Community Question Answering(CQA) in web forums, as a classic forum for user communication,provides a large number of high-quality useful answers in comparison with traditional question answering.Development of methods to get good, honest answers according to user questions is a challenging task in natural language processing. Many answers are not associated with the actual problem or shift the subjects,and this usually occurs in relatively long answers. In this paper, we enhance answer selection in CQA using multidimensional feature combination and similarity order. We make full use of the information in answers to questions to determine the similarity between questions and answers, and use the text-based description of the answer to determine whether it is a reasonable one. Our work includes two subtasks:(a) classifying answers as good, bad, or potentially associated with a question, and(b) answering YES/NO based on a list of all answers to a question. The experimental results show that our approach is significantly more efficient than the baseline model, and its overall ranking is relatively high in comparison with that of other models. 展开更多

We study iterative methods for solving a set of sparse non-negative tensor equations (multivariate polynomial systems) arising from data mining applications such as information retrieval by query search and community discovery in multi-dimensional networks. By making use of sparse and non-negative tensor structure, we develop Jacobi and Gauss-Seidel methods for solving tensor equations. The multiplication of tensors with vectors are required at each iteration of these iterative methods, the cost per iteration depends on the number of non-zeros in the sparse tensors. We show linear convergence of the Jacobi and Gauss-Seidel methods under suitable conditions, and therefore, the set of sparse non-negative tensor equations can be solved very efficiently. Experimental results on information retrieval by query search and community discovery in multi-dimensional networks are presented to illustrate the application of tensor equations and the effectiveness of the proposed methods. 展开更多

In the span of thousands of years of history,especially during the confrontation with western powers in the past centuries,the Chinese nation has transformed itself from a"self-being"to a"self-conscious"national entity,forming a multi-level and multi-dimensional community structure.As"the marginal"in the"Chinese cultural circle",visible and intangible,overseas O Chinese communities have always maintained a dynamic relationship with the"core",and overseas Chinese have constantly expanded the scope of the Chinese national space through alternative channels of culture and society.By analyzing the progression of three phases,namely the period before the 1850s,1850s-1950s and the period after the 1950s,this paper examines the role of overseas Chinese in the multidimensional space expansion of the Chinese nation.We deem that overseas Chinese maintained varied degrees of spatial connection and participated in the construction of the national homeland in multiple scales such as ethnic identity,cultural identity,economic ties and social networks;The sense of ethnic community of overseas Chinese is embodied in the inclinations toward the ancestral country,multi-dimensional identification and the concept of righteousness,showing the characteristics of pluralism and consensus;Due to the variance of affecting factors,such as migration time and intergenerational relations,geographical distance and cyberspace accessibility,policies of the country of origin and transnational interaction,there are distinguishable traits between different groups of overseas Chinese and the"core"of the multidimensional space of the Chinese nation.Overseas Chinese not only expand out,but also bridge and tie up the multidimensional and three-dimensional space of the Chinese nation. 展开更多
