with the control group,the migration of RPE cells in the TGF-β_(2) group was significantly enhanced.TGF-β_(2) increased the protein expression levels ofα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),fibronectin and vimentin but significantly decreased the protein levels of E-cadherin and BMP-6(P<0.05)in RPE.Similarly,the migration of RPE cells in the BMP-6 siRNA group was also significantly enhanced.BMP-6 siRNA increased the protein expression levels ofα-SMA,fibronectin and vimentin but significantly decreased the protein expression levels of E-cadherin(P<0.05).Overexpression of BMP-6 inhibited the migration of RPE cells induced by TGF-β_(2) and prevented TGF-β_(2) from affecting EMT-related biomarkers(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:BMP-6 prevents the EMT in RPE cells induced by TGF-β_(2),which may provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of proliferative vitreoretinopathy. 展开更多

The dielectric properties and phase transition characteristics of La2O3- and Sb2O3-doped barium strontium titanate ceramics prepared by solid state route were investigated. The microstructure was identified by X-ray diffraction method and scanning electron microscope was also employed to observe the surface morphologies. It is found that (La,Sb)-codoped barium strontium titanate ceramics exhibit typical perovskite structure and the average grain size decreases dramatically with increasing the content of Sb2O3. Both La3+ ions and Sb3+ ions occupy the A-sites in perovskite lattice. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of barium strontium titanate based ceramics are obviously influenced by La2O3 as well as Sb2O3 addition content. The tetragonal-cubic phase transition of La2O3 modified barium strontium titanate ceramics is of second order and the Curie temperature shifts to lower value with increasing the La2O3 doping content. The phase transition of (La,Sb)-codoped barium strontium titanate ceramics diffuses and the deviation from Curie-Weiss law becomes more obvious with the increase in Sb2O3 concentration. The temperature corresponding to the dielectric constant maximum of (La,Sb)-codoped barium strontium titanate ceramics decreases with increasing the Sb2O3 content, which is attributed to the replacement of host ions by the Sb3+ ions. 展开更多

AIM To clarify the role of proteinase-activated receptor 2(PAR2) in hepatocellular carcinoma, especially in the process of metastasis.METHODS PAR2 expression levels were assessed by qRT-PCR and immunohistochemistry(IHC) in patient tissues and in hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines SMMC-7721 and Hep G2. Cell proliferation and metastasis were assessed both in vitro and in vitro. Immunoblotting was carried out to monitor the levels of mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) and epithelial-mesenchymal transition markers.RESULTS The prognosis was significantly poorer in patients with high PAR2 levels than in those with low PAR2 levels. Patients with high PAR2 levels had advanced tumor stage(P = 0.001, chi-square test), larger tumor size(P = 0.032, chi-square test), and high microvascular invasion rate(P = 0.037, chi-square test). The proliferation and metastasis ability of SMMC-7721 and Hep G2 cells was increased after PAR2 overexpression, while knockdown of PAR2 decreased the proliferation and metastasis ability of SMMC-7721 and Hep G2 cells. Knockdown of PAR2 also inhibited hepatocellular carcinoma tumor cell growth and liver metastasis in nude mice. Mechanistically, PAR2 increased the proliferation ability of SMMC-7721 and Hep G2 cells via ERK activation. Activated ERK further promoted the epithelial-mesenchymal transition of these cells, which endowed them with enhanced migration and invasion ability. CONCLUSION These data suggest that PAR2 plays an important role in the proliferation and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma. Therefore, targeting PAR2 may present a favorable target for treatment of this malignancy. 展开更多

The electrochemical conversion of CO2 into value-added chemicals and fuels has attracted wide-spread concern since it realizes the recycling of greenhouse gases. Production of new materials lies at the very core of this technology as it enables the improvement of developmental efficiency and selectivity by chemical optimization of morphology and electronic structure. Transition metal-based catalysts are particularly appealing as their d bands have valence electrons which are close to the Fermi level and hence overcome the intrinsic activation barriers and reaction kinetics. The study of Mo, Fe, Co, and Ni-based materials in particular is a very recent research subject that offers various possibilities in electrochemical CO2 reduction applications. Herein, we summarize the recent re-search progress of Mo, Fe, Co, and Ni-based catalysts and their catalytic behavior in electrochemical CO〈sub〉2 reduction. We particularly focus on the relationship between structures and properties, with examples of the key features accounting for the high efficiency and selectivity of the CO2 reduction process. The most significant experimental and theoretical improvements are highlighted. Finally, we concisely discuss the scientific challenges and opportunities for transition metal-based catalysts. 展开更多

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between methylation status of the insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF-2) gene and methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) C677T gene polymorphisms in bladder transitional cell carcinoma tissues in a Chinese population. The polymorphisms of the folate metabolism enzyme gene MTHFR were studied by restrictive fragment length polymorphism (RFLP), PCR-based methods of DNA methylation analysis were used to detect the CpG island methylation status of the IGF-2 gene. The association between the methylation status of the IGF-2 gene and clinical characteristics, as well as MTHFR C677T polymorphisms, was analyzed. Aberrant hypomethylation of the IGF-2 gene was found in 68.3% bladder cancer tissues and 12.4% normal bladder tissues, respectively, while hypomethylation was not detected in almost all normal bladder tissues. The hypomethylation rate of the IGF-2 gene in cancer tissues was significantly higher in patients with lymph node metastasis than in those without lymph node metastasis (46.3% vs 17.2%, P = 0.018). No association was found between aberrant DNA methylation and selected factors including sex, age, tobacco smoking, alcohol consumption and green tea consumption. After adjusting for potential confounding variables the variant allele of MTHFR C677T was found to be associated with hypomethylation of the IGF-2 gene. Compared with wildtype CC, the odds ratio was 4.33 (95% CI=1.06-10.59) for CT and 4,95 (95% CI=1.18-12.74) for TT. MTHFR 677 CC and CT genotypes might be one of the reasons that cause abnormal hypomethylation of the IGF-2 gene, and the aberrant CpG island hypomethylation of the IGF-2 gene may contribute to the genesis and progression of bladder transitional cell carcinoma. 展开更多

As a cell cycle regulator, the Myb-related CDC5 protein was reported to be essential for the G2 phase of the cell cycle in yeast and animals, but little is known about its function in plants. Here we report the functional characterization of the CDC5 gene in Arabidopsis thaliana. Arabidopsis CDC5 (AtCDC5) is mainly expressed in tissues with high cell division activity, and is expressed throughout the entire process of embryo formation. The AtCDC5 loss-of-function mutant is embryonic lethal. In order to investigate the function of AtCDC5 in vivo, we generated AtCDC5-RNAi plants in which the expression of AtCDC5 was reduced by RNA interference. We found that the G2 to M (G2/M) phase transition was affected in the AtCDC5-RNAi plants, and that endoreduplication was increased. Additionally, the maintenance of shoot apical meristem (SAM) function was disturbed in the AtCDC5-RNAi plants, in which both the WUSCHEL (WUS)- CLAVATA (CLV) and the SHOOT MERISTEMLESS (STM) pathways were impaired. In situ hybridization analysis showed that the expression of STMwas greatly reduced in the shoot apical cells of the AtCDC5-RNAi plants. Moreover, cyclinB1 or Histone4 was found to be expressed in some of these cells when the transcript of STM was undetectable. These results suggest that AtCDC5 is essential for the G2/M phase transition and may regulate the function of SAM by controlling the expression ofSTMand WUS. 展开更多

Objective To explore the protective effects of dexmedetomidine(Dex)against high glucose-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition in HK-2 cells and relevant mechanisms.Methods HK-2 cells were exposed to either glucose or glucose+Dex for 6 h.The production of ROS,morphology of HK-2 cells,and cell cycle were detected.Moreover,the expression of AKT,p-AKT,ERK,pERK,PI3 K,E-Cadherin,Claudin-1,andα-SMA were determined and compared between HK-2 cells exposed to glucose and those exposed to both glucose and Dex with or without PI3 K/AKT pathway inhibitor LY294002 and ERK pathway inhibitor U0126.Results Compared with HK-2 cells exposed to high level of glucose,the HK-2 cells exposed to both high level of glucose and Dex showed:(1)lower level of ROS production;(2)cell morphology was complete;(3)more cells in G1 phase;(4)lower expression of p-AKT,p-ERK andα-SMA,higher expression of ECadherin and Claudin-1.PI3 K/AKT inhibitor LY294002 and ERK inhibitor U0126 decreased the expression of p-AKT,p-ERK andα-SMA,and increased the expression of E-Cadherin and Claudin-1.Conclusion Dex can attenuate high glucose-induced HK-2 epithelial-mesenchymal transition by inhibiting AKT and ERK. 展开更多

Transition metal dichalcogenides, featuring layered structures, have aroused enormous interest as a platform for novel physical phenomena and a wide range of potential applications. Among them, special interest has been placed upon WTe_2 and MoTe_2, which exhibit non-trivial topology both in single layer and bulk as well as pressure induced or enhanced superconductivity. We study another distorted IT material NbTe_2 through systematic electrical transport measurements. Intrinsic superconductivity with onset transition temperature(T_c^(onset)) up to 0.72 K is detected where the upper critical field(H_c) shows unconventional quasi-linear behavior,indicating spin-orbit coupling induced p-wave paring. Furthermore, a general model is proposed to fit the angledependent magnetoresistance, which reveals the Fermi surface anisotropy of NbTe_2. Finally, non-saturating linear magnetoresistance up to 50 T is observed and attributed to the quantum limit transport. 展开更多

The phase transition, elastic and electronic properties of three phases(phase Ⅰ,Ⅱ, and Ⅲ) of Sb_2Te_3 are investigated by using the generalized gradient approximation(GGA) with the PBESOL exchange–correlation functional in the framework of density-functional theory. Some basic physical parameters, such as lattice constants, bulk modulus, shear modulus,Young's modulus, Poisson's ratio, acoustic velocity, and Debye temperature Θ are calculated. The obtained lattice parameters under various pressures are consistent with experimental data. Phase transition pressures are 9.4 GPa(Ⅰ→Ⅱ) and 14.1 GPa(Ⅱ→Ⅲ), which are in agreement with the experimental results. According to calculated elastic constants, we also discuss the ductile or brittle characters and elastic anisotropies of three phases. Phases Ⅰ and Ⅲ are brittle, while phaseⅡ is ductile. Of the three phases, phaseⅡ has the most serious degree of elastic anisotropy and phase Ⅲ has the slightest one.Finally, we investigate the partial densities of states(PDOSs) of three phases and find that the three phases possess some covalent features. 展开更多

"Continuous" tight gas reservoirs are those reservoirs which develop in widespread tight sandstones with a continuous distribution of natural gas. In this paper, we summarize the geological features of the source rocks and "'continuous" tight gas reservoirs in the Xujiahe Formation of the middle- south transition region, Sichuan Basin. The source rocks of the Xul Member and reservoir rocks of the Xu2 Member are thick (Xul Member: 40 m, Xu2 Member: 120 m) and are distributed continuously in this study area. The results of drilled wells show that the widespread sandstone reservoirs of the Xu2 Member are charged with natural gas. Therefore, the natural gas reservoirs of the Xu2 Member in the middle-south transition region are "continuous" tight gas reservoirs. The accumulation of "continuous" tight gas reservoirs is controlled by an adequate driving force of the pressure differences between source rocks and reservoirs, which is demonstrated by a "one-dimensional" physical simulation experiment. In this simulation, the natural gas of"continuous" tight gas reservoirs moves tbrward with no preferential petroleum migration pathways (PPMP), and the natural gas saturation of"continuous" tight gas reservoirs is higher than that of conventional reservoirs. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Pancreatic cancer(PC)is one of the deadliest cancers worldwide.PC metastasis involves a complex set of events,including epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT),that increase tumor cell invasiveness.Recent evidence has shown that hypoxia is a major EMT regulator in pancreatic cancer cells and facilitates metastasis;however,the mechanisms remain elusive.AIM To investigate the role of miR-301a in hypoxia-induced EMT in PC cells.METHODS Real-time PCR and Western blot analysis were used to detect the expression of miR-301a and EMT markers in PDAC cells cultured in hypoxic and normoxic conditions.Western blot analysis was used to detect the expression of EMT markers in PDAC cells with miR-301a overexpression.Wound healing assay and Transwell assay were used to detect the migration capabilities of PDAC cells with miR-301a overexpression and knockout.Luciferase assay was used to detect the miR-301a promoter and the 3’untranslated region activity of TP63.Orthotopic PC mouse models were used to study the role of miR-301a in metastasis of PDAC cells in vivo.In situ hybridization assay was used to detect the expression of miR-301a in PDAC patient samples(adjacent paratumor and paired tumor tissues).RESULTS Hypoxic environment could directly promote the EMT of PC cells.The expression level of miR-301a was increased in a HIF2αdependent manner in hypoxia-cultured CFPAC-1 and BxPC-3 cells.Overexpression of miR-301a enhanced the hypoxia-induced EMT of PC cells,while knocking out miR-301a result in the suppression of hypoxia-induced EMT.TP63 was a direct target of miR-301a and involved in the metastatic process of PC cells.Furthermore,miR-301a upregulation facilitated PDAC distant metastasis and lymph node metastasis in vivo.Additionally,miR-301a overexpression was indicative of aggressive clinicopathological behaviors and poor prognosis.CONCLUSION The newly identified HIF-2α-miR301a-TP63 signaling pathway may play a crucial role in hypoxia-induced EMT in PDAC cells. 展开更多

The continuous increase of global atmospheric CO_(2) concentrations brutally damages our environment. A series of methods have been developed to convert CO_(2) to valuable fuels and value-added chemicals to maintain the equilibrium of carbon cycles. The electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR) is one of the promising methods to produce fuels and chemicals, and it could offer sustainable paths to decrease carbon intensity and support renewable energy. Thus, significant research efforts and highly efficient catalysts are essential for converting CO_(2) into other valuable chemicals and fuels. Transition metal-based single atoms catalysts(TM-SACs) have recently received much attention and offer outstanding electrochemical applications with high activity and selectivity opportunities. By taking advantage of both heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysts, TM-SACs are the new rising star for electrochemical conversion of CO_(2) to the value-added product with high selectivity. In recent years, enormous research effort has been made to synthesize different TM-SACs with different M–Nxsites and study the electrochemical conversion of CO_(2) to CO. This review has discussed the development and characterization of different TMSACs with various catalytic sites, fundamental understanding of the electrochemical process in CO_(2) RR,intrinsic catalytic activity, and molecular strategics of SACs responsible for CO_(2)RR. Furthermore, we extensively review previous studies on 1 st-row transition metals TM-SACs(Ni, Co, Fe, Cu, Zn, Sn) and dual-atom catalysts(DACs) utilized for electrochemical CO_(2) conversions and highlight the opportunities and challenges. 展开更多

Inefficient charge separation and limited light absorption are two critical issues associated with high‐efficiency photocatalytic H2production using TiO2.Surface defects within a certain concentration range in photocatalyst materials are beneficial for photocatalytic activity.In this study,surface defects(oxygen vacancies and metal cation replacement defects)were induced with a facile and effective approach by surface doping with low‐cost transition metals(Co,Ni,Cu,and Mn)on ultrafine TiO2.The obtained surface‐defective TiO2exhibited a3–4‐fold improved activity compared to that of the original ultrafine TiO2.In addition,a H2production rate of3.4μmol/h was obtained using visible light(λ>420nm)irradiation.The apparent quantum yield(AQY)at365nm reached36.9%over TiO2‐Cu,significantly more than the commercial P25TiO2.The enhancement of photocatalytic H2production activity can be attributed to improved rapid charge separation efficiency andexpanded light absorption window.This hydrothermal treatment with transition metal was proven to be a very facile and effective method for obtaining surface defects. 展开更多

The VO2 powders were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis.The effects of heat treatment conditions and Y-doping on the structure and phase transition temperature of VO2 were studied.The XRD,SEM and TEM results show that the heat treatment temperature has a significant effect on the crystal transformation of VO2 precursor.Increasing temperature is conducive to the transformation of precursor VO2(B)to ultrafine VO2(M).The Y-doping affects the structure of VO2.Y^3+can occupy the lattice position of V4+to form YVO4 solid solution,which can increase the cell parameters of VO2.Due to the lattice deformation caused by Y-doping,the aggregation of particles is prevented,and the grain is refined obviously.DSC curves show that Y-doping can reduce the phase transition temperature of VO2(M).After adding 9 at.%Y,the phase transition temperature can be reduced from 68.3 to 61.3℃. 展开更多
