[ Method ] The protoplasts were separated from the blossom petals of Cosmos bipinnatus and Cosmos sulphureus availed with the function of pectinase and cellulase, and the fusion of two pretoplasts was performed with PEG. [ Results] A great deal of free pretoplasts were obtained from Cosmos bipinnatus by using 6% mannitol + 1.3% cellu- lase + 1.2% pectinase, and from Cosmos sulphureus by using 10% mannitol + 1.3% cellulase + 1.2% pectinase. Five hours after of enzymolysis treatment, large amount of dissociated protoplasts were observed in the solution. Pretoplast fusion was be obtained by using 30% PEG fusion liquid and 0. lmol/1 CaC12 solution (pH value = 9.5). [ Conclusion] Our study established an optimal separation and fusion system of protoplasts from different coreopsis species, laying foundation for the breeding of novel coreopsis varieties.展开更多

It was shown that decumbenone B had a stimulatory effect on the growth of seedling roots of buckwheat, decumbenone A—on the growth of seedling roots of spring soft wheat, decumbenone C—on the growth of seedling roots of spring barley, decumbenone A, B and C —on the growth of seedling roots of corn. The stimulatory effect for some substances was shown at ultra-low concentrations 10﹣12 - 10﹣18 M. It is possible to recommend decumbenones A, B and C for studying in field conditions as growth factors of buckwheat, wheat, barley and corn.展开更多

METHOD: Compounds were isolated and purified by various chromatographic techniques. The structure of the new compound was determined by interpretation of MS and 1D-, 2D-NMR spectroscopic data, while the known compounds were identified by comparison of their data with those reported. RESULTS: Three mycophenolic acid derivatives, 6-((2E, 6E)-3, 7-dimethyldeca-2, 6-dienyl)-7-hydroxy-5-methoxy-4-methylphtanlan-1-one(1), 6-((2E, 6E)-3, 7, 11-trimethyldedoca-2, 6, 10-trienyl)-5, 7-dihydroxy-4-methylphtanlan-1-one(2), and 6-((2E, 6E)-3, 7, 11-trimethyldedoca-2, 6, 10-trienyl)-7-hydroxy-5-methoxy-4-methylphtanlan-1-one(3) were isolated. CONCLUSION: Among them, compound 1 was new, and compound 2 exhibited moderate cytotoxicity against HL-60, SMMC-7721, A-549, and MCF-7 cells, with IC50 values of 39.1, 31.1, 27.4, and 35.7 μmol·L-1, respectively.展开更多
