The velocity and pressure are approximated by the nonconforming constrained Q1^4ot element and the piecewise constant, respectively. The superconvergent error estimates of the velocity in the broken H^1-norm and the pressure in the L^2-norm are obtained respectively when the exact solutions are reasonably smooth. A numerical experiment is carried out to confirm the theoretical results.展开更多

With the help of the Bramble-Hilbert lemma, the optimal errors of the velocity and pressure are estimated, which are independent of the considered parameter e. With an interpolation postprocessing approach, the superconvergent error of the pressure is obtained. Finally, a numerical experiment is carried out to confirm the theoretical results.展开更多

The corresponding optimal convergence error estimates and superclose property are derived, which are the same as the traditional conforming finite elements. Furthermore, the global superconvergence is obtained using a post-processing technique. The numerical results show the validity of the theoretical analysis.展开更多

We estimate the error in the maximum norm. For the sake of obtaining full superconvergence uniformly at all nodal points, we introduce local mesh refinements. Then we extend these results to a class of nonlinear problems. Finally, we present some numerical results which confirm our theoretical conclusions.展开更多

文摘In this paper, we apply the symmetric Galerkin methods to the numerical solutions of a kind of singular linear two-point boundary value problems. We estimate the error in the maximum norm. For the sake of obtaining full superconvergence uniformly at all nodal points, we introduce local mesh refinements. Then we extend these results to a class of nonlinear problems.
