The deep learning model is overfitted and the accuracy of the test set is reduced when the deep learning model is trained in the network intrusion detection parameters, due to the traditional loss function convergence problem. Firstly, we utilize a network model architecture combining Gelu activation function and deep neural network;Secondly, the cross-entropy loss function is improved to a weighted cross entropy loss function, and at last it is applied to intrusion detection to improve the accuracy of intrusion detection. In order to compare the effect of the experiment, the KDDcup99 data set, which is commonly used in intrusion detection, is selected as the experimental data and use accuracy, precision, recall and F1-score as evaluation parameters. The experimental results show that the model using the weighted cross-entropy loss function combined with the Gelu activation function under the deep neural network architecture improves the evaluation parameters by about 2% compared with the ordinary cross-entropy loss function model. Experiments prove that the weighted cross-entropy loss function can enhance the model’s ability to discriminate samples. 展开更多

Based on the maximum entropy principle a new probability density function (PDF) f(x) for the surface elevation of nonlinear sea waves, X, is derived through performing a coordinate transform of X and solving a variation problem subject to three constraint conditions of f( x ). Compared with the maximum entropy PDFs presented previously, the new PDF has the following merits: (1) it has four parameters to be determined and hence can give more refined fit to observed data and has wider suitability for nonlinear waves in different conditions; (2) these parameters are expressed in terms of distribution moments of X in a relatively simple form and hence are easy to be determined from observed data; (3) the PDF is free of the restriction of weak nonlinearity and possible to be used for sea waves in complicated conditions, such as those in shallow waters with complicated topography; and (4) the PDF is simple in form and hence convenient for theoretical and practical uses. l.aboratory wind-wave experiments have been conducted to test the competence of the new PDF for the surface elevation of nonlinear waves. The experimental results manifest that the new PDF gives somewhat better fit to the laboratory wind-wave data than the well-known Gram-Charlier PDF and beta PDF. 展开更多

The proposed method can find an optimal solution with a relatively small parameter p, which avoids the numerical overflow in the traditional entropy function methods. The Toeplitz equation and Levinson algorithm are used to calculate the iterative formula of error-predicting filter, and receiver function is then estimated. During extrapolation, reflective coefficient is always less than 1, which keeps maximum entropy deconvolution stable. The maximum entropy of the data outside window increases the resolution of receiver function. Both synthetic and real seismograms show that maximum entropy deconvolution is an effective method to measure receiver function in time-domain. 展开更多

This paper deals with the Bayesian estimation of Shannon entropy for the generalized inverse exponential distribution.Assuming that the observed samples are taken from the upper record ranked set sampling(URRSS)and upper record values(URV)schemes.Formulas of Bayesian estimators are derived depending on a gamma prior distribution considering the squared error,linear exponential and precautionary loss functions,in addition,we obtain Bayesian credible intervals.The random-walk Metropolis-Hastings algorithm is handled to generate Markov chain Monte Carlo samples from the posterior distribution.Then,the behavior of the estimates is examined at various record values.The output of the study shows that the entropy Bayesian estimates under URRSS are more convenient than the other estimates under URV in the majority of the situations.Also,the entropy Bayesian estimates perform well as the number of records increases.The obtained results validate the usefulness and efficiency of the URV method.Real data is analyzed for more clarifying purposes which validate the theoretical results. 展开更多

In this work,a self-adjusting entropy-stable scheme is proposed for solving compressible Euler equations.The entropy-stable scheme is constructed by combining the entropy conservative flux with a suitable diffusion operator.The entropy has to be preserved in smooth solutions and be dissipated at shocks.To achieve this,a switch function,which is based on entropy variables,is employed to make the numerical diffusion term be automatically added around discontinuities.The resulting scheme is still entropy-stable.A number of numerical experiments illustrating the robustness and accuracy of the scheme are presented.From these numerical results,we observe a remarkable gain in accuracy. 展开更多

Modification of a fuzzy partition often leads to the change of fuzziness of a fuzzy system. Researches on the change of fuzzy entropy of a fuzzy set, responding to shape alteration of membership function, therefore, play a significant role in analysis of the change of fuzziness of a fuzzy system because a fuzzy partition consists of a set of fuzzy sets which satisfy some special constraints. This paper has shown several results about entropy changes of a fuzzy set. First, the entropies of two same type of fuzzy sets have a constant proportional relationship which depends on the ratio of the sizes of their support intervals. Second, as for Triangular Fuzzy Numbers (TFNs), the entropies of any two TFNs which can not be always the same type, also, have a constant proportional relationship which depends on the ratio of the sizes of their support intervals. Hence, any two TFNs with the same sizes of support intervals have the same entropies. Third, concerning two Triangular Fuzzy Sets (TFSs) with same sizes of support intervals and different heights, the relationship of their entropies lies on their height. Finally, we point it out a mistake that Chen's assertion that the entropy of resultant fuzzy set of elevation operation is directly to that of the original one while elevation factor just acts as a propartional factor. These results should contribute to the analysis and design of a fuzzy system. 展开更多

In this paper, a novel formulation, smooth entropy support vector regression (SESVR), is proposed, which is a smooth unconstrained optimization reformulation of the traditional linear programming associated with an ε-insensitive support vector regression. An entropy penalty function is substituted for the plus function to make the objective function con- tinuous ,and a new algorithm involving the Newton-Armijo algorithm proposed to solve the SESVR converge globally to the solution. Theoretically, we give a brief convergence proof to our algorithm. The advantages of our presented algorithm are that we only need to solve a system of linear equations iteratively instead of solving a convex quadratic program, as is the case with a conventional SVR, and lessen the influence of the penalty parameter C in our model. In order to show the efficiency of our algorithm, we employ it to forecast an actual electricity power short-term load. The experimental results show that the presented algorithm, SESVR, plays better precisely and effectively than SVMlight and LIBSVR in stochastic time series forecasting. 展开更多

Thermal transport in porous media has stimulated substantial interest in engineering sciences due to increasing applications in filtration systems,porous bearings,porous layer insulation,biomechanics,geomechanics etc.Motivated by such applications,in this article,a numerical study of entropy generation impacts on the heat and momentum transfer in time-dependent laminar incompressible boundary layer flow of a Casson viscoplastic fluid over a uniformly heated vertical cylinder embedded in a porous medium is presented.Darcy’s law is used to simulate bulk drag effects at low Reynolds number for an isotropic,homogenous porous medium.Heat line visualization is also included.The mathematical model is derived and normalized using appropriate transformation variables.The resulting non-linear time-dependent coupled governing equations with associated boundary conditions are solved via an implicit finite difference method which is efficient and unconditionally stable.The outcomes show that entropy generation and Bejan number are both elevated with increasing values of Darcy number,Casson fluid parameter,group parameter and Grashof number.To analyze the heat transfer process in a two-dimensional domain,plotting heat lines provides an excellent approach in addition to streamlines and isotherms.It is remarked that as the Darcy number increases,the deviations of heat lines from the hot wall are reduced. 展开更多

In this paper, we recall for physicists how it is possible using the principle of maximization of the Boltzmann-Shannon entropy to derive the Burr-Singh-Maddala (BurrXII) double power law probability distribution function and its approximations (Pareto, loglogistic.) and extension (GB2…) first used in econometrics. This is possible using a deformation of the power function, as this has been done in complex systems for the exponential function. We give to that distribution a deep stochastic interpretation using the theory of Weron et al. Applied to thermodynamics, the entropy nonextensivity can be accounted for by assuming that the asymptotic exponents are scale dependent. Therefore functions which describe phenomena presenting power-law asymptotic behaviour can be obtained without introducing exotic forms of the entropy. 展开更多

A new composite fuzzy classifier is also proposed based on Mamta-Hanman entropy function and applied on the Information Set based features. 基于2016—2020年省级农业发展数据,综合运用改进后的熵值法、Dagum基尼系数等方法,测算了全国及粮食功能区农业高质量发展水平及差异程度,并进一步从一级指标入手,分析了引起区域差异产生和波动的原因。结果表明:(1)三大粮食功能区的... 基于2016—2020年省级农业发展数据,综合运用改进后的熵值法、Dagum基尼系数等方法,测算了全国及粮食功能区农业高质量发展水平及差异程度,并进一步从一级指标入手,分析了引起区域差异产生和波动的原因。结果表明:(1)三大粮食功能区的农业高质量发展水平均保持上升趋势,按水平由大到小依次为“主销区、主产区、平衡区”。(2)三大粮食功能区存在区域差异,区域间的差异是总体差异的主要来源,区域内差异也出现不同程度的变动。(3)主销区内部差异波动与产业升级指标相关,主产区内部差异波动主要受产出高效和产业升级指标影响,平衡区内部差异波动源于产业升级指标中的追赶效应。(4)区域间差异主要源自产业升级指标,成果共享指标也起到部分影响作用,三大区域各具发展短板。因此,为提升我国农业高质量发展均衡性,应坚持“因地制宜”原则,以水平最低的平衡区为发力点,以产业升级指标为抓手,以各区域发展短板为突破,采取更具针对性的发展措施。 展开更多

针对船舶超大空间火灾对人员疏散能力的影响难以量化问题,本文基于元胞自动机理论,构建了一种行人个体自主分析火灾环境下温度和能见度影响的疏散模型(cellular automata model considering visibility and temperature, CAVT)。CAVT模... 针对船舶超大空间火灾对人员疏散能力的影响难以量化问题,本文基于元胞自动机理论,构建了一种行人个体自主分析火灾环境下温度和能见度影响的疏散模型(cellular automata model considering visibility and temperature, CAVT)。CAVT模型采用Sigmoid函数和历史实验数据建立温度、能见度与人员运动能力的映射关系,基于FDS数值模拟结果建立火灾环境场对人员个体运动能力影响的时空耦合关系,使用熵值法计算温度场和能见度场在火灾环境场中的权重。以某客船超大空间为例开展研究分析,结果表明:火灾环境下人员疏散时间受火源功率影响较大,火源位置影响较小,出口宽度大于3 m,不影响疏散效率。与Pathfinder软件相比,CAVT模型可更准确模拟人员因高温和低能见度导致的运动能力的动态下降反馈。 展开更多
