Focusing on“from inside out”means understanding that the driving force behind a successful service promotion campaign lies in a deep connection with the internal team,turning it into the engine that propels a positive brand perception.The University of Panama faces challenges in the effective implementation of strategies involving its internal staff,impacting the coherence and strength of its promotional messages.The research aimed to determine internal marketing strategies as an engine for service promotion at the Central Campus and CRUSAM.The applied study was descriptive,non-experimental field research,and cross-sectional.The sample consisted of 80 individuals using a quota sampling method to measure and quantify the expression of a construct or variable that is not directly observable.A selfadministered questionnaire was used to collect information,measuring variables in their various dimensions.Content validity of the questionnaire was ensured through the evaluation of three experts,and the reliability of the Likert-type instrument was assessed using Cronbach’s α coefficient,which was found to be very high(0.918).The results led to the conclusion that establishing internal marketing strategies is necessary for the transformation and innovation process in the university through service promotion. 展开更多

This is because the damaged axons tend to retract, because they encounter obstacles such as scar tissue and inhibitory molecules, and because their growth rates simply do not match those of a juvenile axon. In recent years, there has been a focus on microtubules as among the most important factors in encouraging injured adult axons to regenerate. The economic marketability of a brachiopod,Lingula was studied at three coastal mangrove sites,specifically based on socioeconomic parameters from 10 villages that utilized Lingula along Pearl Bay,Beilun Estuary Marine Nature Reserve,China.The significantly highest density of Lingula was at Jiao Dong(48.2±35.14 individual/m^2)whereas the biomass of Lingula was highest(0.76±0.22 g/individual)at Gui Lao Bu.The shell size of the largest specimen was still less than that in other references.The socioeconomic study of the population related to Lingula involved a small group,and no relationship could be determined among the parameters of age range,education level,occupation,and financial status.The total economic value(320,927.4 Yuan)was based on the value of consumption whereas the value from sales was very low as recorded from Shan Xin over a three-month season.Analysis of the results to determine strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,and threats was undertaken to identify the potential of Lingula sp.to be promoted and supported in the market as a novel source of income for the local community who are associated with mangrove resources;and also to examine its potential as a new food source for the rapidly growing population of China. 展开更多

Comparative Revenue, Obstacle Factors and Promoting Strategy of Sprinkling Irrigation in Wheat Field: A Case Study from Yanzhou, Shandong Province in China

This paper takes 30 hm2 wheat sprinkling irrigation land of Yunguo Family Farm in Yanzhou, Shandong Province, China as a sample, and draws a conclusion by comparing it with other households (including individual and large households). The conclusions are as follows: wheat sprinkling irrigation has a remarkable water-saving effect and comparative revenue. Water saving efficiency can reach 61.54% and a comprehensive income-increase rate can reach 38.67%. The main factors of increasing income and incentives of saving irrigation by sprinkling irrigation ranks as the following: saving land consolidation and water monitoring labors (accounts for 62.50%), saving land area of wheat bed to increase production and income (accounts for 23.44%), saving water bills (accounts for 14.06%). The incentive effect of water saving is not obvious mainly because the water price is low. The main obstacles to the promotion of sprinkling irrigation by individual household are the uneconomical scale and the barriers of coordination of proxy irrigation. Other large household’s (family farm) obstacles are mainly the instability of land tenure and mixed management. Suggestions on promoting sprinkling irrigation in wheat field: Accelerate land circulation and promote agricultural scale management to create basic scale conditions for spreading sprinkling irrigation;stabilizing farmland management rights as stabilizing farmland contractual rights, thus giving long-term business interests to all kinds of large household owners;guide the development of “scale + specialization” modern family farms;appropriate water saving subsidies should be given according to the positive externality of household water saving;confirm agricultural water rights to household and allow compensated transfer of “surplus water rights”. 展开更多

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic companied by demyelination inflammatory disease that is ac- and axonal damage resulting in neurological deficits. Remyelination is the natural endogenous repair mechanism of demyelinated axons and it is supposed to protect axons/neurons from degeneration and thus the patient from progressive disability (Franklin and Ffrench-Constant, 2008). Current therapeutics for patients with multiple sclerosis are to some extent very effective in inhibiting neuroinflamma- tion and demyelination. However, to date there are no substanc- es available that can enhance remyelination. Remyelination is the result of recruitment/proliferation of new oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPC) and differentiation into mature myelin producing oligodendrocytes (Franklin and Ffrench-Constant, 2008). These processes are supported by many factors and signals and failure at any stage might lead to repair failure. Strategies to enhance myelin repair are either the promotion of endogenous repair mechanisms via modulation of OPC prolif- eration and oligodendrocyte differentiation or the transplantion of myelinating cells into lesions. Due to the multiloculated pro- cess in multiple sclerosis and the ethical problems with the cell source, the latter is less favoured. Annually, more than 275,000 new cases are diagnosed worldwide. In spite of the easy accessibility of oral cavity during physical examination, most malignancies are not diagnosed until late stages of disease. Methods: Oral health promotion was our main objective, risk factors were identified and oral cavity self-examination was promoted. The population considered (n = 1117) was divided in two main age groups—a youngest (individuals under 25 years old) mostly targeted for oral cancer awareness and oral cavity self examination promotion, and an older group having accumulated potential risk exposure. Results: The results obtained revealed smoking habits and fruits-vegetables consumption deficit as the highest risks factors found. Considering a Risk Factor Exposure Index analysis, individuals with secondary level of instruction and living in sub-urban areas assumed the highest risk exposure. Alcohol consumption had also contributed as a significant risk exposure. Conclusions: Some of these risk factors work as biological reward of quality of life deficit. A wide comprehension of the problem requires a multidisciplinary approach necessarily involving Health and Social Sciences in order to target the core of oral cancer health promotion. An effective epidemiological strategy must thus support three major aspects: population knowledge, sensitization and visual screening. 展开更多
