"Skeleton" and "Spirit" of Architecture——With the Library in Henan University of Urban Construction as a Study Case

This study,taking the library in Henan University of Urban Construction for an example,points out that constant elements in the evaluation system of architecture are its "skeleton" and "spirit",that is,"space" and "spirit of place".Through analyzing the significant role of space in modern architecture and the appeal of spirit of place to construction users,it is explained that space and spirit of place are closely related and mutually dependent.

Landscape Pattern and Its Spirit of Place under the Influence of Zen Doctrine——Analysis and Evaluation of Landscape Environment of Wenshu Temple in Chengdu City of China

The paper had illustrated current status of Chinese temple gardens and background of Wenshu Temple in Chengdu City,analyzed that landscape spatial pattern of Wenshu Temple was characterized by introverted enclosed quadrangle courtyard including religious activity zone,life activities zone and garden rest zone.It also discussed the influences of artistic conception of Zen on spirit of place of landscape space in the perspectives of Zen architectural factors,introverted national culture,religious color of architectural space,and cultural landscape.It had proposed that there existed imperfections in later management of greening and landscaping in Wenshu Temple,and some problems such as enclosed space and isolated space from surrounding historical and cultural carrier.It pointed out that landscape perseverance was a long process and it should not restrict to protection of internal environment of carrier space but should enhance restoration of external part and relevant parts to display cultural and economic value of historical and cultural carrier.

Analysis of Spatial Characteristics and Spirit of Place:Interpretation of Eighteen-Step Ladder Heritage in Chongqing Municipality of China

Taking Eighteen-Step Ladder in Chongqing Municipality of China for example,physical space forms of street space structure,space hierarchy,street scale,and unit architectural type were elaborated to explore the relation between spatial characteristics and spirit of place of traditional blocks.

Protection and Renovation Strategies for Ancient Town Architectural Space Design from the Perspective of Place Spirit Theory:A Case Study of Hekou Ancient Town,Yanshan County of Jiangxi Province

The protection and renovation of ancient town space design has been widely concerned by all walks of society and professionals of all disciplines.However,in the process of design protection and renovation,there are various serious problems such as lack of the core functions are weak,loss of historical context protection,and disappearance of architectural space design features.As an important commercial transportation hub town in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Hekou Ancient Town has become increasingly weak.From the perspective of the place spirit(Genius Loci)theory,this paper followed the design principle of"use function enhancement,spatial feature extension and life situation experience",and elaborated the strategies of space protection and renovation of Hekou Ancient Town design from three aspects:spatial pattern,landscape restoration and landscape node reconstruction,in the hope of enhancing the depth of the inheritance and development of the spiritual culture of ancient towns in China.

Study on Continuity of Temple of Local Land God in Rural Construction Based on the Perspective of Place Spirit

Temple of local land god is a kind of traditional sacrificial architecture in China's village,and is cultural landscape generated under special farming system of China,which reflects the spiritual world of the working people and bears the history of the village. Its protection and continuity must take inheriting the cultural spirit as the most important prerequisite,and "place spirit" established by Norberg Schultz provides important theoretic basis for it. In this paper,based on "place spirit","place spirit" of temple of local land god is interpreted,and important role of "place spirit" in its protection and continuity and the ways to create "place spirit" of temple of local land god are explored.

Reconstruction of Place Spirit in the Street Protection of Hekou Town of Qianshan

Place spirit originates from ancient Rome, and emphasizes whole fusion of objective material environment and subjective consciousness. The introduction of "place spirit" concept in protection work of old town is conducive to further understanding complex relationship between reconstruction of objective material environment and reappearance of traditional culture connotation. The street of Hekou Town of Qianshan is historical one, and its protection and planning are conducting. The street is full of rich marketplace breath and has certain feature. In this paper, started from protection status quo of Hekou Town, we preliminarily discuss how to effectively pass historical information in the protection process and maintain place spirit of old town in modern living environment.

Inheritance of Historical Block Context Based on the Theory of Place Spirit:A Case Study of Nanjing Confucius Temple Historic Block

In the context of“stock planning”,the conservation planning of historic blocks and features has become one of the important issues in recent years,which is also of great significance for the regeneration of architectural heritage value.Based on the theoretical support of Norberg Schulz’s“place spirit”,this paper takes Nanjing Confucius Temple Historic Block as an example to interpret the application of“place spirit”in the protection and renewal of historic block and the inheritance strategy of historical block context.

Analysis of the Development of the Commercial Space Around Metro Stations in Urban Core Areas Based on Place Making: A Case Study of Chunxi Road Metro Station in Chengdu

The metro is the most efficient and convenient public transport system in modern cities. For urban core areas in China, in which the metro was built later, there was more consideration for meeting the traffic needs of cities. However, there are few studies of collaborative planning for metro stations and their surrounding space. Thus, there is an urgent need to conduct research on collaborative planning for metro stations and their surrounding commercial space in urban core areas. Unlike conventional methods of integrated design of stations and cities, this paper, based on the theory of place spirit, took Chunxi Road Metro Station in Chengdu and its surrounding commercial space for example. It explored the pattern and characteristics of the place in the commercial space around the metro station, analyzed the strategies of cultural and commercial integration, as well as architecture, street, landscape and other aspects of the design method in the space, and explored the strategies of place-making and infiltration, providing a reference point for the development and place-making of the commercial space around metro stations in urban core areas.

Architectural Space of Kizil Grottoes Based on the Spirit of Place

As a Buddhist architecture,Kizil Grottoes have important spiritual and cultural value because of its religious spiritual attribute and its growth in a special geographical environment and historical and cultural background.By using the methods of literature collection and field investigation,and taking the place spirit as the theoretical guidance,this paper studies and discusses the architectural layout,spatial form and functional function of different types of caves,and seeks the correlation between architectural material form and consciousness spirit,thereby expounding the place spirit of spatial identity and cultural belonging contained in Buddhist architecture of Kizil Grottoes.

基于场所精神的建筑室内空间设计研究

人与场所交互对话方式是近年来设计者研究的主要方向。建筑室内空间作为人们物质和精神生活的场所,传递着一种生活方式的态度。建筑室内空间的场所精神,映射出社会环境与生产方式多维度空间行为体验逻辑价值认同的特定意义。文章结合场所精神的行为体验研究,通过对“人”的需求尊重来诠释建筑室内空间场所设计的“内在精神气质”,强化人与环境互动的双向作用生成,实现场所空间营造内在价值的有效途径。

辽宁“六地”红色文化融入大学生思想政治教育研究

辽宁“六地”红色文化是辽宁红色文化资源、红色历史、红色故事、红色精神的集中凝练,是大学生思想政治教育的天然教科书。对辽宁“六地”红色文化融入大学生思想政治教育的现状进行实地调研,针对调研发现的问题。提出从“被动学”到“主动学”:红色文化融入大学生主体;从“讲理论”到“重体验”:嵌入式学习红色资源;从“被参与”到“广参与”:红色文化渗入校园文化;从“独唱”到“大合唱”:共同开发红色资源四方面探索辽宁“六地”红色文化融入大学生思想政治教育的新路径。

初探空间诗学视角下的城市公园场所营造

公园作为城市绿色开放空间,是市民亲近自然和放松身心的疗愈场所。在科技数字化世界快速发展过程中,城市公园空间的“同质化”和“碎片化”现象日益严重,如何以“诗性化”和“个性化”为核心,构建“诗情画意”和“个性魅力”的城市公园景观场所,是当前亟待解决的问题。从空间诗学的视角来审视和思考景观,通过空间诗学中的诗性空间与诗性场所精神的理念为切入点,并结合上海松江方塔园的实践案例进行解析,以此来探讨“诗意”在城市公园中的“场所意象”营造策略。这不仅是对城市公园单纯地环境提升,更多地是希望用诗学的场所营造来创造更多的生态价值,探寻出一条耐久重用性的持续设计之道。

场所精神与图式变迁:桂林山水图像的文化逻辑

桂林山水图式语言和图像精神的形成,不仅与独特的喀斯特地景结构有关,而且与人类在此活动形成的场所精神有关。从历史发展来看,桂林山水的场所精神与图式演进包含奇山秀水与文人画图式、抗战热土与时代精神图式、诗意家园与民族风格图式等几个主要类型。

场所精神理论下传统街区文化空间呈现与感知

随着城市的快速发展,传统街区面临着文化空间的传承问题。地方文脉的传承,与地区空间格局的演变、空间特性的延续、人们对区域氛围的感知变化等问题密切相关。选择场所精神理论作为切入点,以北京天桥地区为例,使用质性研究中扎根理论三级编码和地理空间展示与分析方法,从空间格局演变、场所精神分析、文化空间的呈现与场所精神的传承三个方面,对城市传统街区文化空间呈现与感知问题进行研究。结果显示:人们对天桥地区的整体认知体现在“古今具有高知名度的艺术表演区域”这一内涵上。人们通过观看展览演出等活动,体验区域的整体空间氛围,进而感受地方文化。这样的游览模式,适合此类新旧文化空间同时呈现的传统街区。

《二月的烟斗》中的共同体书写

查尔斯·雷德·科恩是奥萨奇部落的美国作家。他的作品《二月的烟斗》讲述了奥萨奇部落中几名成员遭受白人设置的印第安事务所蓄意制造的“意外事故”而反抗的故事。根据费迪南德·滕尼斯的共同体理论,本文从三个方面:血缘共同体、地缘共同体和精神共同体揭示了查尔斯·雷德·科恩的小说《二月的烟斗》中人物之间的互助关系,证明书中大多数的奥萨奇族印第安人,无论老幼,无论他们之间的距离有多远,都是共同体的一部分,也正是这个共同体治愈了主人公所遭受的由白人带来的所有伤害。首先,莫莉和约翰的祖父以不同的方式帮助约翰摆脱危险,从不同角度修复了他的心灵,且他们都与约翰在同一个血缘共同体中,这是约翰能够得到安慰和治愈的最基本要素之一。其次,从小说中可以看出,Mi-keh-wa-ti-an-kah(a Sun Carrier)代表了与约翰属于地域共同体的群体,他对约翰的支持和安慰是地域共同体的凝聚功能,用以治愈主人公。最后,精神共同体中,芭芭拉和汤姆都是那些与约翰没有任何亲缘关系,也没有共同土地的人,但他们仍然在尽最大努力保护约翰,愿意与约翰分担忧愁,分享幸福,在考虑问题和面对危险时将约翰的利益放在首位,是拯救约翰的人。

重构的场所与集体意向——奥洛特卡索旧宅废墟的遗产场地干预及其适应性策略解析

场所精神是与特定场地有着根本性联系的空间品质,人们可以透过场所来认识、挖掘,再阐释地方具体的意义。然而在历史建成环境更新中,适应性再利用在重塑场所精神潜能方面缺乏深入研究。文章在回顾场所精神概念及其在建筑学、遗产保护等领域研究的基础上,首先从理论层面讨论场所精神与适应性再利用的关系;接着以西班牙奥洛特古城卡索旧宅的废墟更新为例,通过对其复合立面、材料语言、场所结构的分析,归纳适应性再利用策略分别在文脉性、过程性和见证性3个维度上对场所精神的重塑;最后指出建筑师对适应性再利用的创新性实践,不仅巧妙地回应了现实的、场地的时空特质,并透过融合日常生活的文化基因,重新定义教堂的纪念性存在,为当代历史建成环境中的遗产场地干预提供新思路。

激活历史密码 再现古都史脉--安徽凤阳“明中都”新传统建筑设计记思

在众多历史文化名城中,城市迅猛发展大大促进了新城区的开发。如何在新城建设中延续文脉,塑造有历史底蕴的新建筑?一直是城市建设者思考与探索的问题。本文以安徽凤阳明中都文化旅游中心、非遗展示中心、云霁社区活动中心三组新传统建筑设计实践为例,以三组新建筑的选址与明中都城之三座祭祀祠庙之间的内在联系为契机,探索三者在明中都、清凤阳府、凤阳县的各时期城市形态变迁中的史脉变化,思考在此类独具特色的历史文化名城建设中,应如何溯城脉,塑造融合传统与当下的新城区建设格局;探索应如何理史脉,顺文脉,选择适宜建筑语言,再造融合史脉传承与场所精神的新传统建筑。凤阳县三组新传统建筑的设计实践,就是对激活历史密码,彰显历史城市史脉、城脉、文脉的一次尝试。

纪念性场所和我国主流意识形态具有内在同构关系。随着我国经济、文化的发展,我国主流意识形态发生了深刻的变化,纪念性场所缺乏日常性的问题越来越凸显。纪念性建筑尺度巨大,形制固化,纪念内容和功能单一的现状与公众渴求更多的公共空间和贴近日常生活的纪念方式产生了巨大矛盾。文章通过分析廖俊波纪念馆设计实例,从群体组织流线、外部公共空间、建筑体量、建筑功能,这四个方面探讨了融入日常的纪念性场所设计方法。
