The hazardous area of strong mine pressure under different coal pillar widths is determined. Through simulation, it is known that when the width of the coal pillar is less than 20 m, there is large bearing capacity on the coal side of the roadway entity. The force on the side of the coal pillar is relatively small. When the width of the coal pillar ranges from 25 m to 45 m, the vertical stress on the roadway and surrounding areas is relatively high. Pressure relief measures need to be taken during mining to reduce surrounding rock stress. When the width of the coal pillar is greater than 45 m, the peak stress of the coal pillar is located in the deep part of the surrounding rock, but it still has a certain impact on the roadway. It is necessary to take pressure relief measures to transfer the stress to a deeper depth to ensure the stability of the triangular coal pillar during the safe mining period of the working face. This provides guidance for ensuring the stability of the triangular coal pillar during the safe mining period of the working face.展开更多

The gray correlation theory was used in support scheme optimization design. First, causes and mechanism of deformation of the 1 000 m horizontal transport channel were analyzed through field investigation, laboratory test and data processing methods. We arguued that poor engineering geological conditions and deep pressure increases were the main factors, and the deformation mechanism was mainly the ground deformation pressure. Second, the gray correlation theory was used to construct supporting optimization decision method in the deep roadway. This method more comprehensively considers various factors, including construction, costs, and supporting material functions. The combined support with pre-stressed anchor cables, shotcrete layer, bolt and metal net was put forward according to the actual roadway engineering characteristics. Finally, 4 support schemes were put forward for new roadways. The gray relational theory was applied to optimizing the supporting method, undertaking technical and economic comparison to obtain the correlation degree, and accordingly the schemes were evaluated. Field stress measurements in the main coal bed in the Lüliang mining area were made by the bore hole, stress relief method. From these data the ground stress distribution of the mining area was obtained. The relationship between the horizontal principal stress and the deformation and failure of a roadway is discussed with an engineering example. The results indicate that horizontal stress dominates in the shallow crust in the Lüliang mining area. Roadways at different angles to the maximum principal stress have different levels of stress concentration. This leads to a significant difference in stability of the corresponding roadways. These research results provide an important criterion for determining roadway position and direction, stope layout, and roadway support design.展开更多

The deformation and failure characteristics and the mechanism of ''yielding support'' was studied for anchor bolts and cables. The rail roadway of the 2-501 working face in the Liyazhuang Mine of the Huozhou coal area located in Shanxi province was used for field trials. The geological conditions used there were used during the design phase. The new ''highly resistant, yielding'' support system has a core of high strength, yielding bolts and anchor cables. The support system effectively controls damage to the roadway and ensures the long term stability of the wall rock and safe production in the coal mine. This provides a remarkable economic and social benefit and has broad prospects for fur- ther application.展开更多

It shows that patterns governing displacement of FMC roadway surrounding rocks and those governing deformation of supports are basically the same along the strike, but the displacements vary greatly. The front stresses affect greater areas than the lateral stresses and their limit widths of equilib-rium zones and K are almost similar. The stress transmits very deep. 文摘In order to ensure the safety and stability of the soft rock roadway under high stress, based on the characteristics of the surrounding rock deformation and failure, this paper presented the support technology‘‘coupling support of double yielding shell'', then gave the design method of inner and outer shells and analyzed the principle and requirements of the support technology by taking the -850 m east belt roadway of Qujiang coal mine as the background. The field application results show that the support technology can control the soft rock roadway deformation better under high stress. The displacement between roadway sides was 851 mm, the displacement of the roof was 430 mm, and the displacement of the floor was 510 mm.

文摘Ground stress is the fundamental cause of deformation and failure during underground structural engi- neering. These research results provide an important criterion for determining roadway position and direction, stope layout, and roadway support design.

文摘A rationally designed support for deep roadways excavated in broken soft rock under high stress was investigated. The field tests show that this support system adapts well to the deformation and pressure in the deep broken soft rock. The support system effectively controls damage to the roadway and ensures the long term stability of the wall rock and safe production in the coal mine. This provides a remarkable economic and social benefit and has broad prospects for fur- ther application.

文摘By employing numerical modeling, similar material simulation and comprehen-sive field observation, investigations were made and patterns were obtained governing surrounding-rock stress distribution and strata behaviors. Our findings offer scientific basis on which to determine parameters for coal pillar retaining and for roadway out-laying, thus increasing the recovery ratio and improving the maintenance of roadway.
文摘This paper, based on the strain softening character of rock, and the de formation feature of roadway with badly damaged surrounding rock and adopting the ideal elastoplastic softening model, derives the formula for calculating the supporting resistance for the roadway. It is pointed out that controlling the rheid speed of the rock in the plastic softening area is critical and that the combined supporting, i. e. combining surrounding rock internal rein forcement with external supporting f is the reasonahle supporting to this kiud of roadways. The theory and practice introduced in this paper are of universal significance for harnessing the roadway with badly damaged surrounding rock.
文摘Based on the analysis and research into ground pressure behavior law and surrounding rock deformation of a large number of roadways affected by mining activity, this paper proposed a relation between the surrounding rock deformation during mining ,the surrounding rock deformation rate during stable stage of mining and the chain pillar width. Moreover,it established the relation between the total amount of surrounding rock deformation during service period of roadway and the chain pillar width, which provides a principal basis for choosing the chain pillar width.
