As for the supply chain consisting of a manufacturer and multiple competing retailers, the disruption management decision is considered for the demand disruption that both the investment sensitivity coefficient and the investment-elasticity are changed simultaneously. Meanwhile, the corresponding solutions are given for different cases of the disruption, and the characteristics of the solutions are analyzed. The production plan is proved to he robustness under certain conditions, and the production plan of the coordination strategy is investigated for the disruption with appropriate contractual arrangement, i. e. , a subside rate schedule. Mutual restraints exist between the changed investment sensitivity coefficient and the investment-elasticity when the coordination mecha- nism is used. And the more the number of the retailers in the system, the more the subside provided by the suppler on the coordinaton strategy. 展开更多

Besides, many small and medium-sized enterprises are developing and flourishing in Luzhou. Compared with thedevelopment of large enterprises, the development of small and medium sized enterprises has more uncertainty and risks. At present, Luzhou Cityis setting about to build Huangyi into a liquor centralized zone, which is also a clusterization strategy for industry development of Luzhou liquor.For Luzhou Liquor Zone, the implementation of supply chain management of small and medium-sized enterprises can greatly reduce the cost ofenterprises and improve effi ciency of operation. The coordination problem of a supply chain comprising one supplier and one retailer under market demand disruption is studied in this article. A novel exponential demand function is adopted, and the penalty cost is introduced explicitly to capture the deviation production cost caused by the market demand disruption. The optimal strategies are obtained for different disruption scale under the centralized mode. For the decentralized mode, it is proved that the supply chain can be fully coordinated by adjusting the price discount policy appropriately when disruption occurs. Furthermore, the authors point out that similar results can be established for more general demand functions that represent different market circumstances if certain assumptions are satisfied. 展开更多

A two-level supply chain model involving one supplier and one retailer with linear demand is developed, and supply chain coordination mechanisms under asymmetric information (the retailer' s cost structure is asymmetric information) are proposed by employing game theory in two scenarios: coordination mechanisms under asymmetric information in a regular scenario (without disruption); and coordination mechanisms under asymmetric information in an irregular scenario ( with retailer cost disruptions). It is optimal for the supply chain to maintain the original production plan and to guarantee a steadily running system if variations of retailer costs are sufficiently low and do not exceed an upper bound. This shows that the original production plan has certain robustness under disruptions. Decisions must be re-made if a retailer' s cost change is greater and exceeds an upper bound. Impacts of retailer cost disruptions on the order quantity, the retail price, the wholesale price and each party' s as well as the system' s expected profits are investigated through numerical analyses. 展开更多

After introducing the supply chain default risk and its causes,based on the literature review of the evaluation methods of supply chain risks,a new evaluation method called the fuzzy influence diagram which combines fuzzy sets with influence diagram theory and considers the interaction among risk factors is proposed.Furthermore,an evaluation model of the supply chain default risk is established based on the research of default risk evaluation and the fuzzy influence diagram.First,the model takes the loss of risk as a valuable node,risk factors as random nodes,drawing a risk analysis influence diagram.Then,three kinds of fuzzy sets are defined,including state fuzzy sets,probabilistic fuzzy sets and a relation fuzzy matrix.Finally,by using the fuzzy algorithm to evaluate nodes,the probability of risk occurrence and the degrees of risk loss are obtained.On the basis of the model,an instance application is used to prove its utility and effectiveness. 展开更多

The coordinating pricing strategies with asymmetric cost information under disruptions are investigated in a one-supplier-one-retailer supply chain system.While the retailer's cost structure is asymmetric information,supply chain pricing contract models(a wholesale price contract and an all-unit quantity discount contract)under asymmetric information are proposed by employing the principal-agent principle in a regular scenario.When the retailer's cost distribution is fluctuated by disruptions,we obtain the optimal emergency strategies of the supply chain under asymmetric information by considering deviation costs and show how to effectively handle the cost uncertainty.Using numerical methods,impacts of cost disruptions on the optimal wholesale price,the retailer price,the order quantity and the expected profits of the retailer,the supplier,as well as the total system are analyzed.It is found that the all-unit quantity discount policy can obtain better performance than the wholesale pricing policy. 展开更多

Supply chain 4.0 refers to the fourth industrial revolution’s supply chain management systems,which integrate the supply chain’s manufacturing operations,information technology,and telecommunication processes.Although supply chain 4.0 aims to improve supply chains’production systems and profitability,it is subject to different operational and disruptive risks.Operational risks are a big challenge in the cycle of supply chain 4.0 for controlling the demand and supply operations to produce and deliver products across IT systems.This paper proposes a voting classifier to identify the operational risks in the supply chain 4.0 based on a Sine Cosine Dynamic Group(SCDG)algorithm.Exploration and exploitation mechanisms of the basic Sine Cosine Algorithm(CSA)are adjusted and controlled by two groups of agents that can be changed dynamically during the iterations.External and internal features were collected and analyzed from different data sources of service level agreements and transaction data from various KSA firms to validate the proposed algorithm’s efficiency.A balanced accuracy of 0.989 and a Mean Square Error(MSE)of 0.0476 were achieved compared with other optimization-based classifier techniques.A one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)and Wilcoxon rank-sum tests were performed to show the superiority of the proposed SCDG algorithm.Thus,the experimental results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed SCDG algorithm-based voting classifier. 展开更多

While the retailer's cost structure is asymmetric information, two all-unit quantity discount contract models, fixed expected-profit percentage discount(FEPD) and fixed wholesale-pricing percentage discount(FWPD) under asymmetric information are proposed in a regular scenario. When the retailer's cost distribution fluctuates due to disruptions, the optimal emergency strategies of supply chains are obtained under asymmetric information. Using numerical methods, the impact of cost disruptions on decisions about the regular wholesale price, discount wholesale price, order quantity and expected profits of the retailer, the supplier as well as the total system are analyzed. It is found that the FEPD policy is more robust and adaptable than the FWPD policy in disruption circumstances. 展开更多

The framework includes a series of mutually associated processes as follows: risk sources and profiles, risk and performance drives, risk and performance consequences, risk management responses, and risk and performance outcomes. Furthermore, every process is elaborated on in detail. Thereinto, organizational performance consists of efficiency and effectiveness which is linked to risk drivers and risk management responses. Finally, some necessary discussions and supplements are put forward from a practical point of view. This study is to some extent expected to be conducive to the theories and the practice of supply chain management for contemporary enterprises. 展开更多

Our study contributes to the literature because it has investigated an ISO 31000 workflow process approach to group decision making for reducing backorders in the supply chain, from an integrated perspective utilizing Pareto charts and Petri nets. The contribution to the literature is also enhanced by the L-Project illustrative example that presents an evaluation hierarchy of supply chain risk. Supply chain resilience(SCR)refers to a supply chain's(SC's)ability to recover from disruptions timely and effectively.This study uses a combination of contingency and configuration approaches to examine the direct and contingent relationships between SCR dimensions(i.e.,internal,supplier,and customer resilience)and performance.It analyzes survey data collected from 206 Chinese manufacturers.The results show that the three SCR dimensions are positively related to customer satisfaction,whereas customer resilience has no direct contribution to financial performance.Internal resilience moderates the relationship between supplier resilience and performance(negative for customer satisfaction and positive for financial performance).A taxonomy for SCR was developed based on internal,supplier,and customer resilience,providing a holistic perspective for examining the performance discrepancies among four different SCR patterns:high externalleaning,high uniform,medium uniform,and low uniform.These findings offer insights for managers in building SCR from the crisis-management process. 展开更多

This article investigates the order problem in a two-stage supply chain consisting of retail- ers, primary suppliers and backup suppliers. From retailers' perspectives, the optimal offering strategies in unidirectional transshipments are analyzed on the basis of disruption risks in supply chains. With a focus on retailers' profits, it develops the decision model of retailers' orders in the dual sourcing mode and in the mode of capacity options, to maximize the retailers' expected profits. The simulation shows that retailers' optimal order decisions are not correlated with the joint disruption probability in the two order modes without service constraints; retailers' optimal decisions are influenced by the joint disruption probability in the two order modes with service constraints, and the impact of the joint disruption probability of the primary suppliers' optimal order from retailers differs in the two modes. Retailers' order decisions in respect of backup suppliers are more sensitive to the changing volumes of transshipments. The contribution of this article is the impact of main parameters on retailers' decisions, providing some guidance for enterprises to make order decisions. 展开更多
