The fiber sidepolishing technique converts the coaxial dual-waveguide fiber into a D-type one, and the evanescent wave in the ring core leaks, generating a D-type sensing region;the fiber optic fused ball push technology converts the coaxial dual waveguides into microspheres, and the stimulated cladding mode evanescent wave leaks, producing the microsphere sensing region. By injecting light into the coaxial dual-waveguide middle core alone, the sensor can realize single-stage sensing in the microsphere sensing area;it can also realize dual-channel sensing in the D-type sensing area and microsphere sensing area by injecting light into the ring core. The refractive index measurement ranges for the two channels are 1.333–1.365 and 1.375–1.405, respectively, with detection sensitivities of 981.56 nm/RIU and 4138 nm/RIU. The sensor combines wavelength division multiplexing and space division multiplexing technologies, presenting a novel research concept for multi-channel fiber SPR sensors.展开更多

The influence of process parameters was studied. The microstructure and composition of the coatings were analyzed by SEM, XRD and EDS. The hardness and wear-resistant property of the coatings and Q235 steel were measured. The results show that LMI layer can be achieved only under the condition that process parameters meet the strict requirements. By optimizing the process parameter, excellent coatings can be acquired by injecting WC powder onto the surface of Q235 steel. The microstructure in the coatings is complex, which consists of WC, W2C and M6C(Fe3W3C-Fe4W2C) phases. The difference of Fe3W3C microstructure in different zones of the coatings is obvious. Both the compositions of the reaction layers around the particle and dendrite precipitation carbides in the upper coating are Fe3W3C. The average hardness of LMI layer is above HV 900, which is about four times that of Q235 steel. The friction coefficient of LMI layer is only one quarter that of the substrate, which indicates that the wear resistance of the coatings is enhanced sharply.展开更多

The results showed that although the roughness of the original specimen induced by mechanical processing would diminish to some extent in the experiment, the 0.5 - 1.5 μm thick layer of ultrafine microstructure on the original mechanically-processed specimen surface would still become micro-cracks and small spalling pits due to spalling, and would further evolve into fatigue crack source. Additionally, even under the impact of the load that was not adequate to make the material reach fatigue limit, the ferrite in the microstructure underwent plastic deformation, which led the refinement of proeutectoid ferrite grains. During the experiment, the hardening and the refinement caused by plastic deformation consisted with the theory that dislocation gave rise to plastic deformation and grain refinement. The distribution laws of hardness and ferrite grain sizes measured could be explained by the distribution law of the shearing stress in the subsurface.展开更多

The mechanical properties and structural evolution on both glass anode and cathode surfaces were investigated, respectively. It was found that the EFAD resulted in the formation of a Na depletion layer on anode surface, which caused the relaxation of the glass anode surface network and the formation of a number of defects. Correspondingly, the hardness and flexural strength declined in anode surface compared to that of the original glass. On the other hand, the EFAD also created a compressive layer on cathode surface, causing the improvement of the hardness and flexural strength on cathode surface. The defected structure could be reconstructed by additional annealing process.展开更多

[t is shown that at variant wind speed, the spectra of streamwise velocity remain similar and the intensity of wind fluctuations is proportional to wind speed in the downwind area of shelter belt. Therefore, we may decide the similarity of wind fluctuations by a speed scale and a length scale which is not correlated with stability, σu /V0 = F(X / H). The -5/3 power range of temperature spectra extends to lower frequency. The variation of ratio σ0 /T. with stability becomes σ0 / T . = C(X / H)( - Z / L)-1/3 . There is not such an extension of -5 / 3 power range in the humidity spectra.展开更多

文摘The rapid development of electric vehicles and portable energy storage systems demands improvements in the energy density and cost-effectiveness of lithium-ion batteries,a domain in which Lithium-rich layered cathode(LLO)materials inherently excel. However, these materials face practical challenges, such as low initial Coulombic efficiency, inferior cycle/rate performance, and voltage decline during cycling, which limit practical application. Our study introduces a surface multi-component integration strategy that incorporates oxygen vacancies into the pristine LLO material Li1.2Mn_(0.6)Ni_(0.2)O_(2).This process involves a brief citric acid treatment followed by calcination, aiming to explore rate-dependent degradation behavior. The induced surface oxygen vacancies can reduce surface oxygen partial pressure and diminish the generation of O_(2)and other highly reactive oxygen species on the surface, thereby facilitating the activation of Li ions trapped in tetrahedral sites while overcoming transport barriers.Additionally, the formation of a spinel-like phase with 3D Li+diffusion channels significantly improves Li^(+)diffusion kinetics and stabilizes the surface structure. The optimally modified sample boasts a discharge capacity of 299.5 mA h g^(-1)at a 0.1 C and 251.6 mA h g^(-1)at a 1 C during the initial activation cycle, with an impressive capacity of 222.1 mA h g^(-1)at a 5 C.Most notably,it retained nearly 70%of its capacity after 300 cycles at this elevated rate. This straightforward, effective, and highly viable modification strategy provides a crucial resolution for overcoming challenges associated with LLO materials, making them more suitable for practical application.

文摘Femtosecond laser pulses with GHz burst mode that consist of a series of trains of ultrashort laser pulses with a pulse interval of several hundred picoseconds offer distinct features in material processing that cannot be obtained by the conventional irradiation scheme of femtosecond laser pulses(single-pulse mode). However, most studies using the GHz burst mode femtosecond laser pulses focus on ablation of materials to achieve high-efficiency and high-quality material removal. In this study,we explore the ability of the GHz burst mode femtosecond laser processing to form laser-induced periodic surface structures(LIPSS)on silicon. It is well known that the direction of LIPSS formed by the single-pulse mode with linearly polarized laser pulses is typically perpendicular to the laser polarization direction. In contrast,we find that the GHz burst mode femtosecond laser(wavelength:1030 nm,intra-pulse duration:220 fs,intra-pulse interval time(intra-pulse repetition rate):205 ps(4.88 GHz),burst pulse repetition rate:200 kHz)creates unique two-dimensional(2D)LIPSS.We regard the formation mechanism of 2D LIPSS as the synergetic contribution of the electromagnetic mechanism and the hydrodynamic mechanism.Specifically, generation of hot spots with highly enhanced electric fields by the localized surface plasmon resonance of subsequent pulses in the bursts within the nanogrooves of one-dimensional LIPSS formed by the preceding pulses creates 2D LIPSS.Additionally, hydrodynamic instability including convection flow determines the final structure of 2D LIPSS.

文摘To address the restriction of fiber-optic surface plasmon resonance(SPR) sensors in the field of multi-sample detection, a novel dual-channel fiber-optic SPR sensor based on the cascade of coaxial dual-waveguide D-type structure and microsphere structure is proposed in this paper. The sensor combines wavelength division multiplexing and space division multiplexing technologies, presenting a novel research concept for multi-channel fiber SPR sensors.

文摘Lattice structures have drawn much attention in engineering applications due to their lightweight and multi-functional properties. In this work,a mathematical design approach for functionally graded(FG)and helicoidal lattice structures with triply periodic minimal surfaces is proposed.Four types of lattice structures including uniform, helicoidal,FG,and combined FG and helicoidal are fabricated by the additive manufacturing technology. The deformation behaviors, mechanical properties, energy absorption, and acoustic properties of lattice samples are thoroughly investigated. The load-bearing capability of helicoidal lattice samples is gradually improved in the plateau stage, leading to the plateau stress and total energy absorption improved by over 26.9%and 21.2%compared to the uniform sample, respectively. This phenomenon was attributed to the helicoidal design reduces the gap in unit cells and enhances fracture resistance. For acoustic properties, the design of helicoidal reduces the resonance frequency and improves the peak of absorption coefficient, while the FG design mainly influences the peak of absorption coefficient.Across broad range of frequency from 1000 to 6300 Hz,the maximum value of absorption coefficient is improved by18.6%-30%,and the number of points higher than 0.6 increased by 55.2%-61.7%by combining the FG and helicoidal designs. This study provides a novel strategy to simultaneously improve energy absorption and sound absorption properties by controlling the internal architecture of lattice structures.

文摘The lightness and high strength-to-weight ratio of the magnesium alloy have attracted more interest in various applications.However,micro/nanostructure generation on their surfaces remains a challenge due to the flammability and ignition.Motivated by this, this study proposed a machining process, named the ultraprecision diamond surface texturing process,to machine the micro/nanostructures on magnesium alloy surfaces.Experimental results showed the various microstructures and sawtooth-shaped nanostructures were successfully generated on the AZ31B magnesium alloy surfaces, demonstrating the effectiveness of this proposed machining process.Furthermore,sawtooth-shaped nanostructures had the function of inducing the optical effect and generating different colors on workpiece surfaces. The colorful letter and colorful flower image were clearly viewed on magnesium alloy surfaces. The corresponding cutting force, chip morphology, and tool wear were systematically investigated to understand the machining mechanism of micro/nanostructures on magnesium alloy surfaces. The proposed machining process can further improve the performances of the magnesium alloy and extend its functions to other fields, such as optics.

文摘The propagation of surface acoustic waves in layered piezoelectric structureswith initial stresses is investigated. The phase velocity equations are obtained for electricallyfree and shorted cases, respectively. Effects of the initial stresses on the phase velocity and theelectromechanical coupling coefficient for the fundamental mode of the layered piezoelectricstructures are discussed. Numerical results for the c-axis oriented film of LiNbO_3 on a sapphiresubstrate are given. It is found that the fractional change in phase velocity is a linear functionwith the initial stresses, and the electromechanical coupling factor increases with an increase ofthe absolute values of the compressive initial stresses. The results are useful for the design ofsurface acoustic wave devices.

文摘The surface infiltrated composite (Ni/WC) layers on gray iron substrate were fabricated through a vacuum infiltration casting technique (VICT) using Ni-based composite powder with different WC particles content as raw materials. The microstructures of surface infiltrated composite layer, the interface structures between surface composite layer and the substrate, the changes of macro-hardness with the increasing of WC content and the micro-hardness distribution are investigated. The infiltrated composite layer includes a surface composite layer and a transition layer, and the thickness of the transition layer decreases with the increasing content of WC.The thickness of transition layer with 20%WC content in the surface infiltrated composite layer was 170 μm which was the thickest for all transition layers with different WC content. The surface composite layer was mainly composed of WC,W2C,FeB and NiB,along with Ni-Cr-Fe,Ni (Cr) solid solution,Ni (Si) solid solution and Ni (Fe) solid solution. The transition layer was composed of Ni (Cr) solid solution,Ni (Fe) solid solution,Ni (Si) solid solution,Fe (Ni) solid solution and eutectic. The surface macro-hardness and micro-hardness of the infiltrated layer had been evaluated. The macro-hardness of the surface composite layer decreases with the WC content increasing, and the average macro-hardness is HRC60.The distribution of micro-hardness presents gradient change. The average micro-hardness of the infiltrated layer is about HV1000.
文摘WC powder was injected onto the surface of Q235 steel by laser melt injection (LMI). The friction coefficient of LMI layer is only one quarter that of the substrate, which indicates that the wear resistance of the coatings is enhanced sharply.
文摘Through the rolling contact fatigue experiment under the condition of the lubricating oil, this article investigated the relation between contact fatigue property and microstructure on the surface layer of D2 wheel steel. The distribution laws of hardness and ferrite grain sizes measured could be explained by the distribution law of the shearing stress in the subsurface.
文摘A UHV system specially designed for studying surface and interface atomic structure by MeV ion scattering and channeling is described. The vacuum in the UHV chamber is 133.332×10-10Pa. The chamber is equipped with an ion gun used for sample cleaning, a translatable four-grid LEED-Auger system used for characterization of the crystal surface, and a three dimensional goniometer. The crystal preparation and cleaning procedure of Al(100) are presented. The surface peak intensity of Al(100)-【100】 and Al(100)- 【100】 has been measured by MeV ion channeling and scattering. The measured surface peak intensity was compared with that of Monte-Carlo simulation. The experimental results indicate that the thermal vibration amplitude of Al(100) surface atoms is 1.2 -1.3 times that of bulk atoms. The relaxation of first layer for Al(100) is less than -0.005nm.

文摘Soda-lime glasses were treated by electric field-assisted diffusion(EFAD) process. The defected structure could be reconstructed by additional annealing process.
文摘An analysis was performed of the turbulent data obtained from Yucheng experimental station in the Shandong Province in 1984. There is not such an extension of -5 / 3 power range in the humidity spectra.

文摘A new type of device consisting of a lithium niobate film coupled with a distributed Bragg reflector(DBR)was theoretically proposed to explore and release Bloch surface waves for applications in sensing and detection. The film and grating made of lithium niobate(LiNbO_(3))were placed on both sides of the DBR and a concentrated electromagnetic field was formed at the film layer.By adjusting the spatial incidence angle of the incident light, two detection and analysis modes were obtained, including surface diffraction detection and guided Bloch detection.Surface diffraction detection was used to detect the gas molecule concentrations, while guided Bloch detection was applied for the concentration detection of biomolecule-modulated biological solutions.According to the drift of the Fano curve, the average sensor sensitivities from the analysis of the two modes were 1560°/RIU and 1161°/RIU,and the maximum detection sensitivity reached2320/RIU and 2200°/RIU,respectively.This study revealed the potential application of LiNbO_(3)as a tunable material when combined with DBR to construct a new type of biosensor, which offered broad application prospects in Bloch surface wave biosensors.

文摘Ni-Cr alloyed layers were synthesized on the surface of Q235 mild steel by double-glow plasma surface metallurgy with different electrode distance. The microstructure and phases of the alloyed layer were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry(EDS),and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The corrosion behavior of the Ni-Cr alloyed layers both in 3.5%NaCl and 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4) solution were systematically investigated by open-circuit potential(OCP),potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).The obtained results reveal that the Ni-Cr alloyed layer consists of a deposited layer and an inter-diffusion layer. With increasing the electrode distance, the relative thickness, microstructure and phase composition of the Ni-Cr alloyed layers vary greatly.Polarization data show the Ni-Cr alloyed layer with the electrode distance of 15 mm has highest corrosion resistance and lowest corrosion rate, while EIS results reveal the same trend. The highest protective efficiency in 3.5%NaCl and 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4) solution are 99.23%and 99.92%,respectively,obtained for the Ni-Cr alloyed layer with 15 mm electrode distance. When the electrode distance is too large,a thin and porosity Ni-Cr alloyed layer, caused by low plasma density and Kirkendall effect, will be obtained, and will decrease the protective efficiency in corrosive medium.

文摘The utilization of eco-friendly,lightweight,high-efficiency and high-absorbing electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding composites is imperative in light of the worldwide promotion of sustainable manufacturing. In this work, magnetic poly(butyleneadipate-coterephthalate)(PBAT)microspheres were firstly synthesized via phase separation method, then PBAT composite foams with layered structure was constructed through the supercritical carbon dioxide foaming and scraping techniques. The merits of integrating ferroferric oxideloaded multi-walled carbon nanotubes(Fe3O4@MWCNTs)nanoparticles,a microcellular framework, and a highly conductive silver layer have been judiciously orchestrated within this distinctive layered configuration.Microwaves are consumed throughout the process of“absorption-reflection-reabsorption”as much as possible, which greatly declines the secondary radiation pollution. The biodegradable PBAT composite foams achieved an EMI shielding effectiveness of up to 68 dB and an absorptivity of 77%,and authenticated favorable stabilization after the tape adhesion experiment.
