Sediment contents from 1...The sediment content of the Yellow River is resulted from the interactions of natural, economic, and social factors, so it includes some evolutive information of the Yellow River Basin system. Sediment contents from 1952 to 2007 on Toudaoguai, Tongguan, Huayuankou and Lijin sections along the river are chosen as the study time series, and correlation dimensions (D2), Kolmogorov entropies (K2), and Hurst indexes (H) of the time series were calculated. Correlation dimensions on Toudaoguai, Tongguan, Huayuankou, and Lijin sections are 3.24, 5.69, 6.57 and 7.34 respectively, and the Kolmogorov entropies are 0.13, 0.37, 0.40 and 0.38 respectively, which indicates that the systems controlled by different sections along the Yellow River are chaotic systems and the chaotic degrees increase gradually from the upper to lower section. The average predictable period of the sediment contents is 8 years on Toudaoguai section and 3 years on the other sections with the reciprocals of the Kolmogorov entropies. The more obvious the chaotic degree is, the shorter the average predictable period is. Hurst indexes on the sections are above 0.5, with the maximum of 0.86 on Tongguan section and the minimum of 0.68 on Toudaoguai section, which indicates that the time series have persistent trends in the average predictable period. Eight state variables and two control parameters are necessary to construct the dynamic model of the Yellow River Basin system.展开更多
With super hybrid rice cultivar Y Liangyou 1 as the experimental material, seed-setting rate, abortive grain rate, empty grain rate and 1 000-seed weight were investigated for continuous 10 days since the first day po...With super hybrid rice cultivar Y Liangyou 1 as the experimental material, seed-setting rate, abortive grain rate, empty grain rate and 1 000-seed weight were investigated for continuous 10 days since the first day post-harvest to reveal the correlation between differences in seed-setting characters of rice and seed investiga- tion time. The results indicated that seed-setting rate, abortive grain rate, empty grain rate and 1 000-seed weight varied at different seed investigation time. With the postponement of seed investigation, seed-setting rate and 1 000-seed weight showed downward trends, abortive grain rate showed an upward trend, while empty grain rate exhibited a significant correlation with seed investigation time. Seed-setting rate, abortive grain rate and 1 000-seed weight exhibited no significant differences within the first three days after the harvest; since day 4, seed-setting rate and 1000-seed weight declined remarkably, while abortive grain rate increased signifi- cantly. Based on the correlation between seed-setting characters of rice and seed investigation time, the analysis of seed-setting characters of rice and other cereal crops should be completed within the first three days after the harvest, thereby im- proving the accuracy of relative conclusion.展开更多
Recent advancement in low-cost cameras has facilitated surveillance in various developing towns in India.The video obtained from such surveillance are of low quality.Still counting vehicles from such videos are necess...Recent advancement in low-cost cameras has facilitated surveillance in various developing towns in India.The video obtained from such surveillance are of low quality.Still counting vehicles from such videos are necessity to avoid traf-fic congestion and allows drivers to plan their routes more precisely.On the other hand,detecting vehicles from such low quality videos are highly challenging with vision based methodologies.In this research a meticulous attempt is made to access low-quality videos to describe traffic in Salem town in India,which is mostly an un-attempted entity by most available sources.In this work profound Detection Transformer(DETR)model is used for object(vehicle)detection.Here vehicles are anticipated in a rush-hour traffic video using a set of loss functions that carry out bipartite coordinating among estimated and information acquired on real attributes.Every frame in the traffic footage has its date and time which is detected and retrieved using Tesseract Optical Character Recognition.The date and time extricated and perceived from the input image are incorporated with the length of the recognized objects acquired from the DETR model.This furnishes the vehicles report with timestamp.Transformer Timeseries Prediction Model(TTPM)is proposed to predict the density of the vehicle for future prediction,here the regular NLP layers have been removed and the encoding temporal layer has been modified.The proposed TTPM error rate outperforms the existing models with RMSE of 4.313 and MAE of 3.812.展开更多
