The Ti-Al coating was fabricated on the surface of electro-deposited nickel layer on copper matrix followed by the slurry pack cementation process. The effects of slurry pack cementation temperature on the microstructures and wear resistance of Ti-Al coating were studied. The results show that the microstructure of the coating changed from NiAl+Ni3(Ti,Al) to NiAl +Ni3(Ti,Al)+Ni4Ti3 to Ni4Ti3+NiAl, and to NiAl+Ni3(Ti,Al)+NiTi with slurry pack cementation temperature ranging from 800 ℃ to 950 ℃ in 12 h. The friction coefficient of Ti-Al coating decreased and the hardness increased with increasing the slurry pack cementation temperature. The minimum friction coefficient was 1/3 and the minimum hardness was 5 times larger than that of pure copper.展开更多

The electromagnetic compound treatment method was proposed to couple pulsed magnetic field and pulsed current. The results show that after the pulsed magnetic field treatment, the values of the transverse rupture strength of the samples were respectively reduced by 21%, 20.6% and 20.1%;the cutting performance was decreased by about 4.5%, which means the tool life was decreased. After the electromagnetic compound treatment, the values of the transverse rupture strength of the rectangular samples were respectively increased by 8%, 8.6% and 9.5%, and the tool life was increased by 4.2%, 7% and 10.3%. After the electromagnetic compound treatment, the pulse current provided the driving force for dislocation motion. A strong pulse current driving force is more likely to make the dislocation multiply and slip. A high density dislocation cell is formed within the material, so the mechanical properties were significantly increased.展开更多

After4 years of planting, the mass percent of > 0. 25 mm water-stable aggregates in 1∶ 2 compound soil increased significantly and exceeded other2 kinds of compound soil, reached 32. 34%; the main components of > 0. 25 mm water stable aggregates in 1∶ 1,1∶ 2,and 1∶ 5 compound soil were 0. 25-0. 50 mm( 53. 54%),0. 25-0. 50 mm( 59. 43%),0. 05-2. 00 mm( 52. 16%),aggregates; 0. 25-2. 00 mm aggregates increased significantly in all three kinds of compound soil, with the highest increase in 1∶ 2 compound soil; the organic matters of 1∶ 2 compound soil were significantly correlated with 0. 25-0. 50 mm and 0. 25-2. 00 mm water-stable aggregates. The results showed that the ratio of 0. 25-2. 00 mm aggregates in the three kinds of compound soil was increased after 4 years of crop planting and 1∶ 2 compound soil was most favorable for the formation of aggregates.展开更多

These cements are classified as shrinkage-compensated or self-stressing cements. The shrinkage compensated is used in the construction industry and will not be investigated in this paper. Self-Stressing cement is widely used in the demolition & fragmentation industry and will be the main focus of this report. The objective of this paper is to discuss the relationship between Sulfate-compounds on the expansion time and degree of expansion of Betonamit expansive cement. Based on literature [1], expansion time is directly proportional to sulfate content when mixed with Portland cement. Hence, as the sulfate content of the cement mixture increases, expansion time increases. However, in this research project the effect of Portland cement was removed to further examine the effect of sulfate on Betonamit only. This phenomenon was investigated using various concentrations of 4 different Sulfate-compounds. The results proved the possibility of decreasing the expansion time of Betonamit and, quite remarkably, a much greater degree of expansion was obtained.展开更多
