Rock hardness, drillability, blastability and specific energy of drilling are examples of parameters that have been estimated in the past using measurement while drilling techniques. In order to be able to properly utilize measurement while drilling techniques, it is important to properly collect, analyze and interpret extracted data. This paper deals with processing of measurement while drilling data such as rate of penetration, rotary speed, rotary torque and pulldown force collected from rotary blasthole drills.Different methods are discussed to calculate a true rate of penetration which is the most important monitored drill variable for use in rock mass characterization. Then specific energy of drilling is defined and calculated based on electrical and mechanical inputs and the results are compared. The results show that specific energy of drilling can be estimated using the drill's primary drive systems' electrical responses with good accuracy when compared to values based on mechanical inputs.展开更多

This paper gives an overview of the development-oriented poverty alleviation of advancing entire villages in Ningxia, and then relates the implementation of "1 000-village poverty alleviation program" of Nin...This paper gives an overview of the development-oriented poverty alleviation of advancing entire villages in Ningxia, and then relates the implementation of "1 000-village poverty alleviation program" of Ningxia by stages as follows: at the first stage (2005-2006), 203 villages began to implement the first development-oriented poverty alleviation program of advancing entire villages; at the second stage (2007-2008), the second development-oriented poverty alleviation program of advancing entire villages was implemented. By empirical analysis, the main experience in the process of implementing poverty alleviation model of advancing entire villages is generalized as follows: strengthen the support and help degree and frame feasible implementation planning; develop characteristic industries and expand export of labor services; support poor areas by using technology. Through five years of support, the poverty alleviation model of advancing entire villages achieves initial results: the specific sample survey shows that in the poor villages with smooth development of advancing entire villages and great investments, the farmers' income per capita in whole village can be increased by more than 50% within one year or two years; due to the improvement of road, communication and other conditions, many poor villages can explore new possibilities for production, and better give play to the comparative advantages; the improvement of infrastructure also promotes export of labor services in the poor villages, so as to indirectly increase the income of farmers in poor villages.展开更多
With the rapid development of social economy,the society has entered into a new stage of development,especially in new media under the background of rapid development,makes the importance of news and information to ge...With the rapid development of social economy,the society has entered into a new stage of development,especially in new media under the background of rapid development,makes the importance of news and information to get the comprehensive promotion,and in order to further identify the positive and negative news,should be fully using machine learning methods,based on the emotion to realize the automatic classifying of news,in order to improve the efficiency of news classification.Therefore,the article first makes clear the basic outline of news sentiment classification.Secondly,the specific way of automatic classification of news emotion is deeply analyzed.On the basis of this,the paper puts forward the concrete measures of automatic classification of news emotion by using machine learning.展开更多
Thermoelectric performance largely depends on the reduction of lattice thermal conductivity(kL).The study of the thermal conductivity(k)of a Sb_(2)Te_(3)/graphite nanocomposite system demonstrates-40%reduction in kL w...Thermoelectric performance largely depends on the reduction of lattice thermal conductivity(kL).The study of the thermal conductivity(k)of a Sb_(2)Te_(3)/graphite nanocomposite system demonstrates-40%reduction in kL with graphite incorporation.A plausible explanation of intrinsic low kL observed in Sb_(2)Te_(3) based system is presented by modeling experimental specific heat(Cp)data.Raman spectroscopy measurement combined to X-Ray diffraction data confirms the presence of graphite as separate phase in the composite sample.It is found that phonon scattering dominates heat transport mechanism in the nanostructured Sb_(2)Te_(3)/graphite composite.Large reduction in kL is accomplished by intensifying scattering rate of phonons via various sources.Graphite introduces effective scattering sources,i.e.,defects of different dimensionalities in synthesized nanocomposite sample.Furthermore,graphite mediates phonon-phonon coupling and enhances lattice anharmonicity,which causes an intrinsic scattering of phonons with all frequencies in the Sb_(2)Te_(3)/graphite nanocomposite sample.Dislocation density and phonon anharmonicity of the synthesized samples are estimated from in depth analysis of temperature dependent synchrotron powder diffraction and Raman spectroscopic data.kL value as low as 0.8 W m1 K1 at 300 K,achieved with graphite dispersion in Sb_(2)Te_(3) based composite system makes the present comprehensive study an interesting concept to be developed in thermoelectric materials.展开更多
