Scale-up synthesis of sub-micron ZSM-5 molecular sieve in a quasi-solid system was investigated. Compared with traditional hydrothermal synthesis, the synthesis in a quasi-solid system has the advantages of high yield, short crystallization time, low energy consumption as well as low emissions. However, the high solid content in the quasi-solid system can cause the mass and heat transfer problems and make scalable production difficult. In order to solve the problem, we have developed a method for the optimization of the mass and heat transfer. By this method one can vary the flow field in the reactor by changing the stirrer speed. Scale-up synthesis of the sub-micron ZSM-5 molecular sieve in a quasi-solid system was carried out in a 5 L reactor with double propeller-type agitators. The process was investigated with product characterization using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the flow field information was collected using laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV). The results showed that the flow field patterns can be tuned by using different stirrer speeds, the morphology and size of assynthesized of ZSM-5 can be effectively controlled. 展开更多

Therefore, the external magnetic field distribution in workpiece is critical to understand the interaction mechanisms of the external magnetic field with molten metal flow. In this study, the steady state external magnetic field induced by excitation device is numerically analyzed by using the the finite element software ANSYS and the three dimensional static magnetic scalar method. The distribution of external transverse magnetic field By in workpiece and arc area is calculated, and the influence of excitation current and air-gap distance on the distribution of transverse magnetic field By has been discussed. The magnetic field distribution in workpiece is measured by using a Tesla-Meter and compared with the simulated result. It is found that both are in good agreement. 展开更多

送风方式对高速列车通风和呼吸污染物扩散特性的影响

高速列车交通网络发达且载客量大,但车厢环境封闭易造成污染物的堆积,为提高乘车舒适性和安全性,基于计算流体动力学理论(CFD),建立满载工况的全尺寸车厢通风计算模型.针对排风口位于两侧车窗上端的排风方式,采用速度不均匀系数、温度... 高速列车交通网络发达且载客量大,但车厢环境封闭易造成污染物的堆积,为提高乘车舒适性和安全性,基于计算流体动力学理论(CFD),建立满载工况的全尺寸车厢通风计算模型.针对排风口位于两侧车窗上端的排风方式,采用速度不均匀系数、温度不均匀系数、能量利用系数和通风效率作为列车通风系统的评价指标,对比研究6种送风方式对车厢内流场特性和呼吸污染物扩散特性的影响,包括多孔顶板送风、下部送风、多孔顶板送风+下部送风、局部多孔顶板送风、侧顶送风、局部多孔顶板送风+侧顶送风.研究结果表明:通过调整风口之间的流量分配比例可以使送风气流均匀地流向客室两侧,改善车内温度均匀性;采用下部送风时,有助于提高通风系统的能量利用系数和通风效率,分别高达1.38和1.21,但会恶化车内乘坐舒适性;通过研究乘客之间呼吸污染物的相互影响情况发现,第C列乘客的呼吸污染物容易向第B列乘客的呼吸区域进行扩散,加剧乘客之间的交叉感染;通过减小多孔顶板的送风口尺寸,采用局部多孔顶板送风可以有效缓解该现象,使污染物的体积浓度下降至0.0019. 展开更多

转向架腹板结构对高速列车气动噪声的影响

随着列车运行速度的不断提高,气动噪声问题日益突出,需要有效控制高速列车的气动噪声。为降低高速列车转向架区域的气动噪声,基于IDDES模型与FW-H声学方程,建立转向架不安装腹板及安装腹板的1:8缩比模型,通过数值仿真探究400 km时速下,... 随着列车运行速度的不断提高,气动噪声问题日益突出,需要有效控制高速列车的气动噪声。为降低高速列车转向架区域的气动噪声,基于IDDES模型与FW-H声学方程,建立转向架不安装腹板及安装腹板的1:8缩比模型,通过数值仿真探究400 km时速下,转向架区域安装腹板后流场特性、噪声源强度、远场辐射噪声频谱特性和声压级幅值的变化,分析腹板对整车及转向架区域气动噪声的影响。研究结果表明:转向架区域底部安装腹板后,腹板的导流作用减缓了转向架部位的流体冲击和流体相互作用,抑制了转向架区域涡的形成,各频率下,转向架前、后轮对及构架的脉动压力级明显减小,有效降低了转向架区域气动噪声源的强度;转向架安装腹板后,各测点在200~1 000 Hz以及2 000 Hz以上频段的声压级幅值下降,其远场辐射噪声总声压级幅值也有所降低,其中,整车远场辐射噪声总声压级平均值降低2.33 dB(A),转向架辐射噪声总声压级平均值降低4.03 dB(A),转向架辐射噪声能量占整车辐射噪声能量的比例从53.2%下降到27.8%,转向架区域气动噪声得到有效控制;头车一位端转向架的降噪效果最好,辐射噪声总声压级平均值下降了5.88 dB(A),腹板对转向架辐射噪声的控制主要体现在对前、后轮对及构架等部件辐射噪声的控制。研究结果可为进一步优化高速列车气动噪声提供一定参考。 展开更多

导流板结构对高速列车转向架区域积雪结冰的影响

高速列车转向架在高寒风雪地区存在积雪结冰问题,影响列车的安全运行和运行稳定性能。为了解决高速动车组转向架区域的积雪结冰问题,以保证高速列车运行安全,提高列车冬季运行品质,提出基于流场控制的导流板结构,并针对简化的车体和转... 高速列车转向架在高寒风雪地区存在积雪结冰问题,影响列车的安全运行和运行稳定性能。为了解决高速动车组转向架区域的积雪结冰问题,以保证高速列车运行安全,提高列车冬季运行品质,提出基于流场控制的导流板结构,并针对简化的车体和转向架模型,采用三维雷诺时均Realizable k-ε湍流模型,耦合离散相模型(DPM)进行数值仿真,通过试验验证的湍流计算模型,模拟高速动车组转向架区域流场和雪粒分布情况,明确高速列车转向架区域积雪结冰成因,并分析导流板优化结构对防治积雪结冰的效果。研究结果表明:原始工况中,转向架区域气流速度较高,转向架表面压力较大,安装在前侧的导流板结构,能够有效地改变进入转向架区域的气流流向,降低转向架上方的气流速度,减轻气流对转向架底部表面的气流冲击,降低转向架周围的雪粒分布范围,减少转向架表面的粒子黏附数量。其中,对于第1台转向架,雪花黏附数量相对于原始工况依次减少22.56%、52.15%;对于第2台转向架,雪花黏附数量相对于原始工况依次减少48.50%、49.59%;对于第3台转向架,雪花黏附数量相对于原始工况依次减少50.03%、49.70%。但沿着列车运行方向,导流板的作用减弱。今后将研究真实编组的工况以进一步判断导流板的作用,并开展原理样机的相关试验工作。 展开更多

[目的]针对双排高立式尼龙网阻沙障与草方格固沙障联合应用,开展风洞试验研究,以优化联合沙障中尼龙网阻沙障孔隙度配置及探究各孔隙度下联合沙障的防沙效益。[方法]基于风洞模拟试验数据,开展不同孔隙度(40%,45%,55%)联合沙障,在不同风速下的风速流场、空气动力学粗糙度、摩阻风速、输沙率随高度和阻沙率方面的变化特征研究。[结果](1)相同风速下尼龙网阻沙障孔隙度40%时,联合沙障弱风区面积最大;(2)随着尼龙网阻沙障孔隙度的增大,空气动力学粗糙度和摩阻风速减小,相同风速和相同位置时,40%孔隙度下联合沙障空气动力学粗糙度和摩阻风速值最大;(3)风速增加地表输沙率也增加,联合沙障内部与背风侧输沙率随高度增加呈指数型递减,输沙主要集中在0~12 cm高度内;(4)风速大小与沙障阻沙率呈现负相关变化;阻沙率与孔隙度之间也呈负相关关系,孔隙度为40%的联合沙障具有较高阻沙率;双排高立式尼龙网阻沙措施与草方格固沙措施联合之间还存在阻沙率叠加。[结论]40%孔隙度的双排高立式尼龙网和草方格的阻固联合可以实现较优的配置与防沙效益。 展开更多

高速动车组车顶高压受流设备受运行环境的影响易产生积污积雪现象,进而引发车顶雪闪及高压设备故障问题。为研究高速动车组下沉式受电弓弓盆区域流场特性,文章采用三维不可压缩Navier-Stokes方程和SSTκ-ω双方程湍流模型,对8辆编组高... 高速动车组车顶高压受流设备受运行环境的影响易产生积污积雪现象,进而引发车顶雪闪及高压设备故障问题。为研究高速动车组下沉式受电弓弓盆区域流场特性,文章采用三维不可压缩Navier-Stokes方程和SSTκ-ω双方程湍流模型,对8辆编组高速动车组受电弓区域的压力场和速度场进行了数值模拟。研究结果表明:因受电弓监视器、弓盆结构及受电弓弓头的影响,下沉式受电弓弓盆区域流场3车位置和6车位置差异较大;距离弓盆底部平面不同高度位置处平面速度存在低速涡流区,不利于实现气流对弓盆区域冲刷作用。采用减小弓盆深度和弓盆前后斜面倾角方案对弓盆底部区域流场进行了优化,3车受电弓弓盆0~8m/s低速区域占比从61.03%降低至39.68%和6.27%,6车受电弓弓盆0~8m/s低速区域占比从45.77%降低至32.54%和20.39%,气流速度得到明显改善,可以有效避免污物和雪颗粒沉积。 展开更多

Based on the analyses of aluminum melt flow, solidification, heat transfer during the process of twin-roll casting, a coupling mathematical model of aluminum thin-gauge high-speed casting was developed, which included the casting roller shell. At the same time, Galerkin method was adopted to solve the coupling model. The fluid field and temperature field of aluminum melt in casting zone, the temperature field and thermal stress field of roller shells were simulated by the coupling model. When the casting velocity is 7m/min, and the thickness of strip is 2mm, the circumfluent area comes into being in the casting zone, and the mushy zone dominates the casting zone, while the temperature of melt decreases rapidly as it approaches the rollers. The temperature of the roller shell varies periodically with the rotation of roller, and reaches the highest temperature in the casting zone, while the temperature of roller shell decreases gradually as it leaves the casting zone. The difference of thermal stress between the inner surface and outer surface of the roller shell is very large, and the outer surface suffers tensile-compressive stress. 展开更多

Common characteristic is that none of them approaches the speed behavior of motorcycles since they are excluded from the datasets of the various studies. Instead, the models usually predict operating speed for other vehicle types such as passenger cars, vans, pickups and trucks. The present paper aims to cover this gap by developing speed prediction equations for motorcycles. For this purpose a new methodology is proposed while field measurements were carried out in order to obtain an adequate dataset of free-flow speeds along the curved sections of three different two lane rural roads. The aforementioned field measurements were conducted by two participants incorporating various road conditions (e.g. light conditions, experience level, familiarity with the routes). The ultimate target was the development of speed prediction equations by calculating the optimum regression curves between the curve radius’ and the corresponding velocities for the different road conditions. The research revealed that the proposed methodology could be used as a very useful tool to investigate motorcyclists’ behavior at curved road sections. In order to consider the influence of steel pole on the measurement of wind speed sensors and determinate the installation position of wind speed sensors, the flow field around wind speed sensors was investigated. Based on the three-dimensional steady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations and k-ε double equations turbulent model, the field flow around the wind speed sensor and the steel pole along a high-speed railway was simulated on an unstructured grid. The grid-independent validation was conducted and the accuracy of the present numerical simulation method was validated by experiments and simulations carried out by previous researchers. Results show that the steel pole has a significant influence on the measurement results of wind speed sensors. As the distance between two wind speed sensors is varied from 0.3 to 1.0 m, the impact angles are less than ±20°, it is proposed that the distance between two wind speed sensors is 0.8 m at least, and the interval between wind speed sensors and the steel pole is more than 1.0 m with the sensors located on the upstream side. 展开更多

The instantaneous variations of the hydraulic characteristics take place in centrifugal pumps during their start-up,shutdown and other variable speed operations.In this paper,the variable speed method was proposed to simulate the transient internal flow field and the external performance of the pump during starting and stopping periods.The terms of accelerations due to variable speeds in the flow governing equations were analyzed in a multiple reference of frame(MRF).A transient CFD simulation was performed for a typical centrifugal pump by using ANSYS-CFX with the standard k-εturbulence model.The entire simulation process was composed of four stages:start-up,normal run,shutdown and post-shutdown.The function of rotating speed with regard to time was set by CEL language directly into the impeller domain in the pre-processor of the software to conduct variable speed simulation.The variations of the flow field in the centrifugal pump were obtained from the transient simulation.The changing laws of flow rate,head and other performance parameters over time were also analyzed and summarized. 展开更多
