Objective:To evaluate the application value of a refined quality control management model for a sterilization supply center.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the work situation of the sterilization sup...Objective:To evaluate the application value of a refined quality control management model for a sterilization supply center.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the work situation of the sterilization supply center from January 2021 to January 2023.The work situation before January 31,2022,was classified as the control group;a routine quality control management model was implemented,and the work situation after January 31,2022,was classified as the observation group.The quality of medical device management and department satisfaction between the two groups were compared.Results:The timely recovery and supply rate,classification and cleaning pass rate,disinfection pass rate,packaging pass rate,sterilization pass rate,and department satisfaction score in the observation group were all higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing a refined quality control management model in the sterilization supply center can improve the quality management level of medical devices and department satisfaction and is worthy of promotion.展开更多
The bactericidal effect on the representative type of Gram-negative Escherichia coli(E.coli) and Gram-positive Bacillus subtilis in drinking water was investigated in this paper by using dielectric barrier discharge...The bactericidal effect on the representative type of Gram-negative Escherichia coli(E.coli) and Gram-positive Bacillus subtilis in drinking water was investigated in this paper by using dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) advanced oxidation technology.The sterilizing rates under different conditions of reaction time t,input voltage V,p H value,and initial concentration of bacteria C_0 were investigated to figure out the optimum sterilization conditions.Our observations and comparisons of cell morphology alteration by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy revealed the sterilization mechanisms.The results showed that the sterilizing rate increased obviously with the extension of reaction time t and the rise of input voltage V.The optimal sterilization effect was achieved when the p H value was 7.1.As the initial concentration of bacteria rose,the sterilizing rate decreased.When the input voltage was 2.2 k V and the initial concentration of bacteria was relatively low,the sterilizing rate almost reached 100% after a certain treatment time in neutral aqueous solution.The reasons for the great damage of cell structure and the killing of bacteria are the oxidation of O_3,OH and the accumulation of active species produced by DBD.The article provides a certain theoretical and experimental basis for DBD application in water pollution treatment.展开更多

However, broad use of hybrid soybean seed is limited due to low seed setting of female parents. Breeding cytoplasmic male sterile(CMS) lines with high out-crossing rate is necessary to solve the problem. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between out-crossing rate of CMS lines and their nectar secretion. The daily nectar secretion rhythm, meteorological effect on nectar secretion, and differences in nectar secretion among genotypes and years were investigated in 27 soybean CMS lines(A-lines) with their maintainers(B-lines) and restorers(R-lines). The correlation between out-crossing rate of CMS lines and nectar production was also evaluated. Nectar secretion had diurnal variation. Secretion initiated at about 06:00 for most materials and reached a peak at 07:00–08:30 after flower opened, then the nectar secretion decreased gradually. A sub-peak appeared at about 13:00, while the nectar could not be detected at 17:00. Nectar secretion was greatly influenced by the weather conditions. The amount of nectar secretion increased gradually over time during periods of high temperature and no rainfall for several days. Rainy weather and low temperatures inhibited nectar secretion. There were obvious variations of nectar amount among different genotypes tested. Significant nectar variation within a genotype among years was also observed, and the highest nectar secretion was 3-fold higher than the lowest. The amount of nectar secretion from R-lines was significantly higher than that of A-and B-lines. There was no significant difference in nectar secretion between A-and B-lines. A-and B-lines with higher out-crossing rates secreted more nectar. The amount of nectar secretion of A-and B-lines were significantly positively correlated with the out-crossing rate of A-lines.展开更多
High performance is essential for the polyamide(PA)reverse osmosis(RO)membranes during the desalination process.Herein,RO membranes with high permselectivity and anti-biofouling properties were fabricated by nanoparti...High performance is essential for the polyamide(PA)reverse osmosis(RO)membranes during the desalination process.Herein,RO membranes with high permselectivity and anti-biofouling properties were fabricated by nanoparticles incorporation and anti-biofouling grafting.Hydrotalcite(HT)incorporation was performed with a dual role,enhancing water flux and acting as grafting sites.The HT incorporation increased the water flux without sacrificing the salt rejection,compensating for the loss caused by the following grafting reaction.The exposed surface of HT acted as grafting sites for anti-biofouling agent dimethyloctadecyl[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ammonium chloride(DMOTPAC).The combination of HT incorporation and DMOTPAC grafting endowed RO membranes with high permselectivity and anti-biofouling properties.The water flux of the modified membrane PA-HT-0.06 was 49.8 L/m^(2)·h,which was 16.4%higher than that of the pristine membrane.The salt rejection of PA-HT-0.06 was 99.1%,which was comparable to that of the pristine membrane.As to the fouling of negatively charged lysozyme,the modified membrane’s water flux recovery was superior to that of the pristine membrane(e.g.86.8%of PA-HT-0.06 compared to 78.2%of PA-pristine).The sterilization rates of PA-HT-0.06 for E.coli and B.subtilis were 97.3%and 98.7%,much higher than those of the pristine membrane(24.0%for E.coli and 26.7%for B.subtilis).展开更多
