The fibrils in adjacent lamelae run across each other at right angles and parallel to the cornealsurface.in fibroblasts are dispersed between the fibril lamelae. Their appearances are extremelyflat. The nucleus is large and located at the canter of the cell.The cytoplasm is abundant in roughendoplasmic reticulum.The corned fibroblasts give out very long processes extended between thelamelae.The cytoplasmic brocades of a cell are in able contant with these of neighboring cells.Thecontant surfaces show irregular and interdigital forms.
