The impact sensitivity assessment of spacecraft is to obtain the probability of spacecraft encountering the OD/M(orbital debris or meteoroid),which is a prerequisite for survivability assessment of on-orbit spacecraft...The impact sensitivity assessment of spacecraft is to obtain the probability of spacecraft encountering the OD/M(orbital debris or meteoroid),which is a prerequisite for survivability assessment of on-orbit spacecraft.An impact sensitivity assessment method of spacecraft based on virtual exterior wall was proposed to improve the computational efficiency.This method eliminates determination of the outermost surface elements of the spacecraft before generating the debris rays,which are assumed to originate from a non-concave virtual wall that completely wraps the spacecraft.The Dist Mesh method was adopted for the generating of the virtual wall to ensure its mesh quality.The influences of the sizes,mesh densities,shapes of the virtual wall on the efficiency and accuracy were considered to obtain the best combination of the size and mesh density of the wall and spacecraft.The results of this method were compared with those of S3DE(Survivability of Spacecraft in Space Debris Environment),BUMPER,MDPANTO,ESABASE2/Debris to verify the feasibility of the method.The PCHIP(Piecewise Cubic Hermite Interpolating Polynomial)was used to fit the size vs.flux relationship of the space debris to acquire the impact probability of OD/M with arbitrary size on the spacecraft.展开更多

The main purpose of this article is to introduce the spaces e0^r△^（m））, ec^r△^（m））, and e∞^r△^（m））consisting of all sequences whose mth order differences are in the Euler spaces e0^r, ec^r, and e∞^r, respectively. Moreover, the authors give some topological properties and inclusion relations, and determine the α-, β-, and γ-duals of the spaces e0^r△^（m））, ec^r△^（m））, and e∞^r△^（m））, and the Schauder basis of the spaces e0^r△^（m））, ec^r△^（m））. In our paper, we add a new supplementary aspect to their research by characterizing classes of compact operators on those spaces. For that purpose, the spaces are treated as the matrix domains of a triangle in the classical sequence spaces c 0 , c and ∞ . The main tool for our characterizations is the Hausdorff measure of noncompactness.展开更多

A specific training sequence is first embedded in each data packet. By recursive least-squares (RLS) estimation, the channel information parameters can be acquired, and a fractionally spaced equalizer performs joint decoding and equalization. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can acquire the channel information parameters rapidly and accurately, and that the fractionally spaced equalizer can eliminate the intersymbol interference (ISI) effectively, and is not sensitive to timing inaccuracy, so this algorithm can be exploited for demodulation system in burst mode.展开更多

The MS...Asymptotic results are obtained using an approach based on limit theorem results obtained for α-mixing sequences for the class of general spacings (GSP) methods which include the maximum spacings (MSP) method. The MSP method has been shown to be very useful for estimating parameters for univariate continuous models with a shift at the origin which are often encountered in loss models of actuarial science and extreme models. The MSP estimators have also been shown to be as efficient as maximum likelihood estimators in general and can be used as an alternative method when ML method might have numerical difficulties for some parametric models. Asymptotic properties are presented in a unified way. Robustness results for estimation and parameter testing results which facilitate the applications of the GSP methods are also included and related to quasi-likelihood results.展开更多
