Measures for the Optimization of Subgrade and Pavement Design in the Reconstruction and Expansion of Highways

In comparison to the construction of modern highway engineering,several of China’s early pavement construction concerns,such as pavement collapse,are rather clear.Limited by historical and technical factors,the subgrade and pavement design for highways lacks scientificity,thus inducing potential safety problems in the operation.In order to comprehensively improve the subgrade and pavement design as well as ensure the quality and safety of highway engineering projects,this paper takes the reconstructed and expanded highway projects as research subjects and focuses on proposing optimization measures for the subgrade and pavement design of reconstructed and expanded highways,so as to provide adequate reference.

Disease Characteristics and Maintenance Technology of Highway Subgrade and Pavement

In recent years,the subgrade and pavement diseases account for the vast majority of the expressway maintenance diseases,which puzzles many expressway maintenance departments and units.To sustain the continuous development of the expressway,the service level of the expressway is need to be improved,by ensuring the safety of the people,and by providing more convenient services for the people during travel.The technical measures for scientific maintenance of expressway subgrade and pavement diseases were discussed in this paper.Further,this paper discusses the main subgrade and pavement diseases types,and proposed the targeted maintenance methods,which can be as a reference for the expressway maintenance departments.

Technical Analysis of Subgrade and Pavement Construction in Settlement Section of Municipal Road and Bridge Engineering

The construction of municipal roads and bridges is an important foundation for the smooth traveling and transportation.However,if there a reduction in the subgrade and pavement part,the safety and the comfort of the driver will be seriously affected,therefore,reasonable measures should be taken on time to tackle the related issues.The significance of subgrade and pavement construction in the subsidence section,the key points of the construction,and the appropriate control measures that are should be taken in the actual construction,was discussed in this paper.Further,this paper analyzes the availability of the subgrade and pavement construction technology for the municipal roads and bridges,to provide a reference for engineers.

Subgrade and Pavement Design Strategies for Different Road Settlement Sections

The quality of road engineering construction largely determines the road operation safety and driving comfort. However, in road engineering construction, the settlement of subgrade and pavement has always been an insurmountable problem. Therefore, in road construction practice, targeted treatment should be carried out for the sections prone to settlement, and subgrade and pavement design strategies for these settlement sections should be carried out, so as to reduce the risk of settlement and ensure the improvement of road engineering quality and safety.

Application of Nanomaterials in Subgrade and Pavement

With the continuous progress of social science and technology,there are increasingly more kinds of high-tech materials that can be used in the construction of subgrade and pavement.Among them,the application of nanomaterials plays a commendatory role,improving the quality of pavement.Based on this,this paper analyzes the characteristics of nanomaterials and puts forward specific measures for the application of nanomaterials on the basis of further exploring the working principle of nanomaterials in subgrade and pavement,so as to promote the further development of subgrade and pavement construction.

Study on the Construction Technology of Subgrade Pavement in Road and Bridge Settlement Section

With the continuous development of China’s economy,the construction of roads and bridges work has put forward higher requirements.Due to various factors,the long-term use of roads and bridges will produce a settlement phenomenon.Therefore,it is crucial to address settlement issues during the construction of roads and bridges to ensure that the quality of subgrade and pavement construction meets national regulations.This paper introduces the harm of subgrade pavement subsidence,analyzes the causes of subgrade pavement deformation,and discusses the technical points of subgrade pavement construction,hoping to provide some reference for relevant practitioners.
