Recent research in cross-domain intelligence fault diagnosis of machinery still has some problems,such as relatively ideal speed conditions and sample conditions.In engineering practice,the rotational speed of the mac...Recent research in cross-domain intelligence fault diagnosis of machinery still has some problems,such as relatively ideal speed conditions and sample conditions.In engineering practice,the rotational speed of the machine is often transient and time-varying,which makes the sample annotation increasingly expensive.Meanwhile,the number of samples collected from different health states is often unbalanced.To deal with the above challenges,a complementary-label(CL)adversarial domain adaptation fault diagnosis network(CLADAN)is proposed under time-varying rotational speed and weakly-supervised conditions.In the weakly supervised learning condition,machine prior information is used for sample annotation via cost-friendly complementary label learning.A diagnosticmodel learning strategywith discretized category probabilities is designed to avoidmulti-peak distribution of prediction results.In adversarial training process,we developed virtual adversarial regularization(VAR)strategy,which further enhances the robustness of the model by adding adversarial perturbations in the target domain.Comparative experiments on two case studies validated the superior performance of the proposed method.展开更多
Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)have achieved great success in many computer vision tasks.However,it is difficult to deploy CNN models on low-cost devices with limited power budgets,because most existing CNN models ...Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)have achieved great success in many computer vision tasks.However,it is difficult to deploy CNN models on low-cost devices with limited power budgets,because most existing CNN models are computationally expensive.Therefore,CNN model compression and acceleration have become a hot research topic in the deep learning area.Typical schemes for speeding up the feed-forward process with a slight accuracy loss include parameter pruning and sharing,low-rank factorization,compact convolutional filters and knowledge distillation.In this study,we propose a general acceleration scheme that replaces the floating-point multiplication with integer addition.To this end,we propose a general accelerate scheme,where the floating point multiplication is replaced by integer addition.The motivation is based on the fact that every floating point can be replaced by the summation of an exponential series.Therefore,the multiplication between two floating points can be converted to the addition among exponentials.In the experiment section,we directly apply the proposed scheme to AlexNet,VGG,ResNet for image classification,and Faster-RCNN for object detection.The results acquired from ImageNet and PASCAL VOC show that the proposed quantized scheme has a promising performance,even with only one item of exponential.Moreover,we analyzed the eciency of our method on mainstream FPGAs.The experimental results show that the proposed quantized scheme can achieve acceleration on FPGA with a slight accuracy loss.展开更多

Because of the spreading and weathering, crude-oil spill usually covers a large area of water surface and its viscosity is very high, which brings hu- man great trouble to clean it up. Dispersant and in-situ burn- ing were frequently used in the past crude-oil spill accidents, but these two methods suffered from the drawbacks includ- ing being toxic to marine lives, causing air pollution, disabil- ity of recovering the crude oil. To simulate the transonic atomization jet process in Laval nozzles,to test the law of droplet atomization and distribution,to find a method of supersonic atomization for dust-removing nozzles,and to improve nozzle eff...To simulate the transonic atomization jet process in Laval nozzles,to test the law of droplet atomization and distribution,to find a method of supersonic atomization for dust-removing nozzles,and to improve nozzle efficiency,the finite element method has been used in this study based on the COMSOL computational fluid dynamics module.The study results showed that the process cannot be realized alone under the two-dimensional axisymmetric,three-dimensional and three-dimensional symmetric models,but it can be calculated with the transformation dimension method,which uses the parameter equations generated from the two-dimensional axisymmetric flow field data of the three-dimensional model.The visualization of this complex process,which is difficult to measure and analyze experimentally,was realized in this study.The physical process,macro phenomena and particle distribution of supersonic atomization are analyzed in combination with this simulation.The rationality of the simulation was verified by experiments.A new method for the study of the atomization process and the exploration of its mechanism in a compressible transonic speed flow field based on the Laval nozzle has been provided,and a numerical platform for the study of supersonic atomization dust removal has been established.展开更多

Bridges crossing active faults are more likely to suffer serious damage or even collapse due to the wreck capabilities of near-fault pulses and surface ruptures under earthquakes.Taking a high-speed railway simply-sup...Bridges crossing active faults are more likely to suffer serious damage or even collapse due to the wreck capabilities of near-fault pulses and surface ruptures under earthquakes.Taking a high-speed railway simply-supported girder bridge with eight spans crossing an active strike-slip fault as the research object,a refined coupling dynamic model of the high-speed train-CRTS III slab ballastless track-bridge system was established based on ABAQUS.The rationality of the established model was thoroughly discussed.The horizontal ground motions in a fault rupture zone were simulated and transient dynamic analyses of the high-speed train-track-bridge coupling system under 3-dimensional seismic excitations were subsequently performed.The safe running speed limits of a high-speed train under different earthquake levels(frequent occurrence,design and rare occurrence)were assessed based on wheel-rail dynamic(lateral wheel-rail force,derailment coefficient and wheel-load reduction rate)and rail deformation(rail dislocation,parallel turning angle and turning angle)indicators.Parameter optimization was then investigated in terms of the rail fastener stiffness and isolation layer friction coefficient.Results of the wheel-rail dynamic indicators demonstrate the safe running speed limits for the high-speed train to be approximately 200 km/h and 80 km/h under frequent and design earthquakes,while the train is unable to run safely under rare earthquakes.In addition,the rail deformations under frequent,design and rare earthquakes meet the safe running requirements of the high-speed train for the speeds of 250,100 and 50 km/h,respectively.The speed limits determined for the wheel-rail dynamic indicators are lower due to the complex coupling effect of the train-track-bridge system under track irregularity.The running safety of the train was improved by increasing the fastener stiffness and isolation layer friction coefficient.At the rail fastener lateral stiffness of 60 kN/mm and isolation layer friction coefficients of 0.9 and 0.8,respectively,the safe running speed limits of the high-speed train increased to 250 km/h and 100 km/h under frequent and design earthquakes,respectively.展开更多
